Hello,
My DH and I just got the news on 12/30 that our 1st IVF cycle was a bust. I am 41 and DH is 43. I had 11 follicles, with 6 mature at retrieval. My RE was only able to retrieve 3 eggs. 3 follicles were empty. Has anyone experienced this? We were able to transfer 2 - 5 day blastocysts. We are trying to decide what to do next. If we can increase the egg production, maybe that will help increase the success rate if we tranfer more than 2 embryos.
We have also done 2 gonal-f with IUI cycles previously. I have low FSH.
