IVF weekend?

Hi I have been undergoing fertility treatments for the last six months. My DH and I have had four failed IUIs and we just did our first IVF earlier this month. My AF came yesterday morning. Devistating to say the least but I honestly didn't think it would work from the beginning, I was just holding out hope. My clinic has something they call "IVF weekend". As soon as we decided to go through with IVF, they started me on birthcontrol, which I have heard of before. But they stated many times, they were trying to get me on schedule for their IVF weekend. When I inquired, they told me that they try to get all of their IVF patients on the same schedule for the same weekend. The entire time, I felt like they were moving too quickly for my body. We have male factor infertility, so we were told that should an embryo look good, that our chances were great. Both my husband and I are under 30 and healthy. I'm wondering if other clinics have "IVF weekends" or if this is something out of the norm the my clinic does for their convenience. Any help or explanations of what other clinics have done leading up to retrieval and transfer would be great. I do realize that IVF can fail for many reasons but I'm just trying to decide if maybe I should look to a new clinic or stay where I'm at. Thanks!
