Hi Bec

I know what you mean. I think that the 2ww after IUI is worse than the treatment. I spent the whole 2 weeks analysing every twinge and constantly examining my boobs, which were as sore as hell. In the end I was really stressed out so not surprised that I got a BFN. This time around I am trying to be more cool about it all.

My advice is to relax and the 2ww will sooon be over.

I have a question, anyone experience a lot of bloatying after transfer? I am a little worried about OHSS. I am really bloated. I do not remember this with my last IVF cycle. Has this happened to anyone else and if so what was the outcome?

hi bsbulldog,
I have had 2 full IVF cycles - one which I ended up in hospital with OHSS, and my current one where I was ok. I felt bloated after each cycle, but obviously felt a lot worse the first time. I guess it depends on how uncomfortable you feel - my first cycle, i couldn't lie on my belly at all. I think if you feel uncomfortable at all, you should let your doctor know. All the best of luck.

Thanks Bella, I asked my doctor they said monitor my weight to see if I have gained any. I do not have any of the other symptoms, that I am aware of. I guess this may be normal. Did you have other symptoms besides the bloating?

I got a BFP on Friday, March 10. I'm still in shock. I thought I'd add another smiley face to the list. Good luck to the 4 on the list testing this week!!! You've almost survived the 2ww!

Thanks Sue for updating the list. I'm also in shock (as well as being on Cloud 9!). Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful support and PMA!

bsbulldog - Sorry to hear you have bloating. I got OHSS on my last cycle so if you are worried maybe ask your dr for a scan or blood test, especially if you are in a lot of pain. Wishing you all the best - hope the bloatedness goes down.

Bella - GOOD LUCK for tomorrow and sending tons of babydust to all the March testers.
