Mandy, i am so sorry.Hope you feel better soon.

Magic, keep the PMA, i have previously had two positives, neither of which showed up on an HPT, but came up on the blood tests. Good luck tomorrow.

Su, hope your feeling ok, glad you have helpful colegues at work!! I just got a paper delivery and need to get someone to move it for me, usually do it myself, i feel such a fraud.luckily i'm the boss so can just claim boss status (ha ha).

2nd Timer, hope alls gone well today, rest up, let us know how you got on.

Kelly, sounds like your hanging in there very well, keep up the pma. The 2 weeks will fly by.

As for me, feeling ok, went to the in-laws last night as was MIL 65th birthday, and i had to refuse glass of wine, but she insisted i try it, so i just had a sip. Not telling them till after the 12 week mark. Would have loved to tell her for her birthday as she lives for the day she becomes a grandma. DH just sits grinning at me, its very funny. Oh and this 2ww is worse than THE 2WW.

Sticky baby dust to all.

Hi ladies,just checking in...

Cramps light today, am very very nervous about tomorrow, I feel sick! Am trying to prepare myself in case it is bad news as don't want to be a jibbering wreck tomorrow if it is BFN... We have my step daughter this weekend and we haven't told her what is happening. This is so her mother doesn't know as she has made fun of me in the past about my 'inability to have children'... nice lady!!! So I will have to contain my feelings either way tomorrow so SD remains unaware.

I feel very tearful and emotional but it helps so much knowing you are all out there and understand...

Thanks for all your support, is everyone ok today? All hanging in there???

Hi Ladies,
just got back from the ER & got 23 eggs!! I'm feeling fine, just a little sore & sleepy.
Magic, I'm in the same position. We have my step daughter for a week now & of course we're not telling her what is going on. I guess I'll just say something along the lines of I'm having some "female problems." I really, really don't want her mom to find out about the IVF & say something crappy to me. It would be just like her, also not a nice person. I also don't want my MIL to find out because she's a big gossip. Since my DH has a 13yo daughter, everyone assumes that our problem is mine, but actually it is male factor infertility. But anyway, please know that you're in my thoughts & am hoping for the best for you.
I'm going to bed now, probably sleep for the rest of the day. We're hoping for a 5 day transfer. I guess I'll hear more by Sunday on whether that's possible.

2ndtimer - that is awesome! Congrats! Sure hope that lots of them make it to blast! Not that you'll need many because this is the round when you'll get your BFP!!!

Hope everyone else is doing well! I am doing okay. Didn't sleep well last night but probably won't for the next 2 weeks. This 2ww seems to be going much slower than any of the others. My DH told me in no uncertain terms last night that I am not allowed to take a HPT, so I guess I am going to have to wait the full 2 weeks! Yikes - I might go crazy before then!

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Hi second timer, I know exactly what you mean, fertility is not my issue either!!! I have had 2 m/c and my MIL said 'you just can't seem to hold on to them can you? That haunts me too...

Hang in there Mrs Eggie - and good luck for Sunday...

2nd, timer congrats on the egg collection, good luck on the fert rate, you should have plenty to go to blast with. Hope your not too sore.

Magic, have you had any further tests, to see why you miscarried? I know most clinics don't test until you've had 3 but my clinic tests on 2, thats how i found out i had a clotting problem. One 75mg aspirin a day and hey presto.

Kelly, hang in there, i was also thinking of doing an HPT, but DH would not let me, although i did do one once i'd got my result as i'd never had a high enough beta for it to show on an hpt. hang in there, i'm rooting for you.

Hi everyone, I guess you may have read I got a BFN yesterday, so disappointing but in a way I'm just releived the 2ww is over and I can get back to normal for a few months before having another go...

Beachbaby no they don't know why I m/c but they did suggest the 75mg of asprin which I took this time. I have to say if it wasn't meant to be this time I would rather have a BFN than another m/c...

I wish all you girls the very best of luck, thank you for your support, it has been so helpful and reassuring...

Baby dust to you all...

magic, i am so sorry, hope you feel better soon and come back to try again next year. I agree with you on getting a negative rather than to lose it again, i also have had 2 losses and was praying i wouldn't get another.
Take care.

Hi Ladies,
Here's my fert report: 23 eggs retrieved, they were able to do ICSI on 16, of those 13 fertilized, 11 were still dividing today & according to the embriologist all looked "wonderful & are the highest grade"!!! So I'm pretty happy. We are planning a 5 day transfer on Wed. If anything happens overnight they will call in the am & I'll get a 3 day transfer tom.
Other than that I feel like I got run over by a truck. I'm so sore, bloaty, & have terrible indigestion. I'm really glad I've got an extra 2 days to recover. I got over ambitious today & went for a long walk and then to the grocery store. I'm so sore now I doubt I'll make it to work tom.
How's everyone else doing? Pumma, have you started stims yet?

best of luck to all of you in the 2ww!!!

i think i posted before on this post....just wondering if anyone has gone through this....i'm going a little crazy right now. i had a BFP, but i got news yesterday my beta dropped. first beta was 105 at 12dp3dt, then 135 at 14dp3dt, then today it was 69 at 16dp3dt. with the last result, the nurse said that i can continue the premetrium if i want and that the doctor wants me to be tested next monday to see where the pregnancy is going. if it's dropped, why should i take the prometrium? has anyone ever heard of this?

this would be my second biochemical preganancy. my first one started with low numbers that would more than double, then after i reached 771, i passed a lot of blood and some tissue, and a few days later, my beta was 5.

kelly m - your signature says you've had some chem pregnancies....just wondering if your doctor did some diagnostic testing on you? or if he gave you some explanation for it? i took baby asprin this last cycle, but i didn't start it until ET day.

thanks, guys.
