hi ladies..an active thread over the weekend!! i was busy with my parents in town so didn't get to write much...plus DH spent all day friday moving our office stuff to the basement to make room for a lil nursery!! BTW, Is it bad to have ur babies sleep with you and DH (if you have like a king bed)?
He was all excited about the room...anyway..nausea is so much better, actually lasted all day from wk 6 to 7...then went away on its own...hoping all is ok...i go in tomm for the 2nd u/s- God, please let the babies be fine with good hbs!

so, wow..the big O - don't get to talk about that much it so strange how some of ur docs had you sign a letter!! basically SG told us 5 days after ET, we were fine to do whatever...i confirmed this after the 6 wk u/s with a diff doc...and yes IC is allowed! Anyone else in this boat? Is it dependent on previous m/c or age or something?

As far as meds...estrace for me twice daily until tomm! - 8 wks, then once until 10 wks. PIO stopped after BFP determined, now on twice daily prog supp to go until 10 wks. Cant wait to stop everything.

Sorry about no personals, will try later! Sounds like everyone is doing fine and we'll get to hear about awesome u/s this week...

Well, going back to work wasn't as bad as I thought is would be...the distraction actually made me work through any little sickness I might have felt.
JDC and Ndgo82 - I totally hear you about wanting all the attention. my sil that already has a 2 year old wants to start trying again, and I know it will be soooo easy for them....way to steal our thunder:)
The big O conversation is great...my husband and I are also a little paranoid, so I think we will probably wait until our next u/s with my ob/gyn. we'll see.
kimmysq-I have just been on prog. caps. 1x/day since we got the BFP...I hope you find some relief soon with your meds.
DCdiva and silverangel - hope you guys are hanging in there...think positive!
angel-congrats on the HB....it's so exciting...right?
hopeful - can't wait to hear about your u/s good luck!!!!

My DH and I just got our first beta back and we got a BFP!!!! its 291!
we are over the moon!
I had one failed ivf 3 years ago... and never thought i would do it again.. we tried one more time and took it casually. wowowowowo
We did it!

Hey Kim. I was on 1cc of Progesterone a day and just before the pregnancy test it was a little lower than they would have liked (They prefer over 10 and it was like 9.3 or something) so they had me start the suppositories 3x a day and then just recently it my doc told me that since it was over 40 he wanted me to stop one of them. Either the shot or the capsuls. (Guess which one I chose.....lol)
Hope this hepled.

Cross your fingers for me girls, tomorrows my next u/s and we're hoping for 2 strong heartbeats. I'll report back when we get home. 'night everyone.

Going back to work wasn't to bad today. I am definitely tired though. I have been on 1cc of pio since ER and have been told I will be until 9wks. As for IC, we were told I would probably be sore from ER but we were allowed to at any time. Granted, we have been to scared.

Jennagirl - Yeahhh!!! Congratulations to you!!! Its a good number and it definitely shows you are pregnant!!! Your dreams finally come true .

tris22 - It definitely a relief when found out the beta increasing. Pray it continually increase and doubling.

Kimmsq - Hope your m/s is better. Heard eating sour and sweet things will help the m/s. Everyday I will feel abit nausea but only for awhile. The feeling come and go very fast.

As for the BIG O, hahaha glad someone talk about it ... have been wanting to have one and get horny sometimes ...but not till the big O coz scared it will have some effect. Think its better to wait till 12 weeks.

Well ladies, I've been having the big O alot lately and I just can't help
myself. It feels so much stronger because of the bloodflow to the uterus My cramps aren't as painful afterwards anymore but I feel guilty after I do it thinking what if, you know. I don't wanna m/c because of some pleasure that lasts a couple minutes [the big O].
I always tell myself I won't do it next time but I get super horney and can't stop And mostly when DH goes down I'm like o.k. but I don't wanna come so just a couple licks But then that turns out to be a big bed shaking orgasm then I feel bad like it's a sin or something.

I have to ask the re about this..they never restricted me though and they did say no sex for two weeks..well it's past two weeks, plus what about the women that gets pregnant and don't know but continues to orgasm?
I guess my case is different because of IVF right?

So JDC I'm so glad I'm not the only one who is in this situation, and the chick lives with me. I feel like kicking her and her husband out but that's my DH's sister and I know that in our case blood is thivcker than water.
I'm so miserable though. Nobody cleans after themselves and I'm going crazy because I'm a clean person. O.K. enough ranting for now

Hey ladies. Just wanted to come on report the sighting of two perfect little heart beats at our sonogram this morning!!!
I was so nervous but they saw twin A's heart beat right away and it's beating at 124 BPM.
They had a little trouble seeing Twin B's because he/she is kinda hiding behind twin A and I got nervous but then they saw it and it's beating at a beautiful 139 BPM.
They said that they are very happy with the measurment of them both and everthing looks just fine and dandy at this point. Big PHEW!! from me and the whole family today.


NDGO82: I just wanted to comment to you really quick about your post and just let you know that oral sex for a pregnant woman can be VERY DANGEROUS if your not careful.
I've heard that any air that's blow up there by accident could cause a anneurism or a blood clot to you and/or the baby so please be very very very careful and ask your doc before you do that again.
I know it's hard to say no some times and there's nothing wrong with orgasm if the doc gives you the green light but I do know that oral sex could be harmful to a fetus.
I don't mean to scare you in any way, but I just wanted to give you a heads up becuase it's only right that we all watch out for eachother on this bumpy road that we all share.
