I'm new to this site. Not yet started IVF, waiting to see the Consultant in hopefully Feb sometime.
Is there anyone on this site whos is about to embark or who has just started their first IVF who wouldn't mind keeping me posted on how they are doing. I'm a great listener and hopefuly become friends. I truly would appreciate the insite into this experience.

I had my 1st IVF cycle last year and now hoping to start my next cycle in Feb / Mar 2006 after a holiday in Australia. I know you must feel nervous..but don't worry. Try and stay calm. I have been so inspired after reading the notes from all the girls. They are so supportive.
Many have been succesful the 1st time and some have been successful with more trys. I guess it depends to some extent on luck. I am sure there will be light at the end of the tunnel for all of us.

Me=37, Hubby=42 (Male and Female factor)
3 IVFs -July 05 -ve, May 06 (OHSS), May 08 -ve
2 FETs - Dec 06 -BFP (MC) and June 07 -ve
4th IVF - fresh cycle - BFP :-) Beautiful DD is 4 yrs
5th IVF - Oct 13 - BFP - MC at 7 weeks :(
6th IVF - June / July 14
I can empathise with you. You must be feeling anxious and excited at the same. It's great when you can finally start the treatment as you have something to work towards then. I had a cancelled IVF cycle in November. I overstimulated (had about 50 follies) and they couldn't do the EC. It was really disappointing but time has flown by and I'll be starting to down-reg on 15 Jan for the next cycle.

Welcome! Like you I'll be embarking on my first treatment sometime this year (May/ June??)and in one way can't wait but on the other hand I'm nervous, apprehensive, scared, the lot!! I know how you feel.
