kbear - I came into this post to check on your pregnancy and saw the news about your mom. I am so sorry for your loss, I can't even imagine what you are going through. All I can say is that she will be watching over you and your bean as your guardian angel. Congratulations on the Nuchal test results!

Hi!

Where have all the Dec moms gone? I hope everyone is doing okay.
I have one more week before my 16-week check up. We will hopefully find out the sex. Can't wait!!

I'm still throwing up a bit and haven't regained all of my energy, but overall I feel terrific!

My little bump is finally forming...get hard and round in my lower abdomen. So exciting now...it feels more like I'm pregnant that just fluffy from the weight gain.

Has anyone found out what they're having??

Happy Monday!
Cheryl

Hi All!

Post by sarahalf »

I have been out of touch, as well. Seems our board has been alittle quiet. I am excited to hear what you are having, too, Cheryl!
I am 14 weeks and the twins are measuring the exact same and everything looks great. My n/t testing all came back great so that is a great relief...
We have been guessing the sex of the babies since I have an ultrasound every week but I am really not sure yet. I should find out next week for sure when I go to the high risk specialist.
Anyway, hope all is well and we all get back in touch again soon. Would love to hear how everyone is feeling!

Triple the growth

Post by tamaraj »

Well tomorrow is 15 weeks for the triplets and I am getting huge. The OB last week said that I am measuring at five an a half months of a singleton pregnancy!

We see the perinatalogists next week and hopefully we will be able to find out the sexes, if they all cooperate! I really need to get planning on the nirsery...being an interior designer iI just have a ton of ideas! So far they are all measuring the same and everything looks great.

At my OB appointment last week my blood pressure is escalated and being closely monitored. As long as it keeps coming down close to normal they will not put me in the hospital. I also had my glucose test and so far no sign od gestational diabetes!!!

The bleeding has completely stopped now...thank God! I am still queasy all of the time and the fatigue is very tough to deal with.

The best news though is that two days ago I felt the babies move. Not sure which one, but it is like a bubble popping!!!

I am so excited to read that everyone is doing so well and that we are all getting close to finding out what sexes the babies are!!!

Hi Everyone,

I hope that you all are doing well. We are doing pretty good here in NC. We started feeling movement on Father's day...such an amazing feeling. We have already graduated to maternity clothing, and they are so very comfortable these days... :D

We probably won't find out the sexes of the babies until about another week and half. We still have 3 weeks before we see our Peri for the 2nd trimester screening.

I have been experiencing daily nose bleeds coupled with some headaches, but overall I think that things are going pretty well.

How is everyone else doing these days?

Tamaraj: You must be so excited to find out what you are having. It must be so hard to have a feeling with three~!
It seems like on these boards that three usually equal two boys and a girl for some reason. Have you found that at all? You never really hear any other scenerios...I wonder if there is data on this~
I have no feeling what we are having with these twins. And since I have heard every combination from my last few ultrasounds, I have kind of given up. I am hoping this week at 16 weeks we will be able to distinguish. Do you have any hopes or thoughts? I guess with three it would be nice to have all of the same for simplicity sake with decorating nursury and clothing...yet boy and girls would all be fun!!!!
Are you planning to nurse and pump? Will you do three cribs or all together? Will you have family help or nanny with these babies?Last question...what is your actual due date and when do you think you will really deliver?
So interesting to hear all your plans, cant wait to find out what you are having!
Carolina Girl, Glad things are going so well. Headaches do suck though! And Tylenol really doesnt work for me so I usually just try to suffer through...
I still havent gievn in to maternity clothing. There are no shops where we love and I havent found any websites that I really like. Any suggestions? Do you have any feelings on the sex of your babies?
Thanks for the chats, ladies. I love hearing about all of you!

Hi December Moms!!

I've been lurking since March and thought it was about time I posted.

We did our first round of IVF in October 2005 and have a beautiful daughter Brooke who will be two in July. We did our second round of IVF this past March. Found out we were pg on April 11th. Had our first US on May 1st and found out that we were having triplets. Total Shock! I cried and laughed because I was not expecting triplets. A week later I lost two of the babies which was very heartbreaking. I'm now at 15 weeks with a strong growing baby. I'm due Dec 15th which seems so far away. I'm huge already and started wearing maternity clothes at 9 weeks. My first tri was horrible. I had MS every day and all day. Once I hit 13 weeks it went away and I feel like a new woman!!! It was a very hard 12 weeks.
Looking forward to chatting with all of you.

Heather,
Welcome and congratulations!! We have the same due date!
It sounds like you had quite a roller coaster the first trimester. I hope this one will be nice and boring for you...although with a two year old, Im sure you are busy regardless!
Look forward to sharing stories!!!

Sara,

You are correct. Headaches are no fun at all. :( Tylenol relieves it for me a little bit, but I usually have to take a nap in a completely dark room.

I recently shopped at a Motherhood Maternity store here in NC. I was able to pick up some casual items that I can wear for right now, which included shorts, slacks, and v neck tees. I am in the processs of ordering some things online from the Maternity section of JC Penny too. They have some really cute maternity things and their return policy is very reasonable. I am not planning to spend too much money on new clothing, but I still want to have a flexible selection while I am pregnant.

I am unsure about the sexes of the babies. I am just praying for sweet little healthy ones right now.

Welcome Heather! It is great to have you with us. Hang in there. Dec. 15th will be here before you know it. We are in the 2nd tri now. Let's sit back and enjoy it. :D

Chat with you all soon. :D

Cheryl,
Is your dr appt today? So excited to hear what you are having!!!!!!
Carolina Girl, Thanks for the advice on maternity shopping. I feel like I need a few items. I have to say, it is nice to have it summer. Alot of the styles seem to be empire waist, which is working so far. Who knows for how long?!
Anyway, I agree...lets enjoy the second semester!!!

Hi Dec Moms,

We found out Wednesday that we're having a boy! We are sooooo thrilled! He weighs 7 ounces and the doc said he's growing well. He had the hiccups during the sono and it was so adorable to see his little body go up and down with each hiccup! I just started crying when the tech told us - it truly takes on a whole new dimension when you find out...so incredible!

Has anyone else already found out?

Hope you all have a great weekend!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so happy for your family!! And Reed is an adorable name!!!
We had a boy first and he is such a wonderful child, so sweet and sensitive. And now he is the big brother that I always dreamed of having for my daughter.

Congratulations Cheryl!
We will find out in the next 2 weeks. I see the Dr next week for a check up and then will schedule the U/S for the following week. I have my 2nd trimester screening on the 15th.

I am still experiencing morning/evening sickness. I do not want anything to do with meat. I am loving fruit & french fries ( my guilty pleasure....)

I hope everyone else is feeling well.
