Early Implantation or just hormones?

I have been ttc#2 for 7 months. My last period was September 6th. My usualy cycle lasts 32 days and I ovulate on the 16th. This month, I took 150 mgs of clomid on day 3-7 and ovulated on day 8 or 9. In all 14 years of having a period, I have NEVER spotted, not even with my first pregnancy. This morning, I noticed very light spotting. Is this from a hormone change, drop in estrogen rise in progesterone, level 500, or could it be implantation bleeding? Today is day 12 of my cycle, doctor said to expect my period on day 22 if I am not preg. Thanks for your insight!

Welcome to the site..
I think the spotting could be implantation bleeding as you say you ovulated on day 8 or 9..
