Well, my October FET cycle was canceled because of ovulation. I was told that the estrace alone would prevent that from happening, apparently not!! So I'm waiting on af to start cycleing AGAIN!!! It's so hard when it seems within reach of your dream, then taken away in a second with a phone call!! UGH!!!!

Hey Ladies,
I'm so sorry for being MIA the last few days. I have had a terrible sinus cold. I'm much better now thanks to my DH. He pampered me and made late night runs to the store for meds and I feel SO much better!

Jaydentd - I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. I, too, understand what it's like to lose that precious gift. I hope in time that your heart recovers and you are able to push forward. Until then, please grieve as you need to and know you have many supporters here.

Sharon - Hey! I'm still miffed about your cancellation! I'll be doing the AF dance for you!

shelbyrn0214 - i hope you are feeling better. just a quick not to say that i started my stims on the 4th of nov and should probably "officially" move to the nov/dec board.
congratulations to you and all the BFP's one more time and am so sorry about BFN's.

hello everyone , first congrats to all bfp's and all the best to all trasfer gonna happend , I have some question to ask

1. Is it okay to work during ivf ?

and one morething I meet new re and he looked all my past report and he said my hcg level (was 10000 ) was high and estrojen level ( was 5.2 ) was high too if he was doing my tretment he would have cancelled my cycle and He said my body responding meds realy well and I didnt need that high dose too , I m getting my hopes back I have to wait for insurance and I will start my treatmet in jan 2010

bjones-congrats!!! That is so exciting...I bet the older ones will be a big help. If you havent already come join twin land on the June 2010 mommies board...oh and send some twin dust my way.

bei-I didnt work during IVF...it is important to rest as much as possible. I spent 5 days in bed/couch after my ET just to help the embies dig in. Good luck! and Yay for insurance coverage!!!

bei I did work during IVF because I didn't have the option not to. I have a physical job too. I run a daycare. I still had to lift and run around all day. I tried to take it easy and still am. I only took off the day of my ET and the day after. Those days were actually Sat and Sun. My RE said that was fine for him.

Bei - I took off work and stayed on the couch from the ET all the way through my pregnancy test. My RE wanted me to be out for a week to reduce the stress. At the time that they said that I did not know how stressful the 2ww was all by itself. I did not even cook for my family. My husband had to do all of that.

Sharon - my doctor also does the "estrace/no lupron" before an FET. He told me that 9 times of out of 10 the estrogen alone will suppress, but 1 time out of 10 he will have to cancel. Given the odds, and the fact that cancelling is only a delay, but doesn't waste embryos, he doesn't prescribe the lupron unless people want it because so many women have side effects from it. In your case, I'm so sorry you were on the wrong end of it. I think some times our doctors don't understand how frustrating a delay can be!

bjones - congrats! A matching set!

bei- this clinic sounds much better for you. As for working during IVF, yes, it's ok - if I didn't I wouldn't be able to afford it! I did what Lisa did - I took a Friday off for my transfer and had bed rest on the weekend.

Lisa10 - Wow! Your numbers are totally inspiring! I need some encouragement to stay away from the evil sticks. I can make it to my beta on Weds!

Beth-- sorry to hear you were canceled

Bei-- I was told not to exercise alot during IVF

AFM-- transfer 2 almost perfect blasts today! We also froze 2, one good and one a little less quality, we are very excited and I have a very good feeling about this cycle. We never get some to freeze so we are VERY happy! Beta is on the 17th, but I am a POAS addict!

Neffi -I wasn't canceled - Sharon was, but we were on the same drug protocol for our FETs. I'm glad to hear that today went so well! Enjoy some well deserved bed rest!
