Hi
We have a hospital appt on monday to find out initial blood test results & when our first cycle can begin. Have had endometriosis for about 12 years & am very nervous about what it's done to my insides. I know I have a chocolate cyst on my left ovary & they're v. concerned. Just reading through all your messages to each other made me realise I'm not so alone.
Good luck to all of you who are already cycling, I hope to join you all soon.

Really not positve at all this time........if fact I have vitually written it off, very little of my usual cervical mucus, no mittlesmertz pain and only one DI which is supposed to be the day after the surge, but, the clinic is closed on a Sunday! Say no more!

Anyway, hope you are getting on ok Julyann.........have you gone nuts with the waiting yet!??

hi jen

so glad you have had your di. It only takes one sperm and your mucus might have been to much last time and the sperm could not swim. So try and keep positive a do all your normal things. I know that is easier said than done. I have already started knicker and boob checking...

when is your test date.

july ann

May Cyclers

Hi Girls

Been off the boards a couple of days and everything has gone crazy!! Glad to see we have a growing 2ww list! I am coming to the end now test on 24 which is Monday arghhhhh....

Christina and Shellie, like u the first week was really uncomfortable and had lots of pains, drank lots of water and did very little which seemed to help, now on the second week and no pains but very sensitive nipples!!!
These last few days are really nailbiting and knicker checking times..but hopefully will all be worth it...PMA PMA PMA.....

Bro sounds like you are catching up with us all now which is great news, I hope the Zita West bit of info about the sunbathing isnt bad news for me as I was out in the garden last week. Mind u I am a redhead so my version of sunbathing is quite different to most other peoples!

Nikkie and Sharon hope your ETs on Friday went well and that u two are both now on 2ww.

Jen and JulyAnn sounds like the DI girls are also coming along nicely although I am not sure how your protocol works.

Anyway whatever happens on Monday I shall carry on checking out with how u girls are doing!.

Hello to anyone else who is checking in and out. Keep on cycling girls and lets hope we have lots of BFPs :o :o :o

lots of love and babydust to all

Just a quickie :D

After ET on Friday I asked what they recommend I should and shouldn't do - told them about all the wives tales I heard etc and the Lister said the only thing I shouldn't do was sunbathe - which is a right pain coz it looks lovely out there :x But I just thought I should pass this info on to our other 2ww's.

Love to all

Hi girls,

Sorry for the detail but my boobs have been tender yesterday and today. Is that a good sign? I'm day 5 of 2ww, would these sort of symptons start now or are they more AF related. Having not had AF for months when would it usually arrive (average) after ET if things didn't work?

Hope all other cyclers are doing well.

Shellie,

Tender boobs are mainly because of the progesterone - Its the hormone you need in pregnancy and your body thinks it is pregnant (well it is anyway) and so the tender boobs are part of it. Some have tender boobs and some don't - it just depends on the person.

Bummer about sunbathing advise from Nickie! I've been out there getting a colour slowly for 3 days!!! That is so typical - when I usally have time off it rains and when I'm not aloud to sunbath it's sunny!. Oh well, I've done it now - don't see what a couple of hours a day can do if your not actually burning or overheating and taking lots of water? Can it?:?:

Hello Shelld,

I am so sorry to hear your news. You sound so sad & strong at the same time. I don't really know what else to say. Enjoy your chardonnay & chocolates even though its not much of a consolation. Sorry if this sounds stupid but I am really at a loss for words & a bit teary.

Thinking of you. :(

Shelld - what a bummer :( I'm sorry about your news - get really drunk and smear chocolate sauce over DH and hopefully it'll make things a bit better (well for the night anyway) - chin up girl - never give up as Traci says and thank you for spreading the dust to us

I'm only day 4 of the 2ww and already gearing myself up for a neg - don't ask me why - just have a funny feeling in the pit of my stomach

Well, off I go to watch more telly .................. this is doing my head in

Love to you Shell and all the MCB's

catching up

Post by Bronagh »

Hi girls,
I' starting to catch upwith you all, Had egg collection tthi smorning they managed to get 4 from 9 folicles . It was not as pain full as I expected and I'm just taking it easy on the sofa. DH had a wireless broadband connecion put into the house and its really cool. Means I can get internet acess even while on the sofa. It even works in the garden.

Anyway sorry that we have had our first negative of the thread, there well maybe others and \i maywell be one of them but I dont feel like I'm doing this alone with Dh . NOt with everones support. DH thought it was funny thAT after producing the sperm sample the clinic asked him if he had produced it himself--we wonderd if there had be anycases of people smuggling in somone elses sperm???? wierd. The other thing the Embrologist thought was wierd on our paperwork was that there is one question about if your partner dies can the women still use the embies. We said no and he said that was very unusual most people say yes . He asked us a number of times and we still had the same answer. I think that there is some point where you would just hAVE TO move on . anyway each to their own.

Anyway PMA to everyone, take it easy

Hi Bronagh,

Well done with your 4 eggs, not long now & u will be joining all of us on the 2ww. I am finding this 2ww extremely hard. I am a very energetic person & constantly on the go, & have to sit down and do nothing, but it will all be worth it. ON day 5 of 2ww now & everything you ladies said about it dragging is sooo true. I was glad of the advice about the sore boobie thing as I thought AF was on the way. Oh well! The things we do!

Will be thinking of you Shelld :(
