deftonesmo - Thanks for the info. I don't really think she is going budge on this one. I am considering a second opinion at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, I live in Maryland. Did you also have issues with fragmentation before taking HGH? After taking HGH how many high quality embryos did you have? We are getting at least 2 high quality embryos each cycle, but by day 7 there are no viable embryos to freeze. So frustrating...

sound very similar to me . . .
second cycle with GH, we got 11 eggs, but only 6 fertilized . . . of those, we implanted the 4 best ones for a 3-day transfer . . . my first cycle we froze one embryo . . . this cycle, we froze none . . . of the 4 we transferred, 2 implanted, but one stopped developing pretty early on and my daughter hung in there =) I believe the GH and assisted hatching were the key to toughening up my eggs =)
I had high FSH and never had many eggs retrieved. The strange thing for me was that I always had at least 50% fertilize and make it to transfer with decent quality (as far as they could tell). I was at Hopkins also (summit - please contact me with any questions). We didn't do any sort of HGH but they were for sure willing to work with women with egg quality/high FSH, etc. where many clinics will not. I also recently read an article on DHEA as helping with quality issues. There is a link on the left side of my blog to an article titled DHEA and Infertility Treatment.
lilmd - I will send you a private message about Hopkins. I did also ask my doctor about DHEA and again she said that was something that their clinic did not practice.
