Hi Heather and everyone,
I was so sorry to hear your story! What I HATE is being another statistic

.
I know all about Dr's too, I am 31 and they are always telling me I am still very young.... plenty time
My worst experience I had with a clinic was shortly after the B had given me OHS which as you all know damaged my kidneys. I was told by my Dr's that I couldn't carry a child after that, so we got a surrogate and went back to the B clinic (our embies were there). We had to do councelling and I think the clinic was expecting us to sue them. The counceller came out and in the middle of the waiting room, in front of about 10 people shouted at me. He told me my attitude was unacceptable and I should know the proticle of things. He then went on to call me 'Miss Leicester' in a very sarcky way (I don't even live in Leicester, I live in Nottingham). I was very bitter with the clinic for what they did and after that, I was demented. I cried for weeks and begged DH to consider sueing them.... but DH is in the medical proffession and said being a Prof. we would never get anywhere

I know we wouldn't, but I just can't believe a clinic can get away with what they did
At least my kidney's have recovered, but a pg will still be quite risky because of what happened. I can't help wonder if that is why the Dr's are dragging their feet
Heather, I must say, this board has helped me beyond belief.
Take care
Tessa
