hi

do you think we should start a new thread.I think we should all put our tmt on, so that we can catch up with everyone.

I have just had a failed tmt with blastocyst, the embryos did not make it to day five.i have had two goes at icsi,(hb has low sperm count) one of those goes was on a egg donation scheme. went to the clinic last week for follow up appointment and when hb sperm is washed it is quite good, so they want us to do another swim up test to see if we can go for super ovulation. if not then we are going down the donor route with iui.

well those four years of tmt seem so easy when you write them down like that. as you all know the road has been hard but we will get there in the end.i'm positive that we will get pg.

hope everyone is well and look forward to catching up with you all.

from

july ann
been in tmt for 4 years.Male factor. Have had 3 icsi, one ivf with donor sperm.Went for fet with 7 eggs but none made it to blastocyst. just had 5 DI. test date 27 july

Hi Lissa & July Ann - that's the spirit, you have to believe that you will do it, or else you wouldn't be trying! As we all know, to get pg naturally is a complete lottery anyway so for us it's no different.

Stay positive, move on to the next treatment and appreciate the things we have already which some people don't have (health, great husbands/partners, etc).

In the middle of our 2nd ICSI attempt at the moment - ec probably beginning of July. I have to admit I'm calmer this time - the first time I really expected it to work for some reason whereas this time I know it's just a simple matter of luck once all our defective bits and bobs have been put into the right place!!

Lots of Love to everyone at whatever stages you're at!! Stay++. Jo.X

Just popping in from the other side - all our threads have disappeared again and I set one up specially for you yesterday Jo!!
Good luck to you all - July Ann and Lissa - I am very sorry but totally impressed with the PMA! It does get easier to handle the tmt as the unknown becomes the "got that tshirt and singing knickers!".
The disappointment does not necessarily become harder - you will have dark moments but I took each TMT at a time and was pretty relaxed for this last one - 4th go and BINGO - 8 weeks and one day today.
JO - keep it up girl and you should test around my birthday on the 15th July so nice pressie for me please!
Good luck and take care
Love
Tracey
xxxx

Havent posted for a while due to the board's problems.

July ann and Lissa - so sorry you have had bad news - but you both seem to be strong and wise women, I am so impressed with how positive you are.

Helen, just to say best of luck for tomoz - I'd say that if you are having AF pains still then that is definitely a good sign. I was due to test on the Saturday morning, but felt so completely shit on the Friday (sore boobs, terrible period pains, foul mood) that /i was convinced it hadnt worked. So had a couple of fags, couple of glasses of wine and a big cry - but when I tested it was positive. So if you still feel AF ish, could be good news, stay positive and it will work for you!
Sally

Me - severe endo, DH - poor sperm. First IVF ICSI Nov 02 neg. Second IVF/ICSI May 03 Positive.

Hello
Well i am 8 days into 2ww after having our 1st go at IUI, we had ICSI back in 2000 but was neg have been ttc for nearly 11 years, due to low count which with the help on zinc has now gone up so much we only need iui, so fingers crossed not too much longer to try !!! i hope anyway.
We have got another 3 goes after this one if it doesn't work but am trying to stay positive not so easy though.
I am using the pesseries so i cant test till they stop and that is not till 28th which means my 2ww is more like 18dw really not happy about that, might sneak a hpt around day 15 but not sure i am brave enough will have to c how i feel nearer to next week, have had a few af pains but nothing really bad and they have gone now so not sure what to make off them.
anyway i will stop rabbling
good luck to everyone out there on or off 2ww and like the others have said a positive attitude can only help us in the long run.
love lou xxxx

Hi Girls
Have been ttc for just over 3 years. Me PCOS, DH normal. We had e/t last Friday and I'm now on day 5 of the 2ww. Feel completely fine...no side effects yet. This is my second attempt at IVF, first attempt resulted in a pregnancy but nothing developed in the sac...that was a nightmare as you can imagine. Anyway trying to keep up all the PMA possible....though I must confess I swing from feeling dead positive to dead negative. Have taken this week off sick (naughty me!) and am looking rather tanned! But where the hell was the sun today - hope that we haven't had the good weather for the week.
Anyway wishing us all the luck in the world. Helen best of luck for tomorrow.
Love, Michelle x
