Ist Scan update

Post by LORRAINE G »

Hi everyone

Well we have had the scan and could not see much. Definately could see the gestation sac, thought she could see the fetal pole(!), but says that she expects it all to be clearer by the end of next week as it is still early, so we are going to have another scan then. She is quite positive at this stage so we now wait for next week! Not sure when the scan will be yet because of Easter, have to wait for the appt to come through the post. Will let you all know when I know!
This dosen't get any easier does it?

Love to all

Hi Lorraine

Hope all goes well for your scan next week. It's all such a waiting game isn't it? It is good that the sonographer is positive that it will be ok. I hope you don't have to wait too long for the scan date to come through.

The worrying never ends. We have just had our 20 week scan and everything was fine, but already I can't wait until the next one!

I think we all lurch from one worry to the other! Sounds fine to me but then I am not expert. The sac is very important and it is all so small at this stage it is a wonder they see anything. I know it is a wait but try not to worry - sounds as if bubs if fine.

hi lorraine,
that's great news and good that your next scan is so soon. they'll be able to see much more by then and i'm sure you must be happy knowing baby is safely in the right place and growing.

hihi lorraine, am i right in thinking u were just 6 1/2wks when u had
your scan, that is still quite early, and it is amazing how quickly the
little one will grow in just a week, im sure everything will be fine, but
like all of us on hear, after your scan next week, u will start worrying
again till your next scan..........and so it goes on.
Enjoy the easter weekend and try not to worry

Hi Lorraine

I am glad your scan went ok and i am sure there is nothing to worry about. They would not of had sounded so positive if they thought any different.

Take it easy until the next scan. The worrying never stops.
