Akdelp- Sorry to hear about the spotting and that is a strange one, but it sounds like an infection to me and something that can be an easy/quick fix!

Wow - you guys move fast! I had a crazy week at work so catching up now.

WeHaveHope - Not a basketball fan. In fact, I really know nothing about basketball. :(

I got my schedule. I start the injections on March 18th. I am FREAKING out because the drugs have not yet been shipped (we're on the 11th). I will call tomorrow AM if the status online has not changed ("not shipped". UGH) :?

Don't worry! My drugs usually ship overnight because some of them must be kept cold. I usually get my shipment a few days before I am scheduled to start. Just call to check what day they will be shipping tomorrow... But don't worry.

Me again. REALLY freaking out now. This is what's going on with the drugs... (FYI. I am covered through United Healthcare and have to buy the drugs through their prefered supplier i.e. Medco)

3/5: Hospital faxed prescription to MDR and ask me to initiate shipping. I call right away to initiate shipping but they had not received the prescription yet (must have been on the fax machine or something) so they asked me to call back.
3/6: I called back to initiate shipping. They tell me someone will call me back.
3/7: Nothing, so I called MDR back to be told that I need to order the drugs directly from Medco, not through them.
3/8: Hospital faxed prescription to Medco directly.
3/9: I called Medco to initiate shipping. My status updates online - "Not shipped yet"
3/10: My status online is still "Not shipped yet".
3/11 (today): My status online is still "Not shipped yet". I called Medco and was told that they are missing information from the doctor and that's what is holding up shipping. I emailed the nurse to let her know.

...
3/18: Day 1 of Lupron

What's plan B? Where can I get Lupron overnight? Do you think I can find 2-3 units just in case the kit doesn't get to me in time? UHC probably won't cover it but that's fine. I really don't want to delay my cycle

Hi ladies, m back home so just catching up with everyone

Christy: Im sorry to hear things are difficult for you right now. I know that the level of support you give to others is huge and I hope you have some really good and true support around you now. I also know you have alot of strength so whatever is going on must be big for it to have shaken you. I'll keep you in my thoughts and i really hope you are ok x

Julia: how are you?

Lyd10: thank you so much!

Akdelp: thank you too - af came :D how are you and did your discharge clear up?

Nicole: did you do your half marathon?

Kynlene: one week down? That's great. How are you feeling?

Gina: glad you enjoyed Paris. Definately two night minimum next time!! I'll bet your feet do hurt!!

Anton: any job news?

Maria: hope your cruise goes well

Leora: sounds like a good compromise. Are you happy enough? Where is your yearly trip to?

LauraN: how are you feeling?

Globetrotter: oh that's annoying and worrying. Where have they to be shipped from and to?

I hope I didnt miss anyone and im really sorry if i did.

Afm: im doing good :D the lecturing trip was good but very intense. Small group of six therapists who all have decent experience but their initial training wasnt that good so im part of a team of five therapists who undertook to fill the gaps in their training. I was staying in the co-ordinator's huge house! However I didnt realize the group were all staying there too and I found that just too much as there was no break from them. They were lovely but i really need space. I was very glad to get home.

Baseline scan Wednesday morning

Globetrotter, call Medco and ask them for expedited shipping. It will cost about $10. I used to have to do it because they are so bad at dragging their feet.

Ninde- Glad to hear the trip went well. I can't believe you are ready for a baseline! I'm so excited for you.

Leora- I'm glad you guys are having some fun and going through counseling. It's so important to be understanding of each other and to be on the same page with decision making.

Maria- So jealous. I can't wait to hear your stories and see pictures when you get back. I hope the cruise is wonderful.

Globe- Don't worry. I'm sure your meds will arrive in time.

Kynlee- The meds always make me super tired. I can't say about the dreams. I am a vivid dreamer and have been my whole life. I also get nightmares which aren't fun. My dh has woke me up from screaming many times. I have heard of others noticing that their dreams become more vivid and strange.

Christy- We will be here when you are ready to return. Thinking of you.

AdKelp- Hopefully the spotting/discharge thing will clear up soon. I'm exciting for your u/s. Isn't it Thursday?

AFM- We ran the half marathon yesterday. It was raining and cold but we managed to both do well. It was fun. I set a personal best so I was quite happy. I had to laugh that my dh missed me at the finish line because he didn't expect me to be there yet. I came in about 15 mins before he expected me. Too funny! I hurt like a ***** afterward. That's how you know you pushed really hard. I totally felt like I had the flu last night. I feel much better today. We are both super tired but it's all good. Now I have to look for another race so I can work on getting my time faster.

I'm still spotting slightly but the headaches have lifted. I had horrible cramps and bleeding with this AF because of the chemical pregnancy. The headaches were awful. They were so bad that by the last one my vicodin wasn't cutting it. Thankfully it's better. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to run this weekend.

I haven't followed up with my dr yet. I'll do that sometime soon. I still have to go for another beta but haven't been in a hurry considering the heavy bleeding I had.

Tata for now. I'm beat and it's bed time. :D

Maria - hope you are having a TON of fun on your cruise! What ship are you on?

Kerri - ugh. I'm sorry there's more spotting. Can you go for your u/s a few days earlier? Even if not - just 3 more days!

Laura - how are you doing? BCP doing well?

Felicia - 3rd trimester already?! Wow! Congrats! You'll be holding that little boy before you know it!

Gina - 11 hours in Paris? Definitely not enough! Did you go just for fun, or for something else? (My in-laws were extended tourists, ie illegal aliens, here in Israel for a while and they had to leave the country every few months to renew their visas -- they did lots of 12 hour trips to Europe!)

Globetrotter - actually, I was going to comment on how SLOW the board is moving! :D Usually a bunch of us post everyday. There are quite a few people on break, and luckily, quite a few people who have moved onto the "pregnant after treatment" group. That's why we need fresh blood like you! No idea about the mail-order drugs - I get mine from a physical pharmacy here.

Patricia - when do you start your stims? If everything is okay on Wednesday? So exciting!

Kynlee - no POAS yet? You are much stronger than I am. I totally understand wanting to focus on the positive instead of obsessing about the sticks -- I wish I could hold off on POAS like you are! When is your beta?

Nicole (blue eyed) - Half marathon? I'm impressed! The Jerusalem marathon is next weekend, and the only way I'm involved is trying to figure out how to get home from work without getting stuck where the streets will be closed! :D Do you have a date for an appt with the doctor for a follow up? Have you done the RPL blood testing?

AFM - well - I'm exhausted. We had a wedding last night and got home around 1am... now I'm at work at 7:45!

Tonight is going to be crazy -- maybe I'll leave work early to take a nap!

I stopped my Provera, so now I'm on "AF watch". Hopefully soon. I called into my regular GP for a BCP prescription - I'll have to check if that is ready later.

Globetrotter- Wow I'd be worried too! I hope you can get your meds in time!!

Ninde- Yes they do! After a while even the most comfortable shoe hurts! lol. If we get to, after our next countries we have lined up, we will go back. I know you were glad to be back home, that's how I feel if I'm around so many for so long. Fingers crossed for you on Wed!!

Kynlee- I will get some pictures up later today I hope. Time sure is going by quick for you and I'm so glad!! Staying busy is definitely the key, but glad you got some much needed relaxation!

Leora- We went on an express trip. The have one to different places every weekend of the year. It is really nice. They do the driving and we sit back and relax on the nice bus.....no way I'd EVER attempt to drive or let my husband drive in Paris, no lanes!! Scary! We just needed to take it easy but tried to get as much in as we could. We do it again for our Holland trip, but doing a boat bus hop pass there. Now that we know what to expect. After this we will do other ones with a place that stays with you most of the time as tour guide. It would definitely be helpful. I do have cousins some where in France but my Dad couldn't get a hold of them before we left. I hope AF comes on soon for you!! Mine decided to come back after 5 days of being gone, due to all that walking.

Blue- i'm exhausted just reading about your marathon! Proud of you for setting a new personal best!! Go girl.

Sunshine- praying peace and comfort for you! We are here for you when you come back!

We- /jealous of your cruise! Have so much fun and get some rest!

Gina- also/jealous of your Paris trip! Wish you could have had more time though! Vow to do it again!

Ninde- I am feeling pretty good! Thank you for asking. I'm on day 3 of stims and here's the weird thing, i'm already feeling stuff going on in my ovaries! I know that has to be strange but I really do feel it. This is my first time on menopur though, last time was only follistim and lupron. This time its lupron/follistim/menopur a.m. follistim/menopur p.m. so lots of shots etc!

Leora- good you guys are talking through your issues! How are you feeling? I need to go back and see about your cruise, I was mia when you went :(

I know I've missed people. I suck at this so much but please know when I read everyones posts i'm praying for each of you!

Adkelp- It took a long time for me to be able to run a full 1/4 mile :D

Leora- Too funny. I used to think that way too. Now I look forward to finding a new run to be a part of. It becomes a personal challenge. The running has been really good for me. I have good days and bad days.

I never answered you when you asked what I do as a speech language pathologist. In the middle school setting, I work with students who have speech sound disorders like a lisp or distorted /r/. Most of my kids have language learning disorders and have a real hard time processing auditory information, following directions, learning new vocabulary, and following along with grade level curriculum. I spend a lot of time teaching teachers how to change the material to meet the needs of the students. I also work with kids with autism and the deaf/hard of hearing kids. The job really depends on the setting. I have worked in both the medical and school settings along with private practice. We basically work on speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.

Christy- I miss you and am a little worried. It's not like you to take a sudden break. I hope you are ok.

AFM- The headache is back. It sucks. Gonna go to be soon.

Today is Day 1 with shots. I started taking Gonal F 187.5 units, Menopur 75 units (1 vial of powder), Omnitrope 0.25 units (eight days of treatment), and Dexamethasone 1mg tab daily.
This is my 1st time taking Omnitrope. Has anyone taking it before? Any side effects?
I did acupuncture on Friday & this morning! He also did some hypnosis as well. Just to really relax my mind & body for this process! I am very excited this 3rd time around!
DH was results came back good! All hormone levels are where they should be.. Feeling very hopefully!

I love reading all your stories & wonderful advice.
