Mia - a closet IVFer and a closet HPTer!!! to be honest with you as much as I completely tempted to POAS I think that I would doubt any result I got. Which would then add to my crazy obssession, waiting until Sat is torture especially since they will know something tomorrow! Yes,I am more gassy than ever, I don't know if it is because of the swelling, I feel everything. Also a little constipated
Rin - positive thoughts your way! Definitely keep the faith, I know it is hard in this numbers game but you need one embie!

Well I was relieved to read some other posts of girls with huge bellies, seriously, you would think that I am 5 months pregnant, sooo distended. I have been wearing (new) loose clothes and I am so shocked no one at work has asked me yet... some girls said the swelling goes down during your first 2 mos to give way to baby bump. Did any of your REs warn you of this? Mine didn't... I am glad I have this post to check symptoms with you girls!!!

I need your good thoughts and prayers for a BFP tomorrow morning!!! (even if I only find out 2 days later)

Rin: That's the Rinnie we all know Way to keep up the PMA!! So I take it you are going through with IVF??? Good for you eating helathy. Dh and I have been eating out a lot this week, and I am sure thatisn't helping!

Suga: Yes ask your RE tomorrow what you can take for that cough, you def want to try and get rid of it. Try standing in the bathroom with hot water runnig to loose it up and get rid of it.

Tammy: I hope your sinus infection starts clearing up. Sounds like many girls get sick during the 2ww even with the antibiotics, I wander if it has to do with our bodies just being exhausted from all of the poking prodding and meds??

Rio: My prenatal vitamins really help with the constipation. In fact I have never been so regular. I skipped mine today ( never had time) and I haven't gone. But I am sure you are already on vitamins...

Dh and I went out to eat tonight and he reminded me how I am not a babymaker for him and if this doesn't turn out the way we hope we still have eachother He was very encouraging and supportive, so I feel ready to get my babies in me!!!! Can't wait to hear how the boogers are doing by tomorrow!!

Mia: I am feeling pretty good...sinus infection feels better today. DH has been bugging me all week. I think knowing they cant have it, makes them want it even more! Ugh.

Bat: Hear it...7-8 weeks from what the girls are saying. See it 6-7 weeks. Can someone else confirm? What did the doc say about the odds of transferring only one?

rio how's yer tummy today? keep taking it easy- I took today and tomorrow off as well - even if I feel better - I know myself far too well to think that I could go teach welding to a bunch of 18yo's and not lift something I'd regret!! Sat will be here before you know it- and a bfp is in your cards!! what kind of dog? we have a great dane, and he sleeps in bed w/ us a few times a week - those puppy dreams are terrible- his legs alone are almost 3 feet long and he runs in his sleep! OW!!!!

corny I'm so glad to hear you're starting on the 7th ER and ET will be here before you know it!!

rin don't fret there will be a little emby to transfer, I just know it -ET is tomorrow?

bat 25 min is not enough for the numbing cream to work- wait an additional 20 minute (45 total -at least) and I think you'll find that you don't feel a thing! I don't even hurt later ( of course we've only done 4 shots so far)

katie hang in there- sorry you're so bloated - exercising is not the answer - get yourself some new duds, or I've seen this great thing- it's called the "Bella Band"( look it up on the web) I think it will work great for you right now, and as soon as you get that BFP on the 7th!! I'm going to get one to sort of keep my puffy in check!

mia great news on the fert front - they didn't wait to see if any of my immature ones matured overnight -hope yours did and there are 3 more !!! and don't spend all that $$$ on sticks- you'll be wasting little embie's college tuition!!!

tammy my test is on 11 feb as well!!!!!!! yippee- we're 2ww buddies again- i'll try to hold of the POAS if you can!

So ET was yesterday at noon, Dh had surgery at 7am, got him at 9:30, and brought him home to recover- he doesn't do so well with anesthesia -, then I drank a ton of water, and my dear friend (nat, unplanned preg -ds born 7 Dec) went with me to the hospital - she was great, but couldn't come back with me to chat with the RE -
I was under the impression, up until that point, that I still had 6 good looking embies-which after retrieving 16 eggs, still seemed sort of low...- RE told me there were now only 4 that were viable 7-8cell buddies, and of those, B-Cish and 1 was an E- very fragmented, so realistically only 3 were good enough to give it a try. Dh still wanted only to do 2, but I made an executive decision (along w/the RE) that we'd do 3, and if all 3 made it, we'd cross that bridge when we came to it. I know Dh really is just looking out for me as even 1 might land me on bedrest due to my not so super spine. So 3 it is!!! and damned the torpedoes!!!!!!!!!!!
I am confident that we'll get a BFP this time, and the thought of frosties was a sort of insurance policy as I didn't think I could go through all of the shit again. I know I could now - I feel strong and even more sure that we are supposed to be parents than ever before -and for now, we are PUPO and going with it! -and on a side note: did any of you get a photo of your embies? I did! all 3 and an ultrasound of the REs putting them in.
3 is a magic number!

Okay, I had a bit of a mini-meltdown last night. I really felt like I started my period, so I ran to the bathroom, and of course, I did not. I have had the minor bits of discharge from the PIO and am used to that, but it really felt like I started.

I started making dinner and just started crying. My DH was just hugging me and asking me to be positive, which I am most of the time. It is just so hard, this dang burned 2ww.

My DH told me to get a test today and we could decide if I will take it this weekend. I don't want to get it today, because my DH has an accounting class tonight for 3 1/2 hours and I will be alone and will want to take it. I don't even know if I should get one. Everything RIO says applies to me as well, I don't know if I would trust it.

Oh well, I guess I will decide later.

Mia- Wow. You get a report today? Lucky you. I won't find out anything more until I go for ET tomorrow. Let us know the minute you find out.

Bat- How are you today? Sounds like our RE's do it the same. Schedule the ET and then push is back if they can.

....and Rio....I hope that today's lab work doesn't put you over the edge. Stay strong my friend You only have until Saturday!!!!!! Besides, you know it's going to be a BFP!

Kbear- Sorry to hear about the meltdown. Stay strong! You don't have much longer to wait before you get that BFP. It was nice to read how compasionate your DH is.

Loopie- Way to go!! So you and DH were both laid up yesterday, huh? I hope both of you are having a better day today. Rest up and keep those embies snug and cozy!

I need to ask....Is the spotting, up and down emotions, cramping, and bloating normal after ET? Is this because of the PIO? I'm just curious as to what I can expect after tomorrow. If I have questions left unanswered, my overactive imagination tends to get the best of me.

Weezie---I have not had spotting but they say you can and its fine. I have had the bloating cramps. The cramping for me has been more of sharps pains really low and come and go. Not like consistant cramps I get 2-3 times a year right before AF. So im glad its different.

Keep strong all of you that are staying away from POAS. I agree I think it would make it worse. I have another week from test so lets see what I say about it next week.

Loopie: My 2ww buddy! I think you made a great decision to transfer 3. My doc said based on us being 39 and transferring 3...that out of 100 women...40 will get pregnant...28 will have a singleton...10 twins...and 2 triplets. I am sure that is probably pretty close to national averages too. You just upped your chances and will still get a BFP with 1 or 2. What did DH say? How is he feeling? How are you feeling? I got pics too ...but no ultrasound. How awesome...so DH was able to see them then. Send me your pics and I will send you mine. LOL

Kbear: I feel ya...on the meltdown...I am starting to feel that way too. I am glad your DH is sooo sweet and understanding. Instead of you picking up the POAS can you have him pick it up on his way home from classes...that way you wont be tempted to take it without him? Of course ...your DH may be more shy about it than mine. LOL I make him pick up tampons too. LOL If you decide to do ...Good Luck! When is your test date? Dont do it too early.

Bat: What is new?

Katie: I am bloated too. I am gonna have to go try on my work pants here in a minute and see if they even fit for tomorrow. I may be going shopping today yet.
