Hellooooooo, I am back and very brown!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Dagny »

Well hello everyone :D

I am back and ready to rumble!

DH and I have had a super break in Lanzarote. What a beautiful island? We went on a couple of tours round the whole place and learned so much about the history of the island. I have got a GREAT tan for just one week and wish it wasn't bl**dy raining so I can show it off

The major incident on what was supposed to be a relaxing time away to get over losing Katelyn was that I quite nearly lost DH as well  He decided to do 'Go karting' with some of the other guests and I went too. We were all doing really well when David and a couple of the other lads decided to take the FAST karts out for a spin (literally). To cut a long story short, DH was going very fast, too fast and clipped a barrier and flipped the kart over     right infront of us the spectators! I just saw him flying through the air with the kart on top of him his head, arms and legs everywhere. He landed on his back whilst still going along and took about 70% of the skin off it!! I was screaming as were most of the others who witnessed it. It was awful. He was rushed off to hospital where he was patched up and covered up in bandages and a full body stocking (attractive :? ). It could have been so much worse and I thank the Lord it wasn't. I had nightmares for the rest of the holiday. We had to go back everyday to have his dressings changed. We had planned to go Scuba Diving which was cancelled  Poor DH had to wear a t-shirt all the time and was taking pain killers by the dozen. Apparently no one has flipped one of those Karts over before - typical

We won a bottle of wine one night in the raffle and that ticket went into the grand draw which was being drawn on our last night. Well, we won :D and it was a free holiday back at the same complex for any time we want for a week!! A bit of luck at last 8) Needless to say DH is banned from Go Karting when we go back.

Coming back is horried as nothing has changed and being back in reality is hard to cope with but I feel ready to start treatment again. I have so much catching up to do with you all and see what's new. Hope you are all well and some of you have got BFP's.

Lots of love Dagny xkx
