Kat (tuffy) - Congrats on some big healthy babies! 16 pounds of baby inside...yikes. Counting kicks for both babies sounds pretty frustrating. Will have to see how that goes. Doc said I'll need to start doing that in another month or so.

Sunshine - With DD I was first diagnosed with a complete previa at 12 weeks and mine never moved. I do have a friend who had a previa at 20 weeks that resolved by the 3rd tri, but I don't know if it was partial or complete. I know that completes are less likely to resolve than partials. Didn't end up being that bad for me - I had bleeding and preterm labor at 36 weeks. Most babies are fine by then but DD was a bit of a late bloomer, even in the embryo stage, so she spent a few days in the NICU. Healthy as a horse now though!

Blissful - hope your first day back at work isn't too hard. Mine with DD was miserable, but I didn't do a day care trial run first. I think that's a great idea.

Bodie - sorry to hear about the UTI and contractions. So stressful.

LYD - your numbers sound good enough to skip an amnio to me. Thank goodness with these twins that I had PGD done. My OB hasn't done any of the blood tests because she says twins skew results. She knows about the PGD so she didn't even offer an amnio.

AFM - we had our 16 week appointment on Tuesday. They did an ultrasound to check heartbeats and measurements and she asked if I wanted gender info if she could see it. YES!!! She seemed relatively confident that we are team pink AND team blue ! My daughter will be so excited because she's been saying she wants a brother and a sister. I know DH is thrilled to have a boy in the mix too. It's funny - ever since 12 weeks I've thought baby B looks like a girl already, and she is indeed the girl.

AFM-I had my first of mynevery two week ultrasounds. I asked the tech to double check the babies gender and sure enough, she said that we have two girls. We are very excited. Here are sine updated pics of our girls. Sending you all much love.

Hi ladies - seems like it has been a pretty quiet week or so on the board! I hope everyone had a nice Easter!

Dogz - congrats to you and welcome Alecia! How are you both doing so far?

Sunshine - I'm glad to hear your new job is going well so far. Yay for team blue! My sister had partial previa and it resolved itself by 3rd trimester. Not sure about complete previa though...

Kerpupples - SO happy that they were able to tell you the genders - waiting for that is so hard! Boy and girl - very exciting - I know we were thrilled to find out we had a mix of genders too!

We - glad to hear the girls are doing well! I've been asking them to re-confirm the genders every time I go in since I found out. They may think I'm crazy but I'd rather make sure - would rather have a suprise now vs. later Are you feeling better?

Moorebaby - How are you doing? You must be having those babies any day now - I hope you are doing well. Good luck with everything!!

AFM - We have our first baby shower tomorrow - I'm so excited to see friends and family! The baby gifts will be fun too - we have our nursery pretty well ready (emptied, painted, cribs and dresser in) so it is time to start filling it up! I've been starting to feel pretty big the last week or so. I know I have a long way to go and will still get much bigger but definitely feeling pregnant these days. I got a pedicure this morning since I can't easily reach my own feet anymore Question for you all - has anyone used one of the maternity support belts that go under/over your stomach? Just curious which brand is best/most comfortable. I think I may try to pick on up soon...

Dogz- congrats on your baby girl. I hope you are adjusting well to the new baby!

We- The babies look great thanks for sharing. How was going back to work? It must be nice to finally get up and moving again. Although I'm thrilled to be having boys a part of me still longs for girls since I've had such fun with the two I have. Congratuations again, shopping and decorating will be so much fun.

Kbillsy- I imagine you are feeling big these days. Lets hope you are managing to be mobile for a few more months at least. Glad to hear you are getting going on getting things set up, I can't imagine you will be able to do much for the last few months of your pregnancy.

Sunshine- sorry to hear about the previa. I had a partial with my DD but it cleared up. I think that is pretty common with partials. How much of your cervix was covered?

Moore- wow you must be getting ready to have those babies! I can't believe time has flown by so fast. I still remember the story of your dh giving you your beta results. I imagine he's pretty excited to meet his new babies!

Kerpupples- Funny story about your DD and the genders. My DD was positive we were having a boy and a girl. When we told her it was two boys she refused to believe us. She's since warmed up to the idea. She even had them named (Jacob and Lala).

Blissful- hope your return to work was good. I'm sure you missed your baby but hopefully the time out of the house was nice also.

Bodie- sorry to hear about the UTI, scary but glad it was that and not preterm labor. You are almost at 28 now I think, which is a huge milestone! Congratulations, you are almost there.

Lyd- I was always to scared to have an amnio. I am in the camp that I would want to know if something was wrong so I could be ready but not if it risked my babies. Hard decision, good luck.

AFM- feeling really big these days. Can't sit in regular chairs any more, I have a lot going on the next few weeks so if I can get through these next fourteen days then I think I'll just sit around and wait for the babies to come. I have been going in for OB visits every two weeks but I think I'll have to go each week from now on. Which gets to be interesting with a 2 and 4 year old. Since my OB is a friend of mine she's been letting me come in a little longer between visits because we talk all the time. She is throwing me a shower next weekend, we are donating all the items to bundles of love which is an organization that give newborn supplies to mothers in need. I'm pretty excited about it. I never had a shower with either of the first two and it's nice to be able to give back. Hope you all had a nice weekend!

Kbillsy - How was your shower? I had my first one a couple weeks ago and it was so much fun. Just loved seeing all the cute baby stuff!!

I'm doing great. Feeling good except for back pain. Water aerobics and massages every 2-3 weeks have made a huge difference! 5 more weeks at work!! I decided to take off 2 weeks before Sam is here to finish setting up his nursery. I just don't have the time right now and my job is too physically demanding for me too see myself there past 38wks.

fvrogers - glad to hear you are doing well - really sounds like you are in the home stretch now, keep it up! I get massages every 2 weeks as well and so far my back pain hasn't been too bad. I've thought about swimming especially as the weather gets nicer, but the bigger I get the more I'm thinking I have no business being in a bathing suit

AFM - my shower was great - we have amazing family and friends that were very generous - I guess they have a pretty good idea of how expensive 3 will be! We are off to a great start with the things we need - next shower is a couple weeks out so I have some time to get this stuff organized and hopefully put away somewhere before baby stuff officially takes over our house

kerpupples - congrats on joining both team pink and blue!! so at 36 weeks did you have a C-section cause of previa? im hoping that i can make at least that far. mine is still completely covering cervix at 21 weeks. they will check again at 28 weeks. luckily no bleeding after 18 weeks.

we- your girls are getting cuter by day in their u/s.

kbillsy - pedicure sounds awesome..good way to treat yourself.

tuffy4u - mine is completely covering cervix at 21 weeks. the doc still thinks there is 90% chance of it clearing. let's see. and you are almost there at the finish line.

Sunshine - yes, it was because of the previa. Rather funny story, actually. I was at the hospital with DH for our child care class, and started bleeding while I was in class. Very easy to just wheel me up to a room and put me on a monitor. I was having contractions, so they gave me the meds to try and stop them and observed me overnight. The contractions didn't stop even though the bleeding had, so the next night we went ahead and delivered via C-section.

I think if your previa is covering your cervix like a C shape you've got the best chance of it moving. Mine was a U shape, so I really never expected it to move.

tuffy - Jacob and Lala - that's adorable! So will one of your boys be a Jacob? Hope you can get through your busy time and then just relax. Kinda tough with 2 little ones though, isn't it? DD is getting rather clingy - I think she's starting to realize she'll have to share time with mommy when the babies come. What a wonderful thing to do for your shower.

kbillsy - I used a support belt towards the end of the pregnancy with DD. HIGHLY recommended. Mine was a Medela but it just went under the stomach. I suspect with 3 in there you'll want one that goes under and over. I'll be looking for one like that myself.

AFM - Going to a Just Between Friends consignment sale to pick up a few things this evening - exersaucer, maternity clothes, and baby boy clothes. I have TONS left from DD so my girl should be pretty set. I think we'll be having a shower for some of the things we'll still need (double stroller, extra car seat, etc.) but this sale is great to get things at a bargain. Oh, and a friend pregnant with a singleton just posted a FB pic of herself at 26 weeks. I'm 17.5 weeks and we are about the same size. Gaaah!
