Oh my gosh, Jen posts a message to us on the day of her scheduled C-section. I feel privaledged! Oh Jen, I can't image your feelings today! How exciting!
Racquel, aren't you the one who exchanged some posts with me about twins? You had a high beta and were thinking it might be twins, right? Well, congrats!! Now you have to take good care of yourself this week and get that bleeding to go away. I'm sure you are a ball of nerves! I will keep you and your babies in my prayers this week!

Oops, sorry Jen. Your day is tomorrow, not today! I knew that. I guess I'm wishing the week to go fast or something! Good luck for tomorrow, not today. Silly me...

Hi Kirstia, just seen you picture on photo bucket and i have to say you look blooming marvelous!!!!!! I cant believe there are 2babies in there. you look really well and dont even look that big. When did you start to show? im 12 weeks in 3 days(and counting) with twins. my bump has come up all of a sudden in the last week. everyone is comenting ooooh your starting to show im 5f 1 and 8 and a half stone so im not that over weight or anything. Do you think i will go really big and im showing too early? I really dont mind im really looking forward to my bump, dont want to get too big to soon cause i will probanly gey sick of myself. im not really big but you can deffinitly see there growing in there its so exiting i never in a million years thought id see the day when my belly starts to grow cause im having i baby. babies.
Hey, thanks Hayley! This is a fun size for me...not too huge to be too uncomfortable...but big enough that everyone looks at my belly and asks me when I'm due. I'm 5'9" and started at 130 pounds (now 170 at 26 weeks).
My bump popped out at 10 weeks and I started wearing maternity pants...at 12 weeks I saw more change...and at 15 weeks I was showing enough that for the first time someone who didn't know I was pregnant asked me when I was due (so I looked pregnant finally and not just chunky). So I don't think you're showing too early...you are probably right on track.
It is amazing, huh? I pass a mirror or a window and see myself and just can't believe it. Wait until they start moving & kicking you. It's amazing too!

Kristi, here is a photo of me. I am really sorry I have a face like a slapped ass but it had been a really long day (at the in-laws)
Personally, I don't think I look that big but people keep asking me how long I've got and when I say about 8 weeks, they all say "oh my god, I was never that big at full term"!!!
I will get get hubby to take a side view of me later... this may help with the gosh factor!!!
Chelle, how fun! Great picture of you both. I think I'm on track size-wise when I see your pic. There was someone who posted a 26 week pic with twins on photobucket awhile ago and she was much bigger than me at 26 weeks. I can't help but wonder if I'm smaller or bigger for my # of weeks with twins.
Not showing off your stretch marks though, huh? I look in the mirror everyday waiting for them to appear. Still using the stretch mark cream twice a day hoping to delay it.
Oh, I wanted to tell you that I saw a different doctor today and he told me the same thing about trying Baby A naturally and then Baby B (breech) can be pulled out or turned. So that's another opinion to give that a try. Of course they agree that if there's any risk to the baby they will stop and do a c- on B. So I'm planning on making that my preference if all goes well.

I have found a UK prog. called Multiple Mums and this week featured twin boys in a 40 hour labour! All went well, though. it was actually 'dad' I felt sorry for. Poor chap didnt get to rest, and the babies were never distressed. I;ll see what tomorrow's 'episode brings'!!!!
I do think we were very lucky to find out the sex so early but our girls were very obliging and gave a clear view for us to check! The sonographer said she was just about certain and DH reckons he's convinced too!! No boys bits!!!!
It gave DH and I such a shock as we nearly forgot to ask the sex we were so focused on making sure they were growing!
Kareen, work on him! At the very least name choosing is hard .............and finding 2 of each sex is impossible!!!! You need to know!!! We need to know!!!
I am going to check out th epiccies now

Can I be added on to the twins list?? DH and I just had a 6 week sonogram today for our July IVF and confirmed twins - amazingly enough, thanks to an unbelievable IVF nurse, she was able to find/hear heartbeats on both. YAY!!!
