Dys...Yayyy! 18 is great! Rest up! Keep us updated when you've rested up! Drink your gatorade.

Lauren1171...Congrats PUPO!!! You are sooo gonna be having twins!

Teresa...Zach has his own toy computer. lol Sorry about your back...glad you're going to the chirpractor. I went last week to get all put back in again. Feel better soon.

Lou...40% chance of twins is awesome! Very exciting. Thanks for the advice...the burn is getting much better already. Oh wow Lou...your blasts look beautiful!!!

Fitz...Good Luck tomorrow!!! Baby Dust!

Lauren319...How did ER go today? Praying for lots of good quality eggs.

Ester...I hope you get to start your ganerilix on time and dont run into the school year. You might find another blood lab near by that opens at 6am so you're not late for class. I use a lab closer to home personally.

Klinger...that's an awesome jump in beta!!! Sending lots of prayers for your beta Thursday.

Didi...Yayy for seeing your little baby...you'll see the hb next time I'm sure. Good Luck on Wednesday! How's the rash now?

Cakes...How are you doing? Are you going to poas?

Sunshine...What's new? How are you feeling?

Sher...How are you doing? You've been in my thoughts. I personally call it a miscarriage, but I think the technical term is that it's actually a chemical pregnancy. Either way...it still sucks. Good luck on your upcoming cycle and keep us posted with everything.

Margi...Praying hard. Keep us posted on Friday.

Karin...your posts always make me smile. Thanks. And, keep testing...you never know.

Tiger...I love dress shopping and planning weddings. After my wedding...everyone said I missed my calling. lol Are you gonna poas Sunday? Ooo soo exciting!

Ryann...AF arrive yet? Where is that ugly beotch when you need her?! I'm sending her in the mail to you...since I cant dance right now and am flat on my back. lol

Miyaya...Good Luck with everything and hope to see you around and hear updates on everything. Keep us posted.

Chili...Yayyy for meds! Glad your trip was nice except for the mosquitoes.

Franny...hope you're having fun! Did you wave to me as you bypassed Cleveland? lol Missing you.

Kbillsy...What's new? How's the 2ww going?

Amanda1979...How are you doing? Glad that you have a great plan in place! Good Luck and hope you stick around to keep us updated on you.

Missmerrilee...AF here yet? Sending her fed ex...keep your eyes open!

Annashope...I'm just so so sorry. Big Hugs.

Rebecca...Any sign of AF? I wonder where she is hiding?

Jenny...guess what? We transferred 4, too!! Are you going to poas?

Thanks Katie and Claudia for checking in on all of us.

AFM: We transferred 4...yes..4 embryos today!!! An 8 cell, 7 cell, 6 cell, and 4 cell. The 4 cell was the lagger but picking up speed and is definitely the prettiest of them all. The other 2 were doing so poorly that the doc didnt think they make it through the night. So we arent freezing any and have put all the average ones back. None were great...just okay.

I'm feeling pretty deflated tonight. I went in there today expecting to have to convince the doc to put all 4 back in...and he actually suggested it. He said with all 4 ...we only have a 25% chance of a singleton, 5% chance of twins, and less than 1% chance of more. I did acupucture before and after and will go back again on Thursday. All I can do at this point is to pray and pray hard. I guess my age really has caught up on me.

Baby Dust and Hugs to all...

Aww Tammy - I'm sorry you're feeling deflated! I really hope they're going to thrive now that they're where they need to be.

Lauren1171 & Tammy - I haven't even made it to IVF yet so no ER/ET for me. I joined the thread when we were going to do IVF but after all my tests came back ok, our RE felt optimistic about trying a couple rounds of IUI with injectables. Of course as soon as I ordered all the meds, I got pregnant naturally and it's just been a rough week of very low betas & prog and worry about another e/p (lost a tube and ovary to one in Feb.)

Lou - I really don't know what to make of it! The nurse was really optimistic about that leap but of course can't explain all the bleeding, cramping, low numbers, etc and of course can't rule out e/p yet. So we'll move on to Thursday's beta and hopefully as soon as it hits the 1500-1800 area, get an u/s to see if we can see anything - good or bad. We do have more hope than we had on Friday, that's for sure. And Lou, those are FABULOUS pics of your blasts! AMAZING!!!

UGHHHH!!!! Where is my post????? In spaceland!

Anyway, Hello Fam!

I see that everyone has some major life changes! I am so happy for the decisions that we are making. It is not easy to be us but I wouldnt have it no other way!

Okay Ladies, I need your input. I am 2dpt5dt and I am having major heartburn and cramping. Is this normal? Im drinking Smartwater and Gatorade, not much, as the RE placed me on bedrest for 3 days. Modified she called it. Driving me crazy. I will go back to work tomorrow. How long did you stay on bedrest and did it help with implantation?

Tammy, Im planning on POAS on Friday. I know it the 13th but I dont care. Do you think that is too soon?

Oh that's right Klinger...I forgot for a mere moment. Praying hard for you!! Keep us posted!

Cakes...Friday could be too early...just keep that in mind when testing. You'll be 6dp5dt...I got mine then...but it was really really light...like almost couldnt see it light...it was almost just a few hours too soon to test. So just keep that in mind and you'll be fine. If negative then try Saturday, then Sunday. Best of luck and keep us posted.

Hi Ladies,
Thanks for the warm welcome :)
dys24I haven't started cycle #2 just yet. I'm thinking positively that my RE doesn't give up on me and my old fart eggs and I'll start cycle #2 once AF comes. I'll find out what he suggests at my appt on Thursday. I started accupunture and the supplements just in case. My 1st protocol was antagonist with ganirelix. I have soooo many questions for him about alternate options due to my age and issues. Mini IVF maybe? I don't know - it's all so complicated. I'm so sorry that you are worried about OHSS-- I've been reading a lot about it lately. As if these cycles aren't difficult enough to go through you have to worry about this horrible condition. :x I hope your ER went well, you are at home getting some well deserved rest and of course peeing like crazy!!! :) I'll be thinking about you on ET day.

Moore I have a new RE now. RE #1 was arrested for 'medically inappropriate examinations' (Thankfully) he never did this to me. Long story short we took a long break after the chemical and then late last year we decided we'd better get this show on the road because I'm not getting any younger. I had misplaced the doc's number googled him and up pops a picture of him handcuffed. Several women filed a complaints against him as recently as 2009 but the complaints go as far back as 2000. He was referred by a friend, his waiting room was always full, decent numbers, baby pictures covering the walls. Nothing bad came up when I researched him way back in late 06. Now it all pops right up. I feel so stupid for not doing a detailed background check on him. In any case his office was closed and the phone disconnected by the time I found out. There must be a way to get my new records (maybe I can call the AMA or something) but my new RE decided it would be ok to take my history verbally and proceed without the old record and so I just decided to move on.

Tammy You are HI-larious! :) That one even cracked up my DH.
WOWEE, 4!!!!! Don't feel deflated. I'll be thinking about you and await those POAS results.

I'm off to a (very) dinner date with DH - more personals later.
Hugs and baby dust to all!!

Missmerrilee...ask your doc about the microdose lupron flare protocal. It's perfect for us older girls and those with DOR. That's nuts about your old doctor, wow! Glad you didnt have to go through more testing again. Enjoy your dinner tonight!

Hi girls,

e/r went smoothly and I'm not in any real pain. A little bit of cramping, no bleeding, but a very sore throat.

6 lovely, mature eggs and 1 immature. Cross your fingers.

YAY for being done! I want my babies.

Super sleepy. back to sleep.

Hi All,
Soo much good news I've been reading! 8) Alot of egg factories here!!! I went for accupuncture today. She gave me a new cocktail of "tea" mixture. She told me it would be "bitter" and it is. No worse than some of the rot gut coffee I've had at different events or those nasty Jager shots from my much younger days. We'll see how this works. The nurse finally called me to give me some approximate dates so I can tell the pharm when to ship the meds. She said I'll be starting the Lupron maybe around the 20th before my baseline. It's the microdose but I'm still not sure what this protocol is called. I also now I'll be on Follistim 450 and Menopure 250. Seems quite aggressive. Keeping my fingers crossed. I'll do personals next post so I dont lose this.
Love hugs and baby dust to all,

Hi ladies!

Lauren319...so glad your ER went well! As for the AF dance...I think you should probably be taking it easy!! How about some finger dancing, or mental dancing! I'll take what I can get at this point :)

missmerrilee...That is crazy about your old RE. How frustrating! It takes a lot of trust to have someone trying to get you pregnant, and for someone to take advantage of these women,,,,infuriating!!!!! Very glad you weren't one of them, but sorry about your records :(

cakes...wish I could help you out, but I haven't started yet and don't know what is "normal"!!!

tammy...don't feel deflated! Normal, healthy couples only have a 20% chance of getting pregnant each month...and look at how many people have babies!!! 25% is still great. Keep up the faith!!! And, no, no AF yet. Probably not until the weekend or next week I bet. I will keep checking the mail though!

lou...thanks for the info on menopur. I wonder if this is something I should ask about?? Or just get through my first cycle without questioning the doc?? Probably shouldn't question quite yet :) Your babies are beautiful!!! Just think...when you have your kids, you will be able to show them their very FIRST pictures!!! I was just tell DH about this and saying how cool I think it is that we get to see pics of our babies this early :) If there are any positives to going through this entire process...I def think that would be one of them :)

klinger...I'm sorry your betas are all over the place!!! I will continue to pray that this all turns out well for you.

dys...congrats on being PUPO!!! Can't wait to hear your report!

Lauren1171...congrats on being PUPO!!! What great news on all those perfect emryos!!!!

hopeforbabies...glad I'll have someone so close in cycle with me!! I'm watching all these ladies pass me right on by and getting jealous!!!! :) Thanks for the dance...still waiting though!

moorebaby...totally feel your pain with the beginning of the school year crap! I'm sure it will all work out though! Keep on growing those follies!!

Everyone else, hugs and baby dust!!!

Hi All,

Klinger- I'm so sorry for you. Don't know much about them but I hope it's not an EP. Good luck. I'm praying for you!

Tammy- Wow, that's quite a burn you got from that ice pack! I usually wrap them in a towel when I use them. I'm so happy about all your eggs!!! It's amazing!! I hope this 46 yr old does as well your 42 yr old ovaries! What protocol are you on? Get some rest now!

Lou- Your "kids" look great! :D :D I'm soo happy for you!!! Those are such great chances for success! Get lots of rest and don't be feeling pressured about anything. Everything will be fine!! I looked into your Accu clinic but the distance was just too far. It does sound like a great place though. Good luck to you!!!

Moore- What grade do you teach? Bet you can't wait to get back to all those little "angels"!

Karin- I'm so thrilled about your donor. She sounds perfect! :) The "tea" isn't so bad. No worse than some of the nasty coffee I've had over the years. It'll all be worth it in the end!! Good luck with your house!

I know I missing some of you but you are all in my thoughts and prayers!
