National Backorder on Endometrin - Ghost, Anyone??

I just called Freedom Pharmacy to refill my Endometrin last night and they told me it's on national backorder and that they don't know when it'll be available again. Do you know anything about this? My IVF nurse today didn't seem to know much and called in a prescription for Crinone.....

I had not heard that.

There are many progesterone products and they all work pretty well.

It's a local pharmacy in Baltimore (Austin's Pharmacy).

My nurse said there was a manufacturing issue and they were running into shortage problems. I get those meds at Wal-Mart so I'm not sure which company they get it through. The nurse called for a 4 week supply hoping I could get all of it in advance and not have a problem with it. Hope you get what you need
