shelby and katie - I'm in for serbia!! WE'll go about 10 months or so from now with all our little ones. We'll take up a whole plane!!! Think kala's fam has room for us all?

ladyJ and stlgirl - I hope everything went well today. I look forward to hearing about the transfer. Congrats mamas you are now PUPO!

turtle - holy cow, 41! Imagine all the little bambinos we'll be bringing into the world!

fitz and cheekyone - I have you in my thoughts and prayers for great beta numbers tomorrow. You'll be our BFP #6 and #7!

deftonesmo - Yippee Yippee Yippee :D :D :D If I could I would be doing kart wheels around my living room for you!

akowens - yes, from what I understnad progesterone support will help with the lining. However, don't be surprised if you experience some spotting the progesterone has also been knows to do that. I first started IVF when I was 28. I don't remember how many follies I had but at ER they only got 9 eggs from me, only 5 were mature, 4 fertilized. It only takes one good follie with one good egg! Quality over quantity.

sancap - a thought for your shout out to us....maybe they can film you online telling us all when you get your BFP!

malya - good luck with your transfer tomorrow. I'm sending you lots of super sticky baby dust.

Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. BFPs all around!

SHELBY

oh my gosh. we have been to cayman, but didn't dive there (we were on a cruise). we are actually going back on another cruise in jan. if i'm not pregnant we'll dive there for sure. we have gone diving in belize (it was beautiful but cloudy so the colors were kind bad). cozumel has been by far the most beautiful fish and colorful reef. honduras is just great because it is SO pure, not a lot of tourism. we love that. i'm really really hoping i'm pregnant so i can't dive, but at least it's a consolation prize if i don't you know. i wish we had an aquarium to dive with sharks..that's NUTS. well, i'm so praying for you.

Deftones-Hooray!!! I love reading posts and seeing so many BFPs here!! That's awesome :)

Katie & Shelby-I'm so ready for Serbia. I could use a vacation and a few less IVF bills. Shelby, I got your PM just today-thank you :) I'm still trying to navigate this site so I wasn't sure how to send it back. My RE keeps confusing me so when he ordered meds ganorelix was not on there. I have to check with him tomorrow if I'm suppose to take it and when. Katie-are you getting more info on b/w? I keep bugging my doctor because I want to be in the loop-keep bugging :)

teachermom-welcome! Are you teaching right now? My life is so crazy right now because of school (I teach 2nd) and IVF. I feel like my head is constantly spinning and my memory is shot!! I understand the frustration with not producing many eggs-last cycle my body didn't respond to meds and my doctor thinks I'll be lucky to have four-six follies this time around. We hope and pray for that one perfect one :)

wolffie-Isn't it funny how differently we think from our DHs? Brains are wired completely different (that's what I keep telling myself for sanity's sake) Hopefully the work schedule will be worked out and you'll get the much needed pampering you deserve :) Best of luck.

Now that I'm done writing a novel (whew!) I am stuck in limbo. I'm starting stims next Friday (18th) and ER the 29th. I'm hoping 10 days of stims will do the trick this time!

akowens, cjsmom, teachermom, lisa - Welcome to our board!! Love that we have newbies joining us. :D

Strong swimmer dust for kala!!!! (LOVE the Nemo reference! - I'm still singing it in my head) :D

wolfie - I love being doted on also, ESPECIALLY when I'm sick or just had a major, life changing procedure!! Do you have a best friend that could come over? My BFF is just the best. She's coming over even though DH will be home too. She knows that DH, try as he may, just won't be a good doter.

sancap - AWESOME on the show. I saw a show once (can't remember which channel) on IVF before we did our first round. It really helped me relax, at least a little. Just think of all the women that you'll be helping through the process. I'd definitely ask for some money.

deftonesmo - CONGRATS!!!! I just can't get over the roll that we're on. WHEW-HEW!!!!!

AFM, just hanging out on lupron. Shots are going well, and my first stick 'n stir is next Thursday.

Sticky baby dust and PMA to all!!!
Me and DH - 37
TTC - 7 years, PCOS and 1 blocked tube
IVF #1 w/ICSI...DD born Oct. '08
IVF #2 w/ICSI...BFN
IVF #3 - FET....ectopic pregnancy

Wolffie – I like the idea of taking the kiddies. :D PMA!!! I’m going to take a sleeping bag….don’t care if I have to sleep in the floor! Good luck tomorrow!!!! You’re almost PUPO!

Johannanita - Are you going crazy yet? Only 6 more days!

LadyJ & Stlgirl – Tell us all about it, PUPO girls!!!! Did they let you know when your betas will be done :?:

Fitzjr & Cheekyone – Please don’t keep us in suspense. The stress is getting to me! LOL :o

Akowens – I agree with ya about the ONLY part that’s bad about being preg. is not being able to dive. Have you see the commercial for ‘How does stuff happen’ with the scuba diving cat? I LOVE IT :!: I’m a cat person and every time I see it I think, “Scuba Kitty”! The kids really liked Cozumel because of the drift diving. Cullen (12) said that he loved just floating along. We saw a HUGE turtle! Stingrays are my favorite. When we feed the fish @ the aquarium I always volunteer to feed them. They will knock you down trying to get the food if you are not careful! It’s so fun! And let me set you straight…..you WILL NOT be diving in January because you WILL have a BFP and WILL be pregnant!!!! Ok, just had to get that off my chest! He…he… What part of the world are you in?

Rayofsunshine – I’d gladly give up the bills part! ALL of them! LOL  . Let me know what you find out about the Ganirelix.

Mjay – How are you doing? Any more fluid aspirations? I hope you are better! :)

Deftonesmo – I can’t get over the idea that you had 4 transferred and you could have multiples! I love it!!!!

Claud & Neffi– good luck today @ your appt. Fill us in when you get the chance.

Prayin – Where are you?! Have you started any other meds yet? How are you feeling? Miss you!

Malya – GOOD LUCK!!!! Today you are PUPO!!!!
:D

Ruthie – Have fun with the Lupron tonight. Time for the process to move on!

Stats – Almost stim time!

Shoebox – When do you go in next?

I’ll tell you ladies what…. I’m lovin’ this board! It seems like every day I’m moving someone from one category to another and it makes me so happy to know that we are making babies! We are all in this together and making our dreams come true. I’m so glad that I (we) can share this momentous occasion with each other. I am praying and hoping for the best for each and every one of us!

Thanks for the nice welcome.

sancap14: We did PGD because we do have some genetic things. We have 2 DD's. Both with kidney problems and 1 also has a congenital heart defect. We also have dwarfism in the family. I know they don't test for that stuff, but we figured if we were doing this, why not give things a little boost. Since we have 2 girls, we also figured we'd try for a boy this time. We really want a 3rd child and have not been able to get PG.

We tested for 12 chromosomes w/ PGD which is norm. They do 9 or 12. Since one of my highest quality eggs had trisomy 18, my RE said if I did fresh again (which we are not) he would recommend to test all the chromosomes. I guess it is a little weird that at my age, I would have that bad embie. I also had a chemical that suggests there was something wrong that was not detected with the embie I had transfered. I was shoked at how many of the eggs were bad. We had 17 retreaved, 16 mature, and 13 fertilized. Out of those 13 only 4 were good enough to use. They said when they have us produce so many eggs, which is so abnormal, many of them can end up being abnormal themselves.
I am so glad we did it. Since we have 2 kids already and don't want twins, we only put 1 in at a time. We had good quality eggs w/ abnormal chromosomes that they may have put in w/o the testing. My friend had a baby w/ trisomy 18 and it was devistating. She knew he would not make it and had to walk around for 9 months knowing she wouldn't have the baby in the end. Sorry to be such a downer. Obviously most IVF babies are healthy, but I am now real glad I did the testing. It was an extra $4,500 but it was worth it to me.

shelbyrn02140 – yes I am going insane. I keep looking at my trusty little chart I printed up with what the embies should be doing each day following a 3dt. Today I am 6dpt3dt and it says that "Implantion process continues and the morula buries deeper in the lining". I pray that this is true! Yesterday I said to my DH, it’s day five!! He say’s I’m trying not to think about it! Poor guy.

Deftonesmo – I’m sure I posted it on the other thread, but I am super duper excited for you!! I dream about the day it happens for me. I pray for a healthy pregnancy for you.

AFM, I’m just going through the motions. I’m ½ there. 6 more days til beta. Of course I’m doing every single thing I’ve read all the other ladies do during the 2ww. I’m analyzing everything twinge I get and checking every time I wipe. I have AF like cramps, but I’ve had those since 2dpt. They come and go and aren’t horrible, just annoying. My boobs are still huge. This morning I was getting out of bed to go pee and I screamed because they hurt so bad when I got out of bed. Woke up poor DH who of course is yelling Are you OK!!! Other than that, I’m just waiting. I want to POAS so bad!!! Other then that, nothing else is really going on. Oh I had an appt yesterday to check my progesterone and it’s 20.9 which she said is good. They want it at 15.

Good luck to all the ladies awaiting there beta results. Grow follie grow to the stimming ladies and loads of PMA for those of us on the 2ww and the ladies who still haven’t even begun. You are all in my prayers.

Sorry I have 2 min but wanted to post so here goes...

Yeah another BFP!!!! That is amazing.

Good luck to our Beta girls today. I will be thinking about you all day.

Ohhhhhh I wish I knew how to dive. I am pretty landlocked being in the midwest but I did snorkel in Rotan Houndurus and it was AMAZING.

I am also doing PGD, but they are just checking for CF.

Off to change a stinky little boy. You all will be doing this in about 9-10 months =)

OMG. So many other divers here! It's been 6 years since my last dive cause I live in Chicago now and DH doesn't dive. So maybe I can't call myself a diver anymore. :P Belize was my favorite dive. There was sooo much to see there.

Hooray for all the BFP's!! And happy, healthy baby dust to everyone.

AFM, I'm trying not to think about the whole thing. I don't wanna get excited and I don't wanna get obsessed. I'm making myself super busy on purpose. Unfortunately, DH is starting to get excited. Last night he told me we can't name our baby "Scott" because he grew up hating a kid with the same name and asked me what names I liked. I was too stunned to speak. Anyone else in this boat? Or is it mostly the other way around?

Happy Friday Ladies!!

Deftonesmo - CONGRATULATIONS!!! I often think what message I will leave when I get the news and yours really communicated such genuine excitement and happiness!

Malya324 - Good luck today on your transfer! PMA!!

Johannanita - Great idea on tracking what our little embies are doing each day...and sending them encouraging thoughts along the way. After I post, I am going to track down a day by day playbook to do the same. Are you planning on any HPTs? I came apart a bit at the seams last cycle and spent way too much time with those things, so I don't want a repeat performance.

AFM...the thaw went well (whew!). We transferred 2 5 day blasts and had 'perfect placement'. They don't grade our embies at my clinic, so I really don't know the quality...only that my RE said that "these are very good". Hmpf. Anyway, I took it super easy last night - waiting until the absolute LAST MOMENT to go to the bathroom and staying horizontal most of the night. I am unfortunately back at work today. The nurses said treat your body like you are pregnant, which is a great thought to have today!!

Thanks all for all your well wishes Wolfie good luck tomorrow! I'm off to Acupunture and then to transfer 2 blasts. I have no idea how we thawed last night or maybe it was this morning. Beta will be 9/21 if I get to transfer today. God Willing all will be well, please keep me in your prayers today. Thank you all so much for all the support!
