Good evening girls... today has not been a good day. The nerves are definitely setting in and it doesn't help that I feel like my AF is coming... After 18 months TTC, I am to the point that I feel like I will never see a BFN. I am sure this is normal, I'm just feeling a little hopeless tonight. Guess we'll have to see on Monday.

I am going to try my best with the "personals"...if I do miss anyone though - please don't be offended!!

babyhope1, Good luck with the ER on Monday. Don't be too disappointed with the follies, it just takes one egg! Best wishes to you that everything goes well and keep us posted!

Julesg & waiting for 4, Welcome to the board. Try your best to make it through the 2WW, you can do it - as I have heard, just try and keep busy. I'm sure it helps but it's still gotta be nerve-wrecking!

Lady_J & Jill, I am in the same boat as you guys, I haven't been feeling too great either & I am sure stress isn’t helping much. I did the sinucleanse (a neti pot) and I swear by it, it works wonders!

Robin & Karen, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months! :)

As far as I go, I went in for b/w and another U/S today. I was instructed after the results came back to go completely off my Bravelle tonight and just take the Menopur as my estrogen levels were over 2000. My follicles are anywhere from 18-15 for the most part. There are some smaller ones but, I have over 20 so, I guess it's nothing to worry about. I have to go in again tomorrow for more b/w and an u/s to check on how I responded to getting rid of the Bravelle. I honestly feel like they're talking greek to me when they're explaining all this stuff but, I trust them in that they know what they're doin! They said providing that the b/w and u/s come back as they hope/expect it to, I'll do the HCG on Sunday and go in for the ER on Tuesday. I am glad it's finally getting to be that time!

Well, good luck to everyone, keep up the PMA & I'll always be praying for all of us as well as try to continue to keep up with this busy board as much as possible! :D

hi ladies...well just home from work and about to head out for dinner and the new james bond movie....it'll be fun if i dont' get too tired and pass out!

..i am revelling in my new pregnant 'status'- i've told close friends and family but don't like anyone 'gushing' over me- i don't think i'll feel confident til i make it to several months along! and i get a little annoyed with people who assume 'everything will be fine' just cause i 'm like 4 and a half weeks pg...but i guess that's their experience and they mean well

robin- i'm so delighted from your news...i'll catch up with everyone else later, as must run
will post more later, much love, karen

Rhonda - Yes, keep the faith on those 2 embies. Most people transfer 2 anyway so it's not over! Just keep hoping & praying. Good luck on the ET!
havbaby - Good luck with the HCG shot on Sunday. ER is just around the corner!
Karen - Thanks for your best wishes. I totally know what you mean about not being comfortable until after a few months. We told my Mom and DH's parents tonight but that's it. We are going to wait until the next b/w on Monday before telling our brothers. And that's going to be it. I'm too nervous and it feels too surreal to start telling the world yet. The way I figure it most people who get pregnant the natural way probably wouldn't even know yet so know one else needs to know now. I'm sure I'll be itching to tell people soon enough. For now I just want to make sure everything's going in the right direction, you know?
me 38: no problems

IVF #1 (Nov 08 ): BFP! - 2 xfer'd, 4 cyro. Ended in M/C at 8 weeks.
FET #1 (Mar 09): BFN - 2 xfer'd, 2 left.

Robin - Congrats on your BFP!!! There's lots on this cycle...hope it keeps coming.

tohavefun - I'm praying for a miracle for you. ((((HuGS))))

jandc33 - Good luck with your stims!

mrscutter - Good luck in the morning.

havbaby - ER is right around the corner, best wishes!

I'm still going nuts here in the 2WW. Did anyone with BFP's really "feel" pregnant or did you have doubts about the cycle. Did you have any signs/symptoms of pregnancy?
TTC for over 4 years
HSG - tubes okay
DH semen analysis - good
Multiple clomid rounds and IUI - no sucess
On meds for first IVF attempt

hi all.

amanda the only symptom i've had is unusual fatigue, not all the time, but not 'normal'. like having a low grade flu. keep your pma...miracles can happen to anyone at anytime, so why not you? :D
same for you ny :D ..i look forward to hearing positive news from your betas

jdc hold the faith for 1 more follie to make up your four! give them a bit more time to grow..is the next u/s sunday?
prayin- i've been an acne sufferer throughout my life also..was on acutane 1x...it did flare up with stims, but i was just prepared with my tea tree oil and medicated gels (which i can't use now due to vitamin a content)- so hope for the best but have a plan.

foreverlove nice to hear from you :D ladyj glad to hear those follies are working for you ..and babyhope- WOW! er monday, that's awesome. and havbaby over 20 follies is amazing. i'll send you positive energy for your ER

jules, waiting, looking forward to your betas too :D and waiting- many women have absolutely NO signs at this stage so please don't be discouraged in advance..and rhonda- i got pg my last cycle with only 2 follies.....so be available for amazing things cause you never know-2 was all i produced too! - they both fertilized and i got pg..and having my m/c later was unrelated to anything IF.

i think we are on a roll. and ny- i had those kinds of thoughts too about 'being the one to even out the stats', but maybe it doesn't have to be that way...like the power of a group- the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts, and maybe as a group we are summoning baby energy and love from a higher power...stats don't apply to miracles. hope i don't sound crazy; cause i do believe that.
welcome jandc33- good luck with er next week!

chris- how are you? and hi to gina - hang on in this 2 ww.

much love, karen.. ps. new james bond was good[/b]

Gosh Nov 17 is going to be our big day. I can't believe all the BFP's we are seeing on this board.

Ny4thtry - I would be thinking the same way. With all the BFP's we have already, there has to be a chance of a BFN whammy really soon. I don't wish a BFN on anyone but it isn't going to be you. This is your time, you have done so much to get this far that you are going to get your BFP. If not I am going to be really really pissed off. :D

Melo - Much Hope- NY4thtry- & waitingfor4- Wishing you all the best of luck with your betas on Monday.

Rhonda - I know you are disappointed that you only have 2 embies. That is defiantly frustrating. I could tell you that it only takes one, but that is probably not what you want to hear. You still have a good shot. I have seen lots of ladies only transfer 2 and get their BFP. There is no reason why you can't be another one of those ladies. Good luck on your transfer and don't go to crazy in your 2WW.

I will have to catch up more later. I have been awake since 6 am and didn't go to bed till 1 so I need to take a nap. I am slowly getting some PMA back. i still don't want to get my hopes up but then I re-read this online psychic prediction that I got in September after my last BFN. in this prediction it stated that she was seeing September, she didn't know if it was the conceive month, announcement or birth but she was just seeing September. Well if I am on the track that I am going then more then likely if I get a BFP with this cycle I will give birth in September. i will probably be on Lupron for another 2 weeks which doesn't put ER and ET till the beginning to middle of December. i really don't believe in predictions too much but I guess we all have to get some PMA from somewhere. it was also weird because it said that I would have a boy and that he would work in the grocery business. well Dh is currently working as a manager for a local grocery store so I thought that was some kind of connection. I didn't tell the psychic anything about me or DH before the reading. O'well, we will see. i am still trying not to get my hopes up because I am so so tired of being let down. Thought I would just let you gals know what I was thinking.

hi chris :D i'm happy to hear about your thoughts; i can empathize with you even though i'm on the other side of it now. it's funny how we can find comfort and hope in the smallest of signs- i had a fortune cookie say 'children will be a big part of your life'- and i totally believed it was a sign...i didn't even want to take a cookie cause i was particularly bitter that day and had a classA meltdown at work about not being pregnant. sooo, normally i don't hold much rank in a fortune coookie- but that time i did. just like your psychic thing.

there's a reason why you've persevered this far..and maybe it's cause you're going to end up with a baby from it. i have a friend who did about 8 iui and 4 ivf's over 9 years, now has a 2yr old from her last ivf. her advice to me was 'never give up'.

i hope the next month or so flies by for you so this feels less torturous.

Hi everyone,

Post by Marynaz »

I was here around my last IVF cycle so I recognize some of you from then. I am in my 2ww now and have my first beta on Monday. I had some bleeding since las night but I still got weak bfp on HPT. I promised myself not to do HPT this time but I couldn't hold myself since I do have so many of them at home. It feels so good to see the double line even if it is very faint line :) If I get BFP it will be my first ever BFP. I want to wish luck and babydust for all of you and Congrat to Karen & Robin

NY4thtry, keep the faith. I am so hopeful that this is your time. You deserve it and must be so anxious about Monday. I wanted to POAS but fought the urge. I just got tired of not seeing the pink lines so I held off. Do whatever works for you. I can't wait to hear your results either way!

Hi Jandc33, welcome! I'm sure you'll find this board as great as I did. It sounds like you went through a traumatic first cycle. With your upcoming ER next week, hopefully you'll have lots of good fertilized eggs again. Will you do your ET earlier this time?

Rhonda, so sorry you had disappointing news earlier. I only had 3 fertilized embies, and 2 were lower grades. It can happen with one. Wishing the best for you and keep us posted.

Waiting for 4, sorry you're having a hard time. I know it's easier to say, but try to take it easy and don't stress too hard. I swore I wasn't pregnant during my 2ww. Will be thinking of you on Monday and waiting to hear more.

Havbaby, you have great numbers, and now you've finally almost made it to ER. That wait can seem like forever. I know what you mean about them talking greek. I try to educate myself as much as possible by asking questions and googling everything, but sometimes it's way too much to comprehend. Best wishes next week!

Karen, revel all you want, you deserve it. I'll have to check out the new Bond flick. DH loves Bond. Thanks to you and Chris again for keeping up with all of our info and updates.

Amanda, hang in there. That 2ww is hard, it's all you can do not to count every hour of every day. I still went to work, but found my mind wandering and on this board half the time. It's no wonder I'm not fired yet! Anyway, in answer to your question, I was convinced that I wasn't pregnant, never thought it was going to happen for me. The only sign I had was sore bb's but thought it was the progesterone, and some fatigue lately. It can happen even when you convince yourself it won't.

Chris, I've often wanted to see a psychic. It's interesting that your reading said you'd have a son in the grocery business and that's what your DH does. She wouldn't have known that huh? You could very well get your BFP by September. Hopefully staying on the Lupron another couple of weeks will get your levels where they need to be so you can get started. I agree with Karen about your perseverance. I've often heard that good things come to those who wait, and so many of us have definitely waited long enough to deserve those good things.

Marynaz, so it sounds like you got a BFP on the HPT? That's a great sign, especially if your beta test is Monday. Good luck to you!

Melo and Much hope, best of luck to you too on Monday! It looks like Monday is a big day.

Hey everyone,

Just stopping by to say good luck on Monday to everyone who is having their beta's..... I will be crossing my fingers for you all.

To Have Fun Psychics are spooky arent they??? I once had a reading. I was about 22 at the time and one of the things she said was i would have kids much later in life. That upset me at the time as i thought no way I'm ready now!!!!!. Just goes to show!!!!!!

Anyway got to hustle as we are also going to see the Bond movie tonight, grab some mexican food and hit the tequila!!!! (last few weeks before stims so i intend to enjoy tonight!!!!)

well,
I am in the 2ww as of today. They did transfer 2 embies. i dont know what grades mean, but one of them was grade A- with cell 8 (comp) and the other one was grade B with cell 7. The RE said that is very good. She says i now have 80 percent chance for a take home baby. I was was shocked when she said that. I was given 10 percent chance at the start of this and now she tells me 80 percent. She said making it to the point of transfer is where most women my age fail so now that i made it to transfer and the grade is good i have 80 percent. she even joked and said "now i dont take bad teenagers back". oh i hope it works. I am off work for seven days so nothing but rest for me.

chris,
I really hope everything works out for you. I am so praying for you. looking at the boards alot of people are getting bfp. i hope you are one of them.

Everyone,
Good luck to you. We are all in this journey together. you all are my lifeline to information and encouragment. take care.
