I am also hoping that no news is good news!
As of yesterday I am now being treated for a (possible TMI) vaginal bacterial infection, which has been fun adding antibiotics that upset my stomach to a tummy that has not been stable since I started taking the hormone shots! Moral of the story: it is important to call with any "weird" smells or discharge, because I had been thinking they were going to blow it off as me overreacting to something normal and it wasn't.
The little puntmeister spent all of last week trampling on my bladder - thank goodness he flipped back around Monday so I have been getting a little reprieve from that! Still having to pee all the time (every hour on the hour last night) is still my main/worst symptom. Nancy, I don't think the back pain is going to get better until November! At which point, my sister maintains, it just moves down into the butt...
I have either put on 16 or 20 pounds, depending on if my starting weight is before or after starting the fertility drugs. Yesterday I was 134 at exactly 25 weeks. I don't own a scale either, and have no intention of getting one!
Since I am (lucky me) allergic to corn I can't take the normal glucose test. Next week they are just going to do a fasting blood draw first thing in the morning, then again after I eat a regular meal. Given my age, general health, and lack of symptoms I don't think they're overly concerned. Just concerned that I'm some kind of moron who just randomly decided that I have a lot of allergies and haven't ever actually been to an allergist to have testing done. I have been seeing allergists since I was 10 when my mom finally realized that when I said peas made my mouth sting I wasn't just trying to avoid eating them! I haven't been to one since we moved two years ago, but I don't think when I'm pregnant is a good time to start running more tests or experimenting with changing my diet.
Just registered at Babies R Us last night. Fun!! How the heck is everybody else?
