we werent blessed with our babies to raise here but we our blessed with our grandaughter
and all of our many adopted and foster children that touch our lives
and i am glad to add that our 6th grandchild will be born this spring!!!!

Speech's back! 
Good weekend but didn't start very well - we had gone about 80km when we realised we had left our niece's present in the Algarve!!!!!! Came back and started all over again!
The ceremony was ok althoug i do have a lot of issues with the roman catholic church and the way they say things... She's grown so much and her brother too!!!
Gained the two kilos i had lost last week but i can't help myself, the food's really good so i'm back to square one!

Oh Rita, what a bummer having to drive all that distance to go back and get the present. Don't you hate it when that happens. Glad everything went well though and I think it is ok to indulge occasionally....it's good for the soul! That's my excuse anyway. 
A date night Becky. What a wonderful idea. I guess you need to do that occasionally...with all those kids you and DH probably wouldn't get much alone time. Have a really pleasant night and enjoy all that yummy Mexican food.
We had 3 Aboriginal boys in the office today, we had brought them to town for some psychological testing so the poor buggers had to hang around the office all day until their ride came to pick them up. They live in a residential type facility rather than with foster carers which is a bit sad. They are all brothers and the youngest one kept fighting with the oldest who was threatening to hit him. As we can't see into the kids play room from the office I told him (jokingly) to just scream really loudly if he needed some help. Well, I must say that I am now the least popular person in the office as this kid spent the afternoon screaming his lungs out...mostly because he was bored. I thought it was quite funny because he was a really cute kid and he was just having some fun. I don't know how you do it Becky, and Rita for that matter....they leave me alone with the kids for 10 minutes and they run rampant!

i am thinking about taking the younger ones camping on sunday and monday..
