Congrats for those who are achiving the NON SMOKING.

I started stimms today.Who else is with me?
I've started with those pen injections Gonal-F. I'm sure this drug is very well known for those who is not new tho ivf/icsi.
My dose is 225ui plus the 300ui of supercur(buserelin).
My next app.for scan is on monday 23rd and friday 27th.

Tracey ----- is the suspense killing you?????????? What are you doing to pass the time and "not think about it"? Any advice will be well receieved by all as we're right on your tail!! We're all waiting for the BFP ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!

Anie ---- how are the gonal-f pens?? I have those too....mine currently scheduled to start 7/26.....where do you get those shots?? (thigh, butt, etc)

Lisa ----- Any advice on needle size for the tummy????? A little freaked out about that at the moment..........everything i've seen/read says its all about the size of the needle.....(ironically - no mention of what a good size is!!!)

Julie --- You go see doc yesterday?? Any follie size updates for us???

I'm on the BC regiment....am done w/ those at end of this week - w/ AF expected sometime next week.....Lupron dose and all injection teaching tomorrow.....until next time ladies.....

Hello everyone! My cycle has been cancelled. I went in for my trial transfer and they found a mass of some kind and now they have me scheduled for surgery and told me that we can attempt again, if surgery goes ok, in October. I am so upset and have gotten so tired of all these "bumps in the road" that we have had to face. I wish you ladies the best of luck and baby dust to all.

I do have one question for anyone familiar with Bravelle. A few of my vials of the liquid expire in July but the powders are all good until the end of the year. Should I be concerned with the liquid part?

Hope all is well with everyone. Things here are moving along i am going back to RE in the morning so i will updat tomm when i get home. Is anyone else getting HOTFLASHES I am all the time...DH feels like his living in a snowstorm..I told him its a small price to pay he should be glad my hormones are ok and i am not flipping out on him.

Lee and Julie Sorry to hear you both lost this cycle Hope things turn out BFPPPPPPP next time around...

ICSI GIRL--The needle is not that bad in the belly They should explain everything to you when you go for your teaching...I am not using any ice or heat when i inject. I wil tell you that make sure the med. is at room temp... COLD MEDS HURT...............i take mine out of the fridge 1 hour prior to injecting.

Lee and Julie : I am so sorry that, like Keisha, this cycle is not to be but I really hope once you have recovered that you are able to jump right back on the rollercoaster so you can get your BFP!

LisaPA: I had hotflushes while downregging and became a firebreathing dragon (apparently)! They pass, i dont have them anymore.

The 2ww is a strange place for me. I know the odds of this working are not particularly great so I try to keep myself cautiously optimistic. I spend far too much of my time sitting on this computer gleaning support from fellow IVFers on this site.

I keep myself busy...have some cramping quite often.....and my (.)(.) are so tender the wind hurts them!

cwrj00 (Tracey): just wanted to share that i'm not even at the 2ww point yet and my (.)(.) have been SO tender as of late just from the bcp's!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is driving dh crazy (he's a (.)(.) man) think i'll not tell him that it could carry into the next several weeks!! ha, ha, ha..... sticky dust, sticky dust, sticky dust, sticky dust, sticky dust

LisaPa: thx for advice (more importantly - the encouragement!!) especially on the cold meds --- would have had NO idea!!! am anxious to hear how RE appt went......hopefully things are progressing nicely!

as for me --- i'll be leaving work early today to go see doc (actually nurse erin -- doc's PERSONAL and EXCLUSIVE RN -- oooh-la-la!!!) anyway - get my lupron injection and dh learning how to administer all shots....AF expected next week which is when i'll start stimming!!

Thanks for the advice regarding the tempreture of med.It is a great help.
I would do straight away after taking it out of fridge...but now i know
I take them in my tummy and so far had no problem.

Tracey: If everything goes the like the plan then my EC will be on 30th July.I think they will tell me after the 2nd scan which is on 27th.


ICSI Girl: My first shot with Gonal pen was with the nurse when she was teaching me how to do it.I do it on my tummy.She said not to do slowly,just do it in one go! To be honest don't know if i can do like that. Will find out today.Lol.
She also reminded me that i should drink 2ltr of water a day and this is hard for me! I'm so bad drinking water Just managing to drink 1ltr a dayfor now.

Ok so here is the update on me .....

8 follies seen today on u/s they all looked good I was hoping for me but as my RE said you only need one.......

uterine lining looked great and blood work good MED CHANGE AS OF TODAY DECREASE LUPRON TO 10 UNITS A DAY AND INCREASE FOLLISITM TO 375 UI PER DAY LOOKS LIKE WE ARE GETTING READY ........
I go back friday and then sunday hoping to trigger sun night or monday....I am a worried wreck about my follies .......I hope they do ok my fear is losing my cycle.........and then doing all this again my ins will not cover any more drugs...as it stands i am already 25,000. into this.between the ivf/icsi and meds. thanks for listening .........I would be lost without this board.....

Congrats Lisa on your good sized follies. Eat plenty of protein (Doc shared that one with me day of trigger....very useful for me!) in the next day or two to help with their last surge in growth. I really hope you get gorgeous perfect little eggs ready to become gorgeous healthy little embies which will become gorgeous healthy little babes!!!!

On another unrelated note, i cannot believe how much of a cost difference there is between the US and the UK. Our entire IVF/ICSI cycle including meds will be £5000. The financial commitment you guys show through these repeat uninsured cycles is incredible.

So, grow all your follies, grow!!!!!!!

OK. So I have been a little bit naughty. I am 4dp2dt and I just did a HPT. The only reason was I read about a girl on these pages who tested around now just to make sure she knew all the HCG from the trigger was gone. Well, it's gone. I will put the tests away for at least another week but had to share this with you guys as DH is adament I shouldnt test until Sat 28th!
