Hello Ladies

Have been dying to read & post but been in a dam two day conference with no time at all.

First - thanks for your support & questions about the suppression scan. The good news is that 18 days of down reggie on buserlin has done its job. I was very pleased to pass this first hurdle along the way & they called me late yesterday to say that I can get going on stimmies from tomorrow. Image

My next hurdle will be getting used to these new injections and then doing bloods on Monday.

Not even going to tempt fate and look at what that means down the line - just going to have a ticker that counts down 12 days on stimmies.........

Brenda - great news on 8 from EC. Fingers crossed that they are busy getting ready for ET & that it will go well tomorrow for you. :D :D :D

Dania - welcome to the April-May team. They ladies are so supportive & helpful. I would be going completely nuts if I was not able to come on here and share experiences with everyone else. I have got quite a few bruises from the injections but read that if you look for skin that is paler (white) rather than pink that there are less blood cells so can hurt less :?: :?:

Sally - I am finding Hammersmith pretty good so far. I agree with you that it can seem a bit impersonal but sometimes that helps me if I am feeling quite emotional. Hope that hot flushes are not too bad. I found that I had them some days/nights but other days were not so bad.

Natalie - I am sorry that you have been having a tough time on the buserlin. As you say the headaches and hot flushes appear par for the course but it really sounds like you are having a rough time. Hope that you can manage to get through this patch and that it is all going to be worth it for you. Image

Lucy - I am so sorry on two counts. Please accept my apologise for getting your name wrong. That was so crap of me. I am more sorry that you may have to put off your treatment due to the cyst. That is rubblish. I am sending you loads of luck & hoping that the dam thing will disappear very soon. Image

Prissy - I am sorry that you are down - sending you lots of faces to cheer you up again.

Image Image Image Image
Good luck for Friday.

Mitzy - so sorry to hear that the EC hurt but so very pleased then to catch up and read that one has gone back & is hopefully get cozy. Sending you lots of baby dust for the 2ww. Image

Sofia - Hope that studying is not too bad & that you will get some free time over the weekend.

Sending lots of luck to everyone else. Hope that you will all have a nice Easter weekend. Image Sure that I'll post over the weekend.

Hi everyone

Thank you all for your words of encouragement. I can't tell you how much it means to me to have you all to talk to. I think it is really helping with my stress levels.

Mitzy - Good luck and make sure you put your feet up and take it easy. I'll be praying for you.

Carolyn - Best of luck as you start your stimmies. They can be interesting. Which meds are you using? I thought the Menopur was a bit stinging. But I managed and I'm sure you can too.

Luby - Sorry about your news. But don't give up girl!!

And Sally - To answer your question on AZH. It is Assisted Zona Hatching and this is where they put a small hole in the outer layer of the embie before transferring it. It is supposed to help it come out of the shell and help with implantation. I believe my Dr. does this after unsuccessful treatments and when he feels the time is right. Hope this answers your question.

Keep your heads up everyone!! I'm going in Friday for transfer and I'll keep you all posted after that. Hope everyone is getting ready for a nice Easter.

Wow, so many posts! I am loving it:)
Update on me:
Yesterday we did u/s, sonohysterogram, mockup transfer, injection class and Dh gave S for freezing for back up. All went well. Cyst is<14mm 9down from 3cm), so not a problem for the IVF.
I start stimming on Saturday, 4/15. No supression first. I responded poorly last time so now I am on Gonal-F 450 + 2cc Menopur/day. Later they will tell me when to start Citro...oops something (I forgot the name of my supression shots and am too lazy to go to the fridge:):).
ER scheduled for 4/24 or 4/25.

Mitzy- take care of the little bean inside you. Stcky vibes!!!!

Good Luck to all, i will write personals later. Working full time and getting up at 5am to go to the RE office is taking its toll.

Hello everyone! Thanks for all of your support and well wishes!

Mitzy: CONGRATULATIONS on your embie! I'm sure he/she is snuggling in and getting cozy! You're right, it will be all worth it in the end. Before I started all of the shots and everything I told myself I would do whatever it takes for my babies. It's still tough some days though.

Sallyc: I have hot flashes too, due to the Lupron. Mine are at night though, so it's not too bad.

Brenjamie: 8 eggs?!?!? WOO HOO!! My husband and I are planning on doing AH (assisted hatching) also. Yes, I am doing the Repronex shots SQ and I get the red welts, and my skin is very tender to the touch! I have my second scan tomorrow and I'm going to inquire about getting it IM . THANK YOU!!

CarolynB: Thanks for the cute nurse faces and CONGRATULATIONS on your wonderful start!

Luby: Sorry about the cyst! I think that right before you start your AF they're pretty common, so hopefully once they rescan you, and AF has statred it will shrink down to allow you to continue on!

Natalie Anne: It sounds like you're having a rough time! Hopefully things will get better!

Until tomorrow,
Prissy

Hello Everyone

Happy Good Friday to you all. Image

Danielle - It is now only 4 days to go. I am sure that it is so dragging but keep up those positive thoughts over Easter weekend. I have my fingers and toes crossed that you are going to get us off to a great start. Image

Brenda - I am using Puregon. Not sure why we all seem to use different drugs - guess it is different countries and different protocols and they hope that they have the one that suits us best. Took me a while to get to grips with the injection pen yesterday but today was easier. So I am on my way. Only doing 150ml per day. Guess that they start on a low dose and then see how it goes :?: Feel ok so far.

I am thinking of you today and really hoping that you ET goes well. Let us all know how you get on. Then you have two weeks of taking it easy. Image

Natalie - Wendy - Sofia - Sally - hope that the Down Reggie is not too bad. Keep going and just keep counting those days down.

Vess - Really pleased to hear that the cyst has got smaller. Good luck on getting going with stimmies tomorrow. No suppression sounds good to me. Image

Mitzy - thinking of you during the 2ww. Hope that you are able to stay positive and that you are taking it really easy. Let us know how you are doing.

Lucy - willing that cyst to disappear as soon as possible for you.

Hope that everyone else is having a relaxing & nice Easter weekend. Positive thoughts to you all.

Will update list below for my next scan.

Hi Jess

I am learning as I go but seem to get much less bruising in my tummy rather than my legs. Read on one post to look for whiter skin as less blood cells so hurts less. Try to inject quite slowly as that helps me also. Let the wipe dry for a minute also before you inject otherwise I found it can sting.

Hope that this helps a bit. It does get easier day by day.

GoodLuck. Let us know how you get on. 8) :D

Hi everyone

I am just back from ET. And it went very well. They transferred 2 and we had 3 to freeze. So I am very happy with the number that fertilized. We also did a 3 day transfer so we had a 8cell Grade A and a 7 cell Grade A-. These are the best graded embryos we've had through our 3 fresh cycles, so of course we can't help but be pretty excited!! But of course now the 2ww will seem like eternity. Hope you all have a nice Easter. I am going back to the couch and put my feet up and let those little ones get nice & comfy!

Hang in there everyone!!

I feel so down today...
I was supposed to start the stimming tomorrow.
Well, it's a no go.
Grgrgrg. 3 RE looked at my cyst. It was all good. Today the 4th one was in the clinic and he said no. I fricking cannot believe it. They made me go through all of it, including today's 525$ blood tests for what? to tell me -start again BCP.
Sigh...
I really don't know what is going to happen. He said that they might empty it through suction.
Anyway, I am loosing a cycle. This IF brings the worst in me. If it were not for the full box of madications which I already paid for, I would have canceled it for ceveral months.
Good Luck to all.

Vessi,

I feel so sorry for you, its hard enough going through all this, but to have it cancelled is awful.

Lets hope that the cyst can be sorted quickly and you can get back on the treatment asap.
