Joy,

I am in the Joliet area. Congratulation on your BFP!!! What Dr do you go to? It seems like everything is going great with you. I'm not sure if I want to change DR's as they have all of my results and the more we try, the better off we are.

I have gone to the Advanced fertility clinic
My cousin is an OB and he reccomended them.
I love the nurses and everyone there. So far things are going good. I am still scared because of the previous miscarriage.
How many cycles have you gone through? Are you doing IUI or IN-Vitro?
Love
Joy

I have gone thur 1 IVF and 1FET. The IVF failed and the FET was a positive and then 3 days later it was negative. Im concerned about changing clinics because I know that my DR has all my info and we are getting close. I am looking into shared risk as my ins doesn't cover this. We are paying for it all. Any suggestions??
Thanks Joy!!

i was just typing a long reply and got kicked out...... :x

so jackieg-

i live in lake in the hills...heard of it?? we are far northwest of chicago... currently we are going through Dr karande and assoc in hoffman estates.... he's ok, but i think that i just knew a lot about me, and knew the cycle i wanted, but the nurses are great... we were going though infertility centers of illinois, dr moise... they were good, and gave us two sons, but the drives downtown were killer...

i think that joy's clinic has the best rates in the state and they do shared risk, as we were looking into them.... i;m not good to know if gurnee is way far from you... sorry here is there web site..
http://www.advancedfertility.com/ivf.htm

i've heard that the shared risk is good, but there are a lot of qualifications, they too are listed on the web site... i think that since you got a +ive you are in the right direction.... i do not know if you have anymore frosties, but if you do, it might make it harder to change...

sorry, i blabbed..... sometimes i can just go on and on..... hope that some of the info can help...

have you looked at the CDC website that shows the success rates?? they are from 2002, but interesting!!

Hey Ladies

Post by Babysoft »

Glad to see everyone getting to know each other.

I'm finally starting my IUI. I went to the doctors today for my first scan and to get my script for the meds. My doctor is telling me to start doing urine test on day 12 of my cycle...I personally think that is kind of late because my cycles are usually only 23 to 25 days away. Does anyone have any advice for suggestions?

I'm going to Vegas this weekend, so hopefully this vacation will relieve some of this stress. Good luck to everyone and lots of PMA!!! :P

Baby soft only u know ur body... so i guess then i would parhaps test early. Are u having scan on day 12 too???

i have my scan on day 10 then see what size follys are, from then they can tell when to start weeing on that stcik!!

I have always started testing on day 12, first IUI it was day 14 and 2nd
IUI it was day 12.

every one is different, so just follow what your body says?? Checking CM is good too. x x

Hi I'm Katie from New Jersey. I'm about 10 minutes outside of NYC. I hope to complete a FET Adoption on Monday Oct. 10.

I don't post as often as I did this summer...after my last neg I decided to concentrate on work....hoping to keep my sanity while trying to achieve a healthy pregnancy. I'll pop in and out from time to time. This is a wonderful idea Babysoft.

Hi Everyone,
This was a great idea to start this thread!

I'm in central NJ - about 1 hour from both NYC/Philly.

Sending lots of good wishes out to everyone.
