Mock transfer?

Post by Globetrotter »

I don't remember my doctor mention doing a mock transfer. When do they happen? Are they always required?

Since I am having a laparoscopy, is it possible he can get similar information (measurements?) without doing a mock transfer? Thanks!

I had a mock transfer with each of my transfers, I think. They just insert a catheter of the same type they use to do the ET. It takes just a second. They did mine at the same time they did the HSG. It just helps them know how far it is from the cervix to the top of the uterus.
