Sorry I havent posted for a few days but after I posted on the acb tread on Tues I had a awful night couldnt sleep at all and was sick twice sat up all night in tears,when the pain was painful the only position that eased it a bit was sitting up and putting pressure on my right side,so I just sat on the sofa all night,anyway I thought I'd see how I felt in the morning before phoning the clinic I managed 4 spoons full of cereal but after 10 mins was sick again and again after that I couldnt drink so I phoned the clinic and they said to come straight through so I had to phone dh to leave work and come and take me to th eclinic by this yime I was in agony I have never felt pain like it before,Once at the clinic the nurse said she was just going to phone me to see how I was as my blood results had showned that my white blood cells were up or down cant remember but that showned I had an infection they scanned me again which still showned my right ovary was enlarged and I had some extra fliud they siad they would have to admit me staright away as it was obovious I was in alot of pain,I was quite relieved as I didnt want to be in pain any longer I was given a anti sickness injection and some pethdine in my bum to settle the pain before I was transfered to Sheffield Hallamshire the nurses and dr were brill and were really concerned about me,so I was transfered to the Hallamshire luckly the jessops have a tunnel that links to the Hallamshire so I was pushed through on a bed,I had antibotics put in a needle in my arm direct into the vein and given some strong painkillers luckly I had my own room on the ward with a tv and phone in with my own phone munber so people could phone me directly into my room,dh didnt want to leave me and was very worried as hes never seen me in that much pain but as you guys know it was is cup final so I made him go to that he phoned my best mate to see if she would come and sit with me for a bit,which she did,I was still in pain but not as bad as I was I had the antibotics put in 3 times a day I had a unsettled night and at 2.45am had to buzz for the nurse for extra painkeiller so she gave me another injection of pethadine I slept foe a few hours,the nurses on the ward wrer lovely and asked about our traetment the dr from Jessops who saw me earlier came over to see how I was I asked her if I should stop the pessaries as I thought that was it but she said no keep taking them we have all got our figers crossed for tuesday.On thursday I awoke in pain but not on my right side it hurt were they had done the injection really bad the nurse looked and said it was bruised and cos it goes into the muscle it does hurt for a few days and it still does every now and then really bad,I was able to take the anti botics orally so they took my cneedle out and said if I felt up to I could go home but they wanted to see how I got on during the day as if I needed stronger painkillers I would have to stay in another night,I tried to eat but I have really gone off my food I just dont fancy anything but I managed a few mouth fulls of my dinner from alot of stern looks from dh I was still in pain but not as much it was mostly from the injection so after I was seen my the dr in the morning and the dr came again from Jessops at dinner time to check I was ok as when I was admitted my blood pressure was up and my temp but on thrus they were ok,so at 4pm I said I was ok to go home so yesterday was spent on the sofa Iam on kapake for 3 days and on antibotics for 6 days the pain as eased and it come and goes it usally come when my painkiller is due,so sorry for going awol but I havent been able to sit at the laptop,everyone as been brill I 've got lots of cards and lots of lovely bunches and baskets of flowers plus my mother and father in law just live across the road so they have been ove rto do the house work,also dh as been lovely and doing everything,I'm still not eating alot but Iam much better today I managed to finish a slice of toast.I'm not holding much hope for tuesday I dont see how the embryos would stick around when I've had an infection and in so much pain and I'm on strong painkillers but we will see on tuesday I havent noticed any pg signs but I've been in that much pain that as over took everything else its just last night I noticed a bit of light red on my pad but there hasnt been any today so I think af will be round teh corner.
Have to go as the pains have returned so need my hot water bottle sorry if I have ranbled on and on its so hard to put in words what as happened.Just please pray that it will be good news on tuesday and all this pain will have been worth it,off work all next week now as they havent given me a sicknote so hopefully I will feel better as each day goes by so I will be able to post on here more.

o gem - what a nightmare - I wondered where you were. POOOOR you
Dont worry about Tuesday (ha ha) - if the embie was going to stick I bet it still would have even through all this. You never know maybe this was partially your body reacting strangely to something new.....which might be a good sign. And if the clinic are telling you to carry on with the pessaries then there must still be hope

What a nightmare, I thought something must have happened as I was worried you hadnt posted! You poor thing
. I am glad that you are feeling better and DONT think that you wont get a +ve as I have read other girls posts before who have had similar things happpen and they thought all was lost, only to get a big fat +ve 
I am going to my Mums tomorrow and wont be back until Tues pm, so I am sending you all my love and good luck for Tues, look forward to picking up your good news when I get home!

Happened to take a look at the main board and saw your post. I was wondering what happened to you and was worried....especially since your last post indicated you were feeling poorly. What a horrible experience for you. As if you hadn't already been through enough!
Was the infection caused by the EC or something?
Anyway, I hope you are starting to feel better and that your test result is good news (you certainly deserve it after you've been through)!
