OMG guys!! It feels like I have been away for years!
I have very little time (only few hours internet per month and lovely nephew is hungry) I could not read all you posts, but I see we have few new buddies so welcome!!

I am so happy to be in France, home sweet home! The journey was long, and it is so hot here, thank god we have a swimmingpool!

Tomorrow is a big day for me, it is my appointment, and finally I will know more about my dates etc so you can guess that i am very excited!

I will post and tell you what is happening

Jackie, I just wanted to tell you that I started my period at 15, and I thought i was not normal as all my friends started way before me!!

Jemina, the finale was great, I am not so much into footie but it was nice to watch!

Lisa, I wish you so much luck in the coming months.... I pray that your next IVF cycle will be positive and all of your dreams will come true...

souris, so glad to hear from you again

debz, I guess I couldn't talking to embryo. :( I told my friend about this at lunch. She got her 5 year son from IVF. She couldn't stop laughing during lunch and told I was crazy :? :? Where are you moving? From where to where?
Still no news from my AF. I should stop complaining about it. All my friends and family keep checking whether i have taken the test or not. I will buy the strip tomorrow so that I have my answer to keep them silent.

Laura, if you have done the test. Would you tell me what kind the tests taken? May be it is necessary for me. I wish luck on your next cycle.

Emma, Nice to have you here...

Jackie, I miss you...

Sticky baby dust for all of you…. God Bless

hello all
You have all been very busy.. I am just been visiting with mom and going to accupuncture trying to patiently wait for September to get here.. I asked tons of questions of him last night (at accupuncture) and I feel that he really has a good idea of what he is doing. I don't totally understand the whole thing but he makes me feel very comfortable..

Souris how was your appointment (keep us posted) :D :D I am so excited for you that you get all your dates and get started soon. :D :D

Aunty how is moving going? In this heat it must be so hard. Dont work too hard you need your engergy for the BFP you will be having soon :D :D :D

Jemma
so have you tested yet? You could be our groups first natural BFP? How is your acc going. Did they use more than 3 needles this time?

Emma I am on metformin also. A lot of ladies had a problem with it but it did not bother me.. How are you doing with it? So you get to ring today to get your September dates...How exciting...

Macca my dear how are you? Any more traveling lately?

Bella just thought I would say hello and welcome you again have you been doing a lot of interenet searching :D I know I do.. I get crazy with it :D

Laura I feel the same way you do. This rollercoaster is crazy.. I am so glad you are getting the testing done. I think it will turn out just fine but I think it would make you feel better knowing that was ok. Please let us know when they set you up for the testing...

I hope I did not miss anyone..

Hello guys!
Lisa buddy, how are you doing ??

Thank you for the nice words. It was a very long day, the clinic being 1and 1/2 hour away from home (driving) and then back. But to make things funny, I dont have a car!! So I have been in train, bus, more buses and more train all day under 38 degrees C!!

All that to see my doc 10 min (as usual) BUT I have my estimate EC date, which will be around the 5th of september! We have to cheat a bit with the dates, because we need DH to be here, so I will take the downregg med double the usual length... I hope the stimms will do their job better this time!
SO I am starting downregg on the 7th of august!

I am so very sorry, I wish I could chat more and do some personals but as I said, I have only few hours internet... I miss you guys and I miss posting all day long...

I got my blood work done this morning. They actually came to my house to do the blood draw. It's a special lab that only does infertility testing called Repromedix. I think they're based out of Boston but do work all over the country.

Jemima, the tests they did were Anti-cardiolipin Ab's, Lupus Anti-Coagulant, Antithrombin Activity, Factor V, Fasting Homocysteine, Protein C Activity and Protein S Activity. All of these test for conditions that can cause a woman to repeatedly miscarry.

Jackie, hope you are having a great time with your mom!

Best wishes!

Hello to all my Fertility Friends.......

I went to the clinic on Monday for my fasting insulin & glucous tests as I have been taking Metformin for almost a year now. Well stopped for 3 months and both times I got a negative, Well anyway when I stimulated the last time my insulin was 17 and they said that was high and I would not stimulate well. 41 eggs 30 fertilized 6 good, yeah I would say I didn't make the best quality eggs.
They thought I was there to start my protocol, she hands me a paper and syas ok go get your blod and I look down and it says day 3 bllodwork, fsh, beta, & EZ. I said whoa, I am not on day 3 and I am not here to start back yet I am just getting my Insulin done. The nurse says oh I am so sorry but you look great and I thought you were here to start, your new protocol is all written up by the doctor, I said can I see it...
Thank god she lowered my dosages to start as I told her I can not overstimulate again, The thought of it makes me not want to go back. I had it very severely.
I have been on a 6 month break, I tested 3 months ago and my insulin was down to 13 which was good. I have lost alot of weight and have been really trying to be good.....
Well today they called and my test came back......
my fasting insulin is 10 I am very excited as that means if it stays low like this I will make better quality eggs.
I pray everyday that this will be the last time because I don't think I can go again if this dosen't work.
The disappointment is .... well you all know.
DH & I have a change jar , it is a huge bank like 2 feet tall, and we call it the baby fund. Our goal is to save up for 1 years worth of diapers. It kind of lightens up the whole IVF drama.
Glad everyone is on track now....
Souris my girl... Good luck... thinking of you.
Thank you all for being my venting board....
LOTS OF BABY DUST BLOWING YOUR WAY....
XOXOXOXOXO

Lisa, so glad about your insulin. Wish you the best.

Laura, thanks a lot for info. I will discuss with my DR about it.

Jackie, i wanted to do test. but I don't think so. Isn’t it sad when you do something that you have already known the result? I lied to my friends and family. I said AF came. I felt bad about it. Very very bad. I cried when I told my family. They hug me, thought I was upset not being pregnant. It was not about pregnant, I cried because I lied to them. :( I can't tell them about our condition. I think it is the best. :(
AF still no news. See my ticker has been changed from August 6 to August 14.

Jackie, my Acc DR is not using 3 needles. He used 1 needle. He pushed it in some spots. Took only about 3 minutes. No machine. How many needles your Accu use?

I have to go. It is good to see some of us do something related to our program. I pray that each of us will get BFP. Baby dusts to all of you.

Luv, Jemma

quick post today because I have been running

Bella (Lisa) that is wonderful news the metformin really seems to have made a huge impact.. After I was on it for one year it decreased my level substanially also.. I can tell you that I belive it will make a huge change in your quality of eggs.. I only had the one (which I think had more to do with just the way the cycle went and maybe the smoking) but the quality of the one was great... It stuck but than we know the rest of the story.. My point is that I really think the metformin will give you a great quality.. That is wonderful news.. I really like your baby jar idea...

Jemma
I am sorry and I can only imagine how you feel about lying to your family. I have been in your shoes with the test or not to test situation and its not a good one.. You don't want to test because you feel like you already know the outcome.. I wish there was a magical way we could just see the future.. I know for me I dont expect a baby today but if I could just see how this was all going to work out it would be better...
My acc uses 10-15 needles this last time he put them in all new places.. Its kind of funny because I have no idea if this is doing anything but we shall see.. Keeping up the PMA right...

Aunty how is packing are you ok in this heat.. Dont melt away from us :D
Have you looked into volunteering anywhere? We miss you but we know you will be back soon.

Macca how are you doing my dear.. I have just been visiting with mom and getting some sun.. Which is funny because I do not tan well (Irish in me) so I have a little pink color.Which is nice for me.

Laura that was so nice that they came to your house. I have heard of those test and I think it is great that you got them done. When will they have your results? I am sure they will be good..

Souris don't feel bad about not posting a lot.. We know its hard and as long as you pop in we will be happy to know you are still here with us...

Ok off to shop with my mom
Love and hugs to all

Hi All,

Let me also join in this forum
I ended up with missed abortion after my positive pregancy from 1st IVF-ICSI. Ended up with D&C on 5th July [@ 6 weeks].

Now scheduled for FET in September. My IVF specialist said that I should wait for 3 full months before proceeding with 2nd attempt.

But my gynecologist said that there is no hard and fast rules on that. and after looking into my uterus yesterday (2 weeks after D&C) she really encouraged me to go forward with FET in August/Sept. According to her, it looks pretty fine.

I have 5 frozen embryos. and hope they all will survive.

I wish you all a very good luck, and looking forward for your support.

Regards
Saxony.

Hi to all. I would like to join you. I am brand new to all this, and this will be my first attempt at IVF.

I am waiting for AF to arrive (probably in two weeks) and then everything starts. I am sooooo nervous...mostly about all those injections and the side effects of them all. I am so sensitive to medication.

Anyway...just wanted to introduce myself. I am routing for you all!

Hello all,

Just adding myself to the group, I'm also in August, but will probably be a August/September crossover by the time my period comes!

I'm new to all this stuff and only just found out that IVF could be an option for me so am delighted and over the moon.

Good luck to everyone, I'll be thinking of you lots and wishing you all the best,

Eileen xx :D
