First time

Post by scooby »

:? hi im new to this board and i have just had icsi for the first time. My eggs were transferred back last thursday and am feeling really emotional. Before they were put back my breasts were sore and now the soreness has gone. Is this a good or bad sign. Im a born worrier and my husband thinks im getting paronoid. Because i had so many follicles i was advised to drink 3-4 litres a day, when can I stop this?

Can anyone put my mind at rest???

thanks

Scooby, feeling emotional is common throughout tmt, from the preparation, tmt itself and especially now, during the 2 week wait (2ww). There are lots of people also waiting to take their test. Have look over on the General Forum. You'll see a list called June test dates which show just how many are about to test (add a post with your date and have yourself put on). There is also a thread called May 2ww which is where everyone undergoing treatment right now chats. You'll find lots of support and understanding there.

Re. your symptoms. They vary from person to person, I've had sore boobs and got a +ve result, conversely, I've had no symptoms at all but still got a +ve. There's no absolute rule.

3-4 litres sounds like a lot but you know what your clinic told you. Why not call and ask how long you must do this for? it must incapacitate you + keep you tied to a loo!

Good luck
