I am a slow responder to stims. For 3 fresh cycles I did 450 Gonal F plus 150 Menopur for 14 or 15 nights before trigger and got negative result. I got a positive once on a FET.
I am on day 16 of stims today, but was reduced to 300 Gonal F on day 6 (still 150 Menopur). My lead follicle was 14mm yesterday with lots of smaller ones. I will not be triggering until later in the week. My question is does a long period of stims cause the endometrium to become less receptive? Is it better to freeze all and do FET at later time? Thanks!

In one study, they randomized patients to trigger when the lead follicles reached 17mm, or else 2 days afterward. The later group had more embryos but lower pregnancy rate, suggesting reduced receptivity after the longer stim. I don't know what size your follicles were, but 15 days of stim is unusually long.
Some clinics do freeze embryos when they believe the endometrium is not ideal. Seems to make a lot of sense.

It took me a long time with stims too. Even though I can be on a low dose to stim but my estradoil would get crazy high with stims so they kept me on a low dosage. I'm not sure how many days I was on it but I told my new RE that it happened before too cause he thought it was unusual. My RE said as long as my endometrium lining was thick enough it didn't really matter. I guess as long as it isn't to long. I'm 34 weeks pregnant so something worked right

That's always the right answer.

Thanks for your posts - good to know I am not alone out there for the long stim. First I was told egg retrieval on Stim 14, then Stim 15 now Stim 17 - hopefully it wont be after that because S17 is Friday.... I cried for about 1 hour non stop feeling terribly depressed.
Funny because until then I was doing ok, but a lot of pressure at work and the drugs really are taking their toll.
