has anyone of you used the nasal spray synarel or similar product instead of micro dose lupron injection in the micro dose flare protocol? how effective are they..?
my re prescribed micro dose lupron injection, and since it is on back order everywhere, nasal spray was suggested as an alternative..i would like to know, if it is as effective as the injection version and also if it has any side effects..

My clinic considers synarel to be less reliable and less cost-effective than Lupron. Nasal absorption varies more than with injection.
Perhaps your RE would consider an antagonist cycle instead? (ganirelix or cetrotide)

that was my main concern about the nasal spray as well.
my last 3 cycles were antagonist , and it did not work for me. though we could get 8-11 eggs, the embryo quality wasn't very good and we didnt have anything to freeze.
so this time they wanted to try the micro dose flare protocol..
do you think another antagonist round is better than the micro dose flare protocol with a nasal spray? looks like we are not getting micro dose lupron from anywhere in the near future.. and i am supposed to start my cycle in 1-2 weeks..

I doubt that either protocol has been proved to be better than the other. If you are using the flare to get the follicles going, synarel may be fine for that first dose.
