Thin Lining!! Ghost or anyone????

So long story short, my lining sucks! Last months FET was canceled due to bleeding and poor lining. I am on 10mg of estrace and Viagra 4x/day and went for u/s today and lining ws barely a 7. What the hell? What can I do to make it better? They bumped up the estrace to 12 mg and will check it again on Friday but will not do the transfer without a 7.5. I did get pregnant and had DS with a 7.5. Anyone know how to increase lining? Why is my body not responding to the meds???? I have done so many fresh cycles and dont have this problem when I use stimming meds. My lining for fresh cycles was always between 7-9 which is still not good, but I thought will all this, it would be good today!!!!!!!!

Ghost-- I did read a post form Sept where you told Leora that your clinic does Estrogen for as little as 10 days and as long as 14. My RE does it for 21 days.....why is there such a difference in protocol. From what I can see from more women doing this, it seems like the norm is 13-17 days? I did mention this to RE before and they were willing to go down to 18 days but now that my lining is crap that is obviously not going to happen. I have seen some posts of people having healthy pregnancies with 7's but I'm worried to waste these perfect embryos in a crappy uterus!

Neffi, with my fresh cycle, they barely got my lining over 7, and it was successful. However, because they had so much trouble, they put me on estrodiol injections every third day (big doses too) for two weeks for my FET, and my lining got to be well over 8. I know every situation is different, but that was the route my clinic took with me. I'm rooting for you!

The natural model is about 14 days, but a little less really. 21 days seems awfully long.

Does your clinic have good FET success rates?

The endometrium is thinner in FET than in fresh because there is not as much E2 to build the lining. You don't have all those follicles making E2 in an FET.

Increasing the E2 should increase the thickness. Your relatively thin lining in fresh cycles is an interesting clue. It seems you may be one that just does not build a thick lining for some reason.
