Hi All - Had my second scan this morning and scheduled EC on Tuesday (5.April) at 8:15. Looks like my 5 little follies are now 6 growing follies - still 4 on left and now 2 on right. My Dr. reassured me that 6 is still good and is more interested in the quality - so we shall see on Tuesday! :D Also my endo is looking good - 11mm.

Tonight I take my HCG injection at 22:30 - still in the stomache but I have to mix it myself. Tomorrow (Monday) I have a day off from meds! Luckily DH can be there Tuesday - but we have back up just in case.

Delly - I took 150ie of Purogen...and my Dr said it may have been too low for me. But everyone is different and they just don't know how you will react to the meds. The spa idea sounds great as well!

Kagome - Good luck with the injections.

Maci05 - when I was downregging my AF was unbelievable...I had never experienced anything like it before. Again, everyone reacts differently - but just be prepared.

How is everyone else? 8)

Tracii - An extra folly - that's good news ! It's always such a relief to hear you're ready for the HCG and EC. When you get to this point, it seems like it's been going on forever. Hope the shot goes okay tonight, and enjoy your holiday tomorrow !

Debra's with you for EC on Tues, so you're lucky that you've got the whole 2ww with a pal... and such a supportive one at that.

Best of luck !!

love to Deb and Tracii for HCG and EC, will keep everything xed until Tuesday..and what a wonder that an extra folly popped out - good olf folly fairy..

I'm dead impressed with the endo result - I had 7mm on day 14 of Cycloprogenova (HRT test run to see how endo responds) I guess that's not that great really..?

Hi...I just called the clinic to ask about my endo reading last Thursday (I'd forgotten to ask). It was 14mm which I'm really very pleased with.

Had a shocker of a night so feel light headed now. My stomach was sore from the HCG shot so I couldn't sleep initially and fretted about everything then at 0300 my toddler woke and was ridiculously wide awake until 0500. I went in about 7-8 times to put her pjs back on, rescue essential soft toys etc....now I look like death warmed up and dizzy to boot. I'll try for a nap later on when DF has gone to work.

Traci, I'm so glad we're going through this together!
hugs to everyone,
Debra.

My stomache is feels very bloated and achy today. I am dead tired as well. This morning my little dog stepped on the spot where I did the HCG injection - and it was/is very sore as well. (I don't think I did a good job with this injection)

Tonight I plan a little pampering..nice bath and relaxation.

I hope to deliver good news tomorrow.

Traci - me too, me too! I'm sitting here with loosened trousers as I feel SO bloated. I don't remember feeling like this at all with previous tmts. I'd like to think it's because we've both had a late surge of follies - wishful thinking???

Wish I had a bath to soak in, they're not esp. common here - people are very pragmatic and showers rule the roost. Our new bathroom is only 5 yrs old but still only has a shower, sigh.

I'm either very excited or very nervous about tomorrow - I've butterflies racing around in there! DF works until midnight so I've just invited a friend round to help pass the evening otherwise I'll be a wreck!

Back on later...
Debra.

Debra - I am hoping too that the follie fairy is making a late visit. I have not felt like this during the entire cycle.

I will be up late too tonight! DH is driving back from Vienna so I don't expect him home until midnight as well.

I am definitely nervous for tomorrow. I have never been 'put under', never in hospital, never surgery..nothing. I have no idea what to expect.

Let the 'egg fairy' treat us very well tomorrow!! :P :P :P

Traci (this thread is becoming the Debra & Traci show - I hope no one minds!) - are you having a full GA tomorrow or sedation? My clinic only offer the latter, I stayed awake throughout my first EC, the 2nd was with stronger meds and I fell asleep half way through and only woke up an hour later when DF was bored of watching my sleep and wanted to go home!

Well, we can sit up late together can't we!
hugs
Debra.

Sorry guys if we are hogging cyperspace.

Debra - I am having full GA tomorrow. Clinic also offers local anesthia but I prefer to be down for the count. I can't believe you stayed awake for the 1st EC! It is not the pain I am afraid of - but I would drive the doctor crazy asking them tons of questions about what is going on :!:

My stomache continues to be bloated. I am home now from work and changed clothes immediately - luckily I do not have to wear pantyhose to work - otherwise it would have been a reall long day!

Off for a snooze so I can make to up late tonight.

Debra and Traci

You are both doing really well - not long to go now :)

Good luck to you both tomorrow and, as Big J says, may the Folli Fairies be with you both

Will be thinking of you
