Hi girlies :D

finally pulled myself off the sofa, the pukiness has receded a bit for today, gets worse in the evenings....

I still do knicker checks, had light brown discharge (very little but I am paranoid)after last 2 exams (she felt womb neck and also did vaginal U/S) apparently this is quite normal. So knicker checks are absolutely the norm sweeties.

Chrissy you and Denise make me laarf - for God`s sake make a date for a ginger ale next time   I wih I had someone near me (or even in the same country!) who was in the same boat..thnak God for you all you do make me smile 8) 8)

Hey Lav, well done on the wave, we got a wiggle on Tuesday which was 8 weeks 6 day but showed 9 weeks on the "machine" weetie is 2,28cm that eans you me and Denise have the same DD more or less oooohhhhhh please God let us all get that far..orry you have some ikky discharge to come...my failed implantations showed on the first 2 scan and they said I might bleed, but nothing came out and they have disappeared now....

hi Kagome, glad you are sick   I had loads of cramping from 6-8 weeks. my doctor prescribed me 300mg /day magnesium, hich after a few day really helped. Everything I read said this i totally normal. Talk to your doc about the magnesium, this can help throughout the pregnancy and insufficiency is very common. Bananas are good but there is a limit to ho many bananas a girl can eat ithout throwing up    Good luck with your scan,

Dizzie and bel, good luck to you too sweeties, I live from week to eek, and while waiting for each scan am convinced I am not pg anymore...

I wonder if that ever goes away in the 1st trimester..probably not.

LP and smita, thanks so much for caring, will try and post more, promised..hugs to you big belly babes!!!

Love and kisses bigJ 8) 8)

Jules, fantastic to hear from you, glad all is well.

I'm being transferred to an ob/gyn within the next few weeks, so hopefully I know shortly when my next scan is. I worry about these bubs as I've been so sick. I'm still losing weight, but I've managed to slow it down, thank goodness.

Now that I've seen my darlings, we're starting to tell some people. The general concensus people seem to have is that its a good thing I don't know what work one baby is, or two would blow my mind! lol.

Anyways, hope you all have a great day.

Lav - any idea when you go for your next scan?

Hi there....loving my new nickname 'Lav' - it seems oh so appropriate right now when I feel like sticking my head down the toilet quite often!

Denise - Yes, now have a date for the next one, and already time is dragging by! It's going to be Tues 31st Jan at 9am, when I will (hopefully) be 12wks, 1day. I can't wait. If all's well then, I will let rip to the world!!!...Baby news that is...although in saying that, these Cyclogest do play havoc with the old flatulance huh?!

So sorry to hear you've been so sick that you're losing weight, but glad to hear things look good in there.x. I feel huge already, although maybe some of that is because my ovaries are still huge - the left one so big in fact that they had to take two seperate measurements as it wouldn't fit on one screen!

Anyway, off to work now  Catch up soon.

Love n hugs to all

congrats on seeing your sweetie Kagome, glad you are getting lots of scans...counting the days til the next one.

they have been controlling my beta hcg weekly and it's been 108,000 for two weeks in a row now. Apparently it peaks from weeks 8-10 and then starts falliing to stabilise at week 14 so hopefully the ickiness will ease off. I have been very lucky with feeling queasy but no vomiting, maybe the extra rest and mega vits I have taken for the hwole year have helped? (patrick Holford is my bible)..

sorry about the "Lav" Lav, didn't occur to me.... in German it's Klo....

love and hugs to all of us

Hi Nicky
Don't forget we're here for you, sweetie x x x

Hi Everyone
Don't post much anymore but glad to see all scans going well. Had all the same worries you have had, glad to see we're normal. Had scan at 13 weeks and 3 days yesterday and all is well. Our little one looked beautiful, didn't wave but jumped about a bit, saw heartbeat. I guess I will move over to 2nd trimester friends now.
Take care all of you and see you when you get there!

Hi everyone,

I haven't posted here since the beginning of Jan although I've really enjoyed reading all your news. Sounds like everyone is doing really well, so let's keep it that way!

Dh and I are in the middle of what seems like the longest wait ever until our next scan, which will be on Jan 28th. Sorry to say, but a little green-eyed devil has been lurking around as I've been reading about your scans, dear friends. Is it my twisted imagination or have you guys been having quite a few - i.e. more than one scan, in the first trimester? I know I'm not alone in worrying about what's happening to beany in there, but I'm not sure that I'm happy about waiting for a scan for so long when technically I've had 3 m/cs before.

Anyway, despite the green eyed monster, it is fantastic to hear your scan stories...jumping beanies, waving beanies... guess we'll just have to live vicariously until the end of the month, so keep the stories coming!

love to you all,
Caroline

Caroline
I had a scan in 7th week and then 13th week, try not to worry too much but I know what you mean, wish I was like Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, they've got their own ultra sound and can look at their baby whenever they like!!!!
