Well I just got my call with my beta and it is now 887. WOW I guess. My first beta was 11 days after transfer so today makes it 14. They said I will not go in for another beta until next week, and my ultrasound will be at the end of February. They said they like to wait until then so they can hear a heartbeat. Um that is the longest wait EVER.

I am not feeling so positive. After getting 2 freakin lines I see lines getting lighter or none at all. I guess the beta on the 20th will determine everything. Ahhh these sticks are very evil =] Possible chem or early miscarriage?

Well ladies, thanks for the well wishes. When I got the RE they said their machine was down so I would not get my results in an hour as planned. They said I had to wait until 3:00 p.m. But in the meantime they had me take a HPT and it was positive!!

I can't believe after 11 years of TTC, I finally saw two little lines on that stupid stick!!!

Well, I just got the call and my BETA which is 14dp5dt is 830 :D  Is that good? I have another BETA on Wednesday to see if my numbers increase. And then I'll have an U/S three weeks from then to view placement and number of embies growing.

Good luck Waiting!!!!

Well I've been up since 2 a.m. I couldn't sleep knowing I had my test today. I'm going to make a quick dinner then take a nap.

Luv you all !!!! Let's see many more BFPs!!!!!

YAH Jenn on your BFP. Congratulations. You have a very high beta. Maybe twins?

I am wondering if my beta is now high, since it is 887 today, and I had my first beta on the 2nd only 11 days after the transfer, and it was 226 then. The nurse would not say anything about twins until I have my ultrasound.

Hello, I am new to this board and any kind of these chats. i have been reading this board for a couple weeks now but I have never posted to it. So please be patient. A little background on me... I am 28 and my husband is 31. We have been TTC for almost 10 years since we got married. About 5 years ago I got pregnant naturally but miscarried at 7 weeks. We tried a cycle of clomid with natural conception and had no luck. About a year ago we tried clomid with and IUI and again no luck. After further testing we found out my husband has 0% morphology adn IVF with ICSI was our only option. We started the cycle with lupron on Jan 9th and had our retrieval feb 5th. They retrieved 21 eggs but only 13 were mature and 6 fertilized. We did a day 3 transfer with 2 very good quality embrios and hopefully they were able to freeze the rest. We will find out for sure later this week. Everything has gone basically smooth. My progesterone shots do not bother me at all and so far I am still sane. I go for my Beta test on the 21st. My doctors office told me today I could do a home test and i wish they wouldn't have, i had resigned myself to the fact that i wouldn't do that to myself and now it's like they gave me the green light and i want to. i am nervous though for a false result. Sorry i am babbling.

Welcome to the board. Do the test!! I wasn't going to either and the RE told me not to. I think they where more worried about gettign a false neg. The pressure gets worse I'm tellin ya. If you can hold out your a strong women.

I went shopping today and barely had enough energy to make it back home! I really didn't even feel like shopping. I wanted to buy clothes but didn't know what to buy, so I got a purse and belly butter!!!

Someone on here told me that they give themselves the PIO shots. Who was it and how do you do it??? DH goes out of town Thurs. and I'm on my own

so i did the test and i think it was negative, but i looked again and saw a very faint line. it may just be wishful thinking, i said i wasn't going to re-test until thursday but i have a feeling i will again in the am. my husband said he might have seen the line too, but i think we are both just really wanting it to be positive. i wish i wouldn't have started this vicious cycle. i was doing great and then the nurse said it was ok!!! How early have any of you gotten an accurate result. is it to soon for me to even start looking since my transfer was just last sunday (the 8th)?

Congrats to everyone with the great news, it is very encouraging!

Hello ladies... Well it is Monday night and I am exhausted. I went for my US this morning and was afraid that I wasn't going to be producing any folllies, cuz as I had said yesterday, I don't feel anything in my ovaries. I didn't feel bloated or anything. Well, so far I have about 8 follies on my left and about 5 on my right. They are still only about 8mm small so hopefully by the end of the week they will be ready. My uterus is now about 5mm also so it is thickening up...woohooo!!! I was on 225u of Follistim, but tonight I need to lwer that to 200u. This is getting exciting again. I go back on Wednesday and then again on Saturday and maybe on Monday will be my last before I trigger. So I am thinking an Ash Wednesday ER. Keeping my fingers so crossed. Oh yeah, now that i am symptom spotting, I finally feel my ovaries doing something. I am starting to feel a little more pudgy and sore.

Jenn..... BFP!!! I am so happy for you. And i am o proud of you that u didn't POAS prior to today. And now you can be so full of hapiness especially with a Beta of 830  Well, now the celebration begins. Congratulations hun.

molly... Nice 2nd beta. I cant wait to see how many u have on Friday. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Niki.. Welcome to the board. AT least you are in the dreaded 2WW, it would have been nice to be there for you thru your complete cycle. Good Luck on the 21st.

Tburks... As for the POI, I did them myself last cycle. The nurse drew the circles in my behind and I would just have my DH trace the circles again everyday since they faded wth the showers. I would be in front of the mirror when I did my injections. Actually not that bad. Good Luck.

Rosie... I am glad u r preparing for your new cycle. I really hope and pray that it turns out well this time. good luck on the 15th and keep us posted.

waiting... Congrats on being an Aunt. As for your Beta, so? how did it go? have u gotten your results hun? Good Luck, I'm thinking of you.

Chris... Glad u r doing well. 1 more week and you will be POAS too and praying that u get your BFP hun. hopefully the soar boobs brings good things. Good luck.

CAfirstinvitro... Congrats on starting stimms. Hope u produce lots of good foolies with some wonderful eggs. Good Luck.

Well ladies, I will check back in later.

Okay, so here's the latest in my saga. I talked with the nurse today who assured me that this is definitely not a molar pregnancy or downs syndrome. Those both involve much higher numbers than I have and later in pregnancy. Mandeekins and Molly, you were both so right about this - thanks for you encouragement.

I did talk the nurse into letting me have a second beta tomorrow (3 days early), so if it's just a mistake I'll know shortly.

Jenn, yeah!!! I'm so happy for you. It's such a relief to see it finally work, isn't it? Great numbers too - more twins?

Molly, I don't really have any symptoms yet either, except that I feel pretty tired all the time ... but that can happen without being pregnant too. 887 is terrific - you're also on the multiples watch.

Waiting for 4, good luck on your beta tomorrow!

Chris, my ultrasound's on 2/27. One more week for you, right? Are you finding good ways to distract yourself?

Brown, I love your idea of a spa day. If I ever have another cycle, that's absolutely what I'm doing!

Michele, sorry about your rude appt reminder. Waiting's the worst.

tburks, I did PIO myself last cycle. It was a little awkward, but do-able. I found I could only really reach on my right side, so I kept using the same spot, but otherwise no major problems. Good luck on your beta tomorrow!

Niki, don't worry about your HPT results. It's really too soon after a 2/8 transfer to be testing.

Well ladies I caved in.... I tried but I let myself get the best of me. I just did a HPT and it was negative : (. I'm trying not to get too down about it. I do not beta until Friday. The last couple of days I just haven't felt anything (except by behind is killing me from the PIO). I think that is what had me scared, but I'm not going to let it get me down. I will retest in the morning to see if that makes a difference having my first urine.

Congrats to all the BFP's !!!! Wow it is amazing! I wish you all the best!!
