Gina - He's like a tiny angel! I am amazed at how strong they are breathing on their own AND taking breast milk already!!! Wow! Thanks so much for sharing them with us!!!

Amanda - Sorry to hear about the GD. The bright side would be that 1) they caught it, since knowing and treating it is THE most important part to your baby's well-being and 2) you're far along enough that your diet doesn't have to change for THAT long.

Margi - Hoping everything's well with you. How's the bleeding? Praying that damn SCH starts going away soon so you can finally relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

Mellow - So glad you and your family are enjoying yourselves! You all deserve to laugh and smile and be happy together. :D

I'm so happy to hear everyone else is doing so great! I love reading about all the uneventful pregnancies!

afm - Quick update on the move... WHAT WERE WE THINKING???? LOL The closing date got bumped up a day (our buyers had some kind of family emergency) so Thursday's the BIG day. Next week is going to be absolute chaos! I have most of what we can do without in boxes. The only problem is, the majority can't be packed until the last minute... hopefully everyone that's promised to help actually shows. I am taking it super easy. An hour of bubble wrapping and packing is all I can squeeze out at a time. It seems to bring on BHs so I get comfy on the couch with a huge glass of water when my body says it's time to stop. But, my kids have really put in extra effort to compensate for my lack of ability and I know my poor DH is gonna have a hell of a time when it's "crunch" time. He managed to get off of work for all of next week, so that'll be a huge stress relief for all of us! I'm just praying this all goes well...

Amanda- GD? I'm so sorry. Seems like a lot of people around here have it, even though I thought it was actually quite UNcommon. I'll eat an extra candy bar and think of you! :D

Gina - the boys are adorable! Congrats! I hope recovery and NICU time go really easy and quickly

Blair - at 7 weeks, you'll see so much! Happy little bouncing beans! Try to relax and just enjoy the fact that you are pregnant.

Karen - another ridiculous story from me -- I watched "The Prince of Egypt" (for the Passover 'mood'!) and bawled the ENTIRE time! And it's not like I've never heard that story before! :D

Lou - I always have 'withdrawal' in the loooong weeks between the NT and the anatomy scan! I'm going to try to push to get an extra scan in this time, because my NT is so early (last time, I did it at 13 weeks, this time 11.5). I'm hoping to get in a scan at 15-16 weeks and hopefully get a peek at the babies' sexes!

Anna - congrats on being cleared for intimacy! I know that the baby's health is always the first priority, but abstaining is such a hardship on a relationship! I always worry that I'll regret it -- but I haven't yet ;)

Chris - I *still* can't find mine on the doppler. Ugh. I bought a cheap doppler - I should have bought a better one! I'm really regretting not losing more weight... just so I could find these hbs earlier!

Barbara - I'm glad the hospital tour went well. Gaining less weight while pregnant is also probably a good thing. I started off a bit overweight (about 5'4' and 190lbs) and I was told to gain no more than 20-25lbs (with twins). You'll have a much easier time taking the weight off. Some people even leave the hospital lighter than before they got pregnant! Of course, losing weight isn't the GOAL of a pregnancy, but it can be a nice side effect!

Stephanie - I don't know *what* you were thinking! DH is talking of moving to a bigger apartment and we renew our contract in July. I'll be about 25 weeks pregnant - I told him no WAY are we moving! Maybe (maybe!) next year. 2 bedrooms is plenty for 4 people, when 2 of them are teeny-tiny!

AFM - I think I'm starting to show. I definitely don't look pregnant, but nothing fits and I 'feel' different. I think that the babies are displacing my fat, if that makes sense. My stomach is sticking out -- it's not babies, but it's the fat being moved as the babies grow. A few more weeks of looking really fat and then hopefully I'll look pregnant.

I'm nervous about the NT scan. Not that anything will be wrong with the NT measurements, but rather that we will go and the babies will be dead. DH says that's totally irrational and unlikely.... but I still worry. Just 16 more hours until we know!

Hi ladies! So much to catch up on-please bear with me as I at least attempt some personals!

Leora...Yay for possibley starting to show! I look back at my early pictures when I was all excited about a baby bump and laugh at myself now....that was NOTHING! It's crazt how quickly I am growing now! I'm so excited to hear all the GOOD news about your NT scan!

Stephanie....YIKES! You are one busy lady. I'm glad you're taking it easy and tht your kids are being a big help! Best of luck with the move!

Blair...Welcome and congrats! I'm sorry you have to wait so long for your scan....but it will end up being worth it :)

Gina....CONGRATS! Your boys are perfect! I am so happy they seem to be doing so well! Thanks for taking your time to share them with us!

Barbara...Yay for Brooke being head down and cooperating! good luck with your test results.

Amanda...I love the pics from your shower...what a beautiful couple!

Anna...congrats on the all clear for relations! DH and I are still way to nervous. Every once in a while we give in, but the bigger I get and the more they move, the more scared we get!

Lou...looking good momma!

Mellow...I'm glad you and your family are able to enjoy some laughs toghether. I love Marlo Joy....what a beautiful name!

AFM....DH is FINALLY starting in the nursery tonight! I cant wait for him to get home! I guess I ws technically supposed to start bedrest last week, I just haven't yet. I got a heart rate monitor instead and keep a close eye on it all day. When I need to I sit and relax. My work is very understanding (and my students are very, very good). I see my OB next friday and hope I can still try and keep going for a few more weeks :)

Here is my 22 week bump from Monday. I know my outfit doesn't match, but I have my work clothes on top and my pajama bottoms on the bottom :) Just thought I'd throw that out there!

Ryann - Your bump is so cute!! And your clarification on what you were wearing made me LOL. Too funny! I'm glad things are going well so far with the heart monitor and hopefully it will stay that way.

Leora - Your NT scan is going to go great! Can't wait to login tomorrow morning for your update!

Gina - I keep scrolling back to look at the pics of your boys. I'm sure you can't get enough of them. :D

Ryann- I know! I totally do *NOT* have a baby bump yet, but I feel different, which is exciting enough for me! No one would ever guess I'm pregnant, but to me and DH my body looks totally different. You are looking great! That bump is going to grow and grow. Kudos on still having separate 'work' and 'PJ' clothes.... I'm kinda wearing yoga or sweat pants all day! (oh, I'm really enjoying being unemployed!!)

Gina - your babies are so cute. Thank you for sharing.

Anna -I'm glad all is going well for you and you can get back to "full" activity.

Stephanie - Hoping all goes will with the move. Take it easy and get all the help you can.

Leora - Good luck with your NT scan tomorrow. I know it will be great and your little ones will put on a show for you to let you know they are ok.

Ryann - you look great. take it easy and don't over do it.

AFM: Looking forward to a weekend away with my husband to celebrate our birthdays and Easter. I have my next OB appt on Mon. I wonder if they will do a scan. He has not yet so maybe... But with NT not that long ago he may wait. I continue to grow and more people are guessing that I am pregnant - getting harder to hid from my patients at work - esp ones that knew what I looked like a few months ago.

Hope all have a great weekend!! Kelley

annashope wrote:Hi girls and happy spring break to all the teachers and mommy's of school aged kids. It has been a busy week but I have been reading and following along

Gina Huge congratulations on the boys and they are beautiful!! and what great weight on both of them!!! I am wishing you a speedy recovery :)

Blair welcome and it is so great to see you on this side!!! I can't wait until your u/s and I too am guessing maybe its more than 1 in there :)

Mellow I am so glad Marlo is doing well and I hope the lake helps you recharge your energy a bit. I love the middle name Joy!

Margi I am so sorry you are having SCH and have to be on bed rest for 4 weeks but please be careful and stay resting as much as you can. Please try not to worry most twin mommy's here have had SCH and all of us I think including myself have
had bleeding episodes. My last bleeding episode was at 12 weeks and all is well so try to relax and visualize everything going well...Hugs you are always in my prayers sweety

Lou in my first pregnancy (granted that was years ago and I was in great shape back then...lol) I did not look pregnant until 28 weeks so being in shape will keep you looking not pregnant way longer.

KJM you had me rolling laughing with your comments on maternity clothes because it is so true..lol I have double D boobs and just have to wear a tank top under most maternity tops otherwise it just looks like I am trying to showcase the girls.... I actually ab buying non maternity tops but ones with loose belly and in bigger sizes and it has really worked for me so far.

Leora I understand what you mean about struggling with faith but in the end it will come back to you because I am sure it is a part of who you are you just have to give yourself time to heal emotionally and I am sure once you are holding these beautiful babies in your arms your faith will come back like a flood

Karenvancouver I know how scary it is to always worry but try no reading about those things (2nd yourself that everything will be ok... I obsessed at my Anatomy scan and was so scared to find out something is wrong but I think that is in our nature (having gone through years of infertility and getting bad news) but as Sonya said in earlier posts "more babies turn out ok than not" and I guess that's what I try to tell myself...so maybe it'll help you too :)

Barbara and Leora I have been such a cry baby these past 22 weeks...lol the other day my DVD player broke and as DH was trying to fix it my computer stopped working and all of the sudden I became 5 years old again bawling my eyes out that "nothing works for me" it was actually embarrassing. I have had another incident where something really funny happened and I was laughing so hard I started to cry and this went back and forth for a couple of minutes...I am surprised DH does not think I am crazy yet...lol

AFM All is going well. Had my OB appt yesterday and I am measuring right on schedule and great news....Our placenta previa has resolved so we now got clearance to ...um... be intimate again after 22 weeks of abstinence...lol so I have a question especially of you girls who have abdominal cerclages and are having your cervix monitored..Do you get any kind of bleeding or cramps? is it ok to "o" I mean my ob seems to think its ok but I am nervous to try...lol I mean I want to try just don't to regret it. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Well I gotta run. I am the spring break entertainment for my 10 year old since he has a cast on so off to the zoo we go :)
Annashope- when I got my TAC, my surgeon (Dr Davis) gave me precautionary guidelines to help prevent infection and keep things calm. Sex was a definite no-no. Which includes orgasms bc that can cause cramping I know, it sucks. But anything put in the vagina puts you at risk for infection. Also, no soaking in the tub or digital exams by any doc unless what they use to cover their hands is sterile. No reason for it. My DH and I have moved to other intimate activities to keep the closeness. Intercourse isn't the only option.

Gina - BEAUTIFUL BABIES!! So glad to hear they're doing SO well!! Bless their tiny little hearts!

Ryann - What a cute bump you have there! Glad you're monitoring your heart rate and looking after yourself and your precious little ones.

Amanda - loved your pictures from the baby shower. You're glowing! Sorry about GD but glad to hear they caught it early.

Baby-blu - I'll be in your shoes soon, too! We're actually planning to move to a whole another state during the end of my 2nd trimester/beginning of 3rd. Wish me luck! We're already starting to pack stuff in boxes while I still can w/out a bump in the way. Glad you're taking frequent breaks in between. Good luck with the rest of the move!

Blair - I'm a little late, but CONGRATS!! How exciting!! I always love hearing about new pregnancies and having people join this side of the forum. Yay!

AFM - 14 weeks tomorrow.. so according to EVERY book, I will officially, officially be in my 2nd trimester! Woohoo! I'm starting to form a mini bump; it's oh-so-cute, and makes it feel oh-so-real! I love it! Next OB appt next Tuesday. Still waiting for this nausea and tiredness to subside.

Wow I have tons of personals to catch up on, I will get to them when I can use a real computer and not my phone. I'll just give all of you a huge thank you for now.
Will had a little set back and is on the C-Pap again, still doing great eating and gaining weight back. I had a chance to hold him tonight which was great. I held Wyatt for 2 hours this afternoon and the poor little guy cried when I put him back :(
I'm being discharged tomorrow, told my DH to bring a big box of tissues even though I know they're in excellent hands and that I will be here every day.
Here's a picture of Wyatt and I <3.
Hope all of your bellys are growing nicely!
