What is the waiting time for a consultation?? and what is the max amt of emies they will transfer

I am currently with the ARGC - this is first treatment with them.
I had to wait 6 weeks for a consultation appointment, though this might be more now because of the HFEA's brochure.
They are very thorough and you need to be totally committed as at one point they will have you doing a blood test every morning and sometimes again in the afternoon for 14 days.
They will only transfer 2 embryos if you are under 40 and more if 40+. This is actually a guideline set down to all clinics so they have to adhere to it.
Be prepared for the cost - they are certainly not the cheapest.
