Leora: Holy crapola! That sounds really scary. I wonder if the blood was from a rapid change in your cervix. Definitely stay in bed until your appointment on Thursday. Actually, I'm bummed that they aren't seeing you sooner...

AFM: I'm having bouts of false labor and am getting a lot of downward pressure that comes and goes. I believe that Brooke has started to pack her things and is thinking about making a break for the door. I'm not worried... It doesn't seem scary, just a new phase of pregnancy that means this is almost over. My mom's labor with me was nearly painless and only lasted 1.5 hours so my husband is a little nervous but I feel pretty relaxed. I'll see my doctor on Wednesday and see what she says.

Leora: UGH!!! As if you needed the stress. :( :( Stay in that bed--if any more bleeding or cramping go to ER (as if I needed to tell you that). Guzzle your water. And do your best to think positively. I am so sorry you are going through this....but you are over 3cm and the bleeding did subside. (((HUGS))) lots and lots of (((((HUGS)))))

leora, omg, that does sound scary! glad you're on bedrest and that the babes look unaffected.. please keep us all posted

hi to EOE. i'm doing good today, excited about having a girl, i'm still not certain on her name but working on it. the neighbor gave me some beautiful girl infant hand me downs.

Hi ladies! Quick post here as I can't seem to catch up these days!

Leora -- I'm so sorry for your scare and I'm thinking of you. Maybe one of those measurements wasn't correct? Did the same person do them? Yes it really seems more than chance how accurate the predictor was... hmmm... maybe those ancient chinese were onto something, eh?

nwquiz -- It's funny, DH said today that this pregnancy is "dragging by". I guess it's only going by quickly when you're not the one in it!

Happy Bunny -- You really are almost there. Soon you'll be holding your sweet baby girl in your arms! I can't wait.

Rio -- Ugh! Thanks for the heads up on the gall bladder issue possibility. I sure hope that doesn't happen too often.

AFM -- Just a crazy busy weekend here. Got a couple of pics to share from our trip.

Here I am in Washington D.C. at the WWII Memorial at about 19 weeks. This top makes me look bigger than I am.

And here I am in Quebec at the Frontenac Hotel last Wednesday at about 20 weeks (well 19w5d, hehe)

Leora- Sorry you keep going through these scares- You and your two boys are in my thoughts. Hoping everything is fine and they are still doing great with no issues. Even though bed rest stinks maybe it will help with the cervical length. I cant believe they are making you wait that long for the official anatomy scan. Im really hoping they can sneak a peek sometime way before then for me.

Lou- So great to hear from you and see that you are doing well. Love the vacation pics!! Your little belly is so cute.

Karenvancouver- Its always nice to get some free hand me downs. Glad you are doing well and working on a name for baby girl.

Margi- Hope you are doing well and surviving bed rest. How much longer until you go back to the MD?

Bunny- You are getting sooooo close. I cant wait to see pics of Brooke as soon as she gets here. Hoping you have a smooth and quick labor!!

Nwquiz- You are def right about the comments. Im sure we all get out fair share of comments to deal with. I love when people ask if the triplets are real or not. Sometimes when Im out and people ask if triplets run in the family I just run with it instead of sharing my life to stranger. Hoping your ovary has gone down- mine did the same thing and actually is still going back to normal size so it may take awhile.

Bliss- Glad you could finally join!!!!!! I am sure your little one(s) are perfectly fine despite the not quite doubling. I cant wait to hear how the first US goes and how many you have cooking in there. With the M/S I def wouldn’t worry about that either. Like everyone has said some people don’t experience it at all and ppl who do don’t usually start feeling it until 6-7 wks.

Gina- So glad to hear the boys are still doing well even though Im sure your beyond ready to get them home. Fingers are crossed for a few more days of no apnea!!

Mellow- So glad to hear Marlo is doing well and is just on the nose vent. When you mentioned being able to hear her cry I started tearing up reading it. I know she will continue to gain weight and prove how strong she is to everyone.

Ryann- Glad to hear Dylan and Bella are gaining weight and doing well. I should try your measurement just to see how big I am already. Its too cute that they are both just staring at each other- you need to post new US pics!!

Anna- Glad you are starting to feel better. Keep drinking as much water as you can. Keep baby Paul in there for awhile longer so he can keep chunking up. As for me I will probably start posting my belly pics soon. I had to invest in maternity shorts/pants already because the ones I had were not working out.

Stephanie- Glad you finally got those carseats in after all that hassle. Im sure its nice knowing that if they came tomorrow you wouldn’t have to worry about that anymore.

AFM- SO excited and anxious about tomorrows apt. DH switches to a new rotation so Ill be going alone but Im still very excited since its been 2 full weeks since we saw them last and I know they will look a lot more like little people now. My stomach is getting bigger every day and now I think its obvious that its because of pregnancy and not because I ate too much over the weekend. I will try to post a belly pic, maybe when I post US pics. Hope everyone is doing well after the long wknd.

Don't have time to do personals right now. But wanted to give you guys a quick update. The ultrasound went well. Baby is measuring 8 weeks 5 days and the heart rate was 180. So high but she said that it was really good and that in the next week or two the baby will find it's happy medium. She explained how the heart rate changes at first a lot and goes from high to low to high until it finds it's balance. Don't know if that's true but that's what I was told. They said everything looked really good and the baby was moving around. We saw two legs and two arms and the brain.

I'll catch up later on personals when the boss leaves for the day.

I hope everyone had a nice long weekend.

I am on my phone at work... So more later. Had my HCG level checked today to ease my mind and get this...

My doubling time has increased to 39 hours... Total 20,500!!! I am one very pregnant gal. Thanks for all your great support ladies. Don't know what I'd do without this site.

Leora- thinking of and praying for you. I just know in my heart that you and the babies will be just fine. Take care of yourself.

Maire Anne- Looks like we are a day apart. So glad your ultrasound went well. Im always stressing right before mine. I'm so glad I get another one on June 22nd.

Mellow- So glad baby Marlo is doign well.

Leora- So sorry you are going through all this. Glad they are watching you carefully though. And your right there is a plus to being high risk and that is the extra ultrasounds to ease our minds.

Stephanie- Glad you finally got the right car seats. That must have been frustrating especially when your so close to your due date. How did everything go with putting the nursery together.

Lou- Welcome back from your vacation. Glad you had a good time. I love your belly pics you look great.

Annashope- How are you feeling?

Rypell- great news ont he bay's weight. How is that bed rest going for you? Have you been cheating and getting up more when no one is looking??

BakersBaby- I'm sorry I don't know anything about low lyign placenta's but it looks like a ferw girls did so hopefully it helps ease your worry. I would be upset though that my doctor with held that.

Gina55- Hoping you can take baby Wyatt home in a few days.

Riogrl- Thanks for the info. I actually had never heard that before.

Bliss- Congrats on the BFP. In my previous pregnancy's I never got MS until 8 weeks.

Nwwhiz- Hope that ovary has resolved itself and excited for you to get a peak at the baby.

Barbara- sure does sound like Brooke is ready to come out.

Blair- Glad you are getting that peak tomorrow. It must be hard having triplets and trying to keep your pregnancy under wraps.

OH AFM: My RE wants me to discontinue the PIO shots after Sunday at 9 weeks. He said the placenta has been making it now for a few weeks but they always give it that extra week or two. He said that there is a few places now that are stopping it at 4 weeks. But he said they are not ready to do that. I'm nervous stopping it so early. When did you all stop?

My BFF came over on Sunday so we (well, more SHE since I'm just shy of useless these days) could get some work done on the nursery... FINALLY! :D Here's a pic from the doorway...

Image

The wall color is more accurate in the following pics. We only have one crib right now, I'm gonna order the other one soon but here's the one we have...

Image
Image

Everyday I tell myself I'm gonna go get the changing table that's sitting at the store, paid for and everything... but I'm to the point in this pregnancy that I'm happy doing nothing at all. Besides, my tummy's too big for any of my maternity shirts to completely cover anymore. So going out into public is not my favorite thing to do. Maybe I'll send DH to go pick it up today...

Karen - Congrats on the baby girl!!!

Margi - I dont' think I have felt the babies move yet - at least I don't think I have, sometimes wonder but it is so fleeting. I am getting kind of nervous about it because the other ladies at my stage all have. I hope you are doing well and having uneventful bedrest right now. Hopefully soon you will be up and around again.

Stephanie - I hope you are doing well and BH are not too bad. Keep taking it as easy as you can - you are doing so great. Yeah for getting the car seats and the nursery done. I love the nursery. You are ready to get these babies home with you - they just need to cook a little longer. Quick question - were you working, if so how long were you able to work? I keep worrying about that as well.

Happy Bunny - Great idea for the car seats - I had heard of that as well. I am going to get an appt set up when I get closer. I wish you all the best and easy delivery when the time comes - you are getting close.

Lou - Welcome back!!! I am glad you had a great trip. I am jealous of you feeling the baby so early. I still don't think I have felt mine yet. EIther I don't know what I am feeling or I just can feel them yet.

Anna - Glad you are feeling better. Rest up and keep baby Paul cooking.

Ryann - Great news - your babies are growing so good. I know what you mean about geting so big. I look about 7-8 months pregnant, I swear (I need to figure out how to post belly pic). All belly too, not lucky like you to have a long torso.

Mellow - Thanks for update on Marlo - that is great that she continues to progress and is starting to get off the vent. She is so strong and blessed!!

Sonja - How are you doing?

Gina - Thanks for the update on the boys. Sounds like they are doing very well and will be ready to go home soon.

Rio - thanks for the heads up on gallbladders. You are a wealth of knowledge. I hope you are doing good.

Bliss - Yay for the great new beta - you are very pregnant. Like everyone else has said - don't worry about having symptoms. I did not have any morning sickness at all and very minimal other symptoms and I have twins. I was thankful not to have them.

Leora - Dont let you mind even consider something going wrong with this pregnancy. Rest up, take it easy and drink lots of water. You have a good doctor following you and all of us ladies are supporting and praying for you and believing that you will have two handsome boys home with you at the end of the year!!

Blair - Good luck with your appt - you will love the new ultrasound pictures. Your belly will grow weekly, then daily. I swear I feel my belly growing. I sometimes wonder if it will ever take a break for a day or two.

Kat - Your little baby is growing very strong. I wouldn't worry about the heartbeat (unless there wasn't one - that I would worry about). I stopped my suppositories at 10 weeks but my nurse said I would be fine stopping at 8 but since I had them to go ahead and finish.

AFM - Nothing new- had a busy weekend but survived with daily naps -got to love the naps!!!

Hope the rest of you are all doing well.

kjm - I had to throw in the towel around 26 wks (if my memory's right). I drive a city bus and just got too big to fit behind the wheel. If my company offered light duty, like answering information calls, I would've been able to work much longer. But our policy is, if you can't drive, you can't work. I think I could've made it to at least 30 weeks, maybe 32 if things were different.

Kat - THANKS! :D

Lou - Thanks for sharing the babymoon pics! You look great!

hi all,

leora, you are definately in my thoughts and prayers, i was thinking about how stressful this must be for you given your previous loss.. i had a loss at 12 wks and if f'd me up pretty serious, so i can only imagine what it'd be like to lose babies later on.. that being said, it sounds like this is a different pregnancy already and you have great medical support and monitoring. they will do a cerclage if necessary.. *hugs*

kjm, i hope youdon't worry too much about not feeling the babies yet, every pregnancy and body is so different, there is a wide range of 'normal'

stephanie- the nursery looks great!!!

sweet pea- the progesterone is really a precaution after the 6 or 7 wk mark, as the placenta takes over.. it's a tradition that it's taken for up to 9 wks or longer.. my first pregnancy i took it for 12 wks, cause i had a previous m/c and was just totally freaked out over everything, but this pregnancy i stopped at around 9... and nothing to worry about with a 180 h/b, anything between 100-200 is normal in early pg.

blssful- awesome hcg!! yah! what a reassurance hey? i'm so happy for you

blair- good luck at the u/s!

hi to EOE... and afm, now i'm thinking "Delaney" should be her name :) just can't decide!
