Neffi - good news yet?

Dogz - thanks for checking in!

I got mixed news from the test - beta of 34. Not good especially since I'm 16dpo right now. I know there's still some hope (Michele and Dogz - you're my inspiration right now), but I also know that chances are this is a repeat of last time. I have to wait until Monday for my next test. Any good vibes, thoughts, prayer that you might send this way would be appreciated. I'm feeling pretty defeated right now.

What is the earliest day you ladies would recommend POAS to see if I'm preggo? What brand would you use? I did a 5 day blast transfer on Tues, Nov 10th (late in the afternoon). My beta is Nov 19th. I have not one symptom at all...this is so hard!

Karen-- i would recommend waiting until 7dp5dt. I tested at 5dp5dt but you will go crazy wondering if it was too early or not.

Had my u/s today. All went very well. Despite the high HCG, we have 1 in there. Which is good, because with 2 in one sac we would have been very hgih risk. We had a nice strong heartbeat of 122bbp. Also the backbone was forming. It's crazy the difference a week makes. Last week I had a sac with a dot in it, the yok, and this week there was a baby with a beating heart and everything.
I go next Wed for another u/s and RE to release me to OB. I have OB appointment set for Dec 1. I will get another u/s then too. I like this. With my DD's, all I gow was a u/s at 8wks and one at 20wks.

Sticky dust to everyone on the 2ww.

Hey ladies...I've been lurking around too and checking up on the few that are left in this cycle...just wanted to say GL to neffi and beth for Monday. Fingers and toes are crossed for a big beta number that more than doubles :D

karenthescorpio- I think neffi's suggestion is right on. Any earlier would certainly cause extra stress wondering if it's too early. GL either way...praying for a + or ll whenever you decide to POAS!!!

GL to all of you and have a great weekend!

Lisa - congratulations! That must have been amazing.

Karenthescorpio- I've read that First Response Early Response is the best - detects HCG levels as low as 10, but if you're going to go on a POAS marathon, you may want to get the cheaper ones!

My RE called me today, which was great since I only talked to the nurse yesterday. (btw, especially after reading so many horror stories on this forum, I love my doctor and my clinic. They're pretty wonderful.) He just wanted to check in and make sure I knew he was in the loop. He said I was reading the situation right (not great odds) but that they've seen anything happen. He wants my beta over 100 on Monday.

Beth and Neffi - First off, Congrats on your BFP's! I know there may be some concern about numbers, but the fact is you both are pregnant! I will be praying and watching for excellent results on Monday. Doubling (tripling) dust to both of you!

Lisa - That's great about hearing the HB! What a feeling, huh?

Karen - I also used First Response and the results were very reliable. I agree with the timeframe that was mentioned
