LOU-...I am very sorry but I am glad to see your not giving up hope! I am thinking of you and your DH and I hope you get the answers you both need next week. (((HUGS)))

BABYBLU-Goodluck tomorrow with ur ET...lots of rest and keep us posted! Pick out some movies now..

Klinger-Are you from NJ? Heard you say trenton...hope you got everything all figured out and now I cant wait to see how many eggs you get...grow FOLLIES GROW!!!!!

MACFAMILY-Dont give uo yet!!

Lauren319---Oh..I know there are NO words ..but I just want you to know Im thinking of you and your DH and I am truly sorry for what you had to go thru...ur right IVF suxs and its terrible the things we go thru but I believe thngs will work out and the things that happen to us no matter good or horrible make us stronger and better people! I hope you meet with ur RE and get the answers you need to get ur PMA back! Take care..

AFM-AF will be here any minute..hour...day...and I hopefully will go in for my baseline and starts stims! I hope I still have a nice amount of potential follies...Does anyone know what exactly that number means??? Just curious!! So if all goes as plans I will be a ER in 2 weeks....and the dreaded 2WW...AKA Crazytown!! Other than that ive been busy working. I actually deliver babies I am Labor nurse...and its been very busy at work and I see patients whom are IVF patients so dont give up hope ladies. My DH is pretty negative about it all. IDK why but when I say something like when we get pregnant...he always says "IF" he tells me I shouldnt get my hopes up bc it may never happen and if it does it would be a wonderful blessing! I just think he cant handle more negative...we honestly do have the WORST luck with everything we come into contact with!! Anyway hope you ladies enjoy the rest of ur weekend!

Much love
Lauren

Lou, this IVF stuff is such a mind-f*ck, isn't it? All these pregnancy symptoms that trick us. I'm in your cheering section.

ET went well today. Protocol for my age is to transfer 3 embryos, but I put the kibosh on that. I just don't want to go into triplet-ville. So, they transferred 2 ,8-celled, grade 2 embryos. I can deal with twins, (although I'd prefer not to). They're culturing 4 embryos to the blast stage and hopefully they survive freezing.

I was happily surprised that the ET was so painless and quick. My bladder was full, but I've been so bloated from the hormones and sore from the ER, that my bladder seemed like the least of my worries. I got my valium, my partner held my hand, and I had peach french toast afterwards. You can't beat that.

I have not figured out how to remember everyone's name/situation to write personal messages. It's not easy to scan back; this message board system is pretty clunky. Anyway, sending best wishes to everyone on this journey with me.

What would I do without my girls? Thank you for the support and for making me feel better! I should not let anyone make me feel like this but with moms it is always hard not to! Thank you girls you are life-savers and sanity savers!

Lou - my heart is breaking for you, I am so sorry you got a BFN this time. I am glad you are not giving up. There is a doctor in Calinfornia named Zouves, he specializes in people who for some reason can't get preggers with IVF, he has some extensive testing he does, more than other clinics. If you google him maybe you can discuss those extra tests with your RE and see if that might be a cause. Just an idea. Huge hugs for you and DH.

moorebaby- hoping and praying for lots of nice looking spermies, congrats on getting your baby in a box!

babyblu - good luck with ER and lots of mature eggs, hope you are feeling better!

Tammy - so glad to see you here! Glad the US went well, I don't think I could deal with a special needs child either, some amazing people can, there is so much testing you can do to figure this out and many women over 40 have healthy babies, they just like to scare the crap out of you!!! If you were trying naturally you would have not even known like most women that you even started a pregnancy. I know this is all very hard but you are an amazing woman and deserves another baby!

amanda - I will buy you a ticket if you come kick her ass ;) LOL! 50" plasma we are all going to your house for movie night!!! How have you been feeling, ok from the assh*** that hit you?

klinger - thank you, nothing you said upset me you are absolutely right. She probably is jealous of my life and shits on me to feel better about herself. I really think my son and DH are priorities and not an immaculate house! 5 follies for one ovary is awesome! Sorry about the extra $$ but all worth it for your little hun that's coming soon!!! Grow follies!

karenthescorpio - Maybe our moms are twins? ;) I did tell her everything I thought, that she was cruel, messed up and that she should be happy for me and not shit on the people she loves. She really is insane, I am convinced now. That she cannot love me for who I am and only looks for my faults is insane and I hope I never ever make anyone feel like this. She does not listen to a word I say I even tried emailing her and it doesn't matter. Thank you so much for your support!

macfamily - HPTs can be wrong don't give up hope yet!

margi26 - this journey really does play a number on your whole body and not to mention your mind! Your mom seems egocentric like mine. She would be happy if I was in size 2, immaculate house and completely miserably married. Go figure! I think you are right about the distance, I am trying and then I get blamed for it too. I am glad I am not alone in the crazy mom dept! Thank you for your support it is hard to think you need distance from your mom who should nurture you but instead craps on you. Not going to be a waste on low dose, you never know and it might be the lucky one!!!

Tess - My dad died when I was 19 and I moved out of the country when I was 22 best thing I ever did! Thank you! I tried telling her how I feel I bite my tongue to not say anything mean just that she is being cruel and she should not treat me this way but she thinks she is right and that's the end of it. private OB is a great idea! The smells too funny I remember that! How did you manage not to barf yourself? ;) When is your US?

Osi - Don't lose your cool DHs sometimes don't get it especially when you are in pain. I hope the US goes well!

Welcome back nbfun Nancy!

AFM - I was being nice this morning and biting my tongue to take the high road, mom told my aunt, "good to give her a yelling once in a while see how nice she is being now?" I just can't win with an insane person! 3 more days and counting thank God I did not cycle now with her here it would be BFN for sure. Looking forward to DH b-day coming, he is such a sweetie. He is wearing pants with holes and paint to irk here, he is so funny! Love you girls! Thank you again!!! I feel much better after reading such nice things!

Wow, lots of action on here since yesterday!

Meinemo - YAY on a great ET!! Congrats on being PUPO and hope you're enjoying a lazy day today while those embies snuggle in! And I agree, it is not easy to scan back. On busy days like today, I have my list open in a Word doc to make the list updates and a little notebook next to me for personals or I'd never remember things. Some days I'll only do a couple personals cause I'm just too lazy to jot it all down after getting the updates for the list. :D

Carrie (carebear) - Any update on how your ER/ET went???

Sonya & baby_blu - Good luck today with your ET's!! So exciting that you two will be PUPO very soon!!

Tammy - I am so excited to read that you're thinking of trying again! So are you ready to move on the list??? I'm all ready to move you as soon as you decide to say it out loud. :D

macfamily - Don't give up yet! It's still early so I'm not giving up hope yet.

margi - I hope your stimming will give you great results and not understim you. Keep us posted and vent anytime!!

karen (scorpio) - YAY for starting Lupron today!! Glad you're getting things going again.

karin - I had you down for starting Lupron yesterday. Was that right? If so, YAY for getting started back up on this cycle!

Tess - What a crazy time you had after your dermoid removal - DAMN!! But thanks for sharing that story, it gave my ovary hope LOL. I actually had a dermoid on my right ovary that they removed when I had my tubal reversal surgery. Then I ended up losing that ovary with my first e/p, so that ovary seemed to be jinxed from the start.

Osi - Good luck with today's SnS! The nurse said (completely guessing) I could trigger Tuesday for a Thursday ER. But of course we'll know more tomorrow when I have my next SnS.

NancyB - glad to see you here with a new name. I would have hated to lose my cycle buddy! :D Good luck at your SnS tomorrow! Cool that our SnS appts have synched up now, now we'll have to see if our ER dates match up.

Lou - I again am so sorry for that completely shitty BFN yesterday. I'm really glad you & DH decided not to give up yet. We'll be thinking of you lots and we'll be ready to cheer you on in December.

Lauren - Not originally from NJ but yep, currently living here in Burlington County. And at the moment, I'm very glad we do so we could just pop up to Trenton to grab the meds. Are you in NJ also? You'd think living in NJ my IVF would be covered since it's a mandated state, but we don't fall under that because our health insurance is not written in NJ...UGH, I hate loopholes that work against us. BTW, I'm doing the AF dance for you now. :)

rio - I am so glad your visit with mom is almost over. And big high-five to DH for trying to piss her off with his ratty pants...round of applause for DH. And you're right, the extra $$ will be worth it!

AFM, just chilling this weekend. We did pick up my additional meds yesterday so we're good through Monday. Now we just need to see how tomorrow's SnS goes to see if we're going to get the word to trigger Tuesday or if we'll need to call up Alexander's for more meds. Ahhh, the suspense

Here's the list for today. Things have been super busy on this thread so if I missed anything or have a date wrong or something, don't hesitate to let me know!

macfamily....YAY for a positive HPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amanda (klinger).....Your ovary is doing a great job! I can't wait to hear when you get to trigger!

Rio....Your mom seems like a real trip. I can't offer any advice, but I'll listen when you need to vent :)

Meinemo.....Congrats on being PUPO!!!

Lauren...Doing the AF dance for you!

Lou...I am so, so sorry, but glad that you and DH were able to talk and decide to try again. You so deserve to me a mom!

Nancy...Welcome back under your new name!

Tammy....So good to hear from you...and if you're looking for a sign..... GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY!!!! There you go!

Baby_blue...I hope Et goes wonderfully today!

ESter...Yay for baby in a box! I'm so glad you're close to starting again!

Sonya....32 eggs?! Holy crap! I hope youre taking good care of yourself!

Krys...Do you get your beta checked again? Or are you waiting for an us??

Sorry for such quick personals, but I have a sleeping pup on my lap making it very diffucult to type!

AFM...It's been a crazy busy week adjusting to 2 dogs, but we are just about settled in now. Boots and Sox get along great and I love to watch them play. I keep asking DH what poor Boots did before her brother! She must have been bored out of her mind!

Dad had his heart shocked back into rhythm and is home from the hospital again. Back to the waiting game with him.

I have been on 20 units of Lupron since Monday. I keep up with that until my appt 10/25 at which point I should start estrace. It sounds like we are aiming for Nov. 11 ET. AF came today, which I hope is ok when I'm on Lupron??? Anyone know?

And in sad news...I have to change my signature to reflect that I am now 25! Having my family over for my birthday...Bears Game and wings. Doesn't get much better than that!

I hope you all have a good SundaY!

Klinger-Yes I live in Atlantic County! I get my meds thru the mail...and yes loopholes SUCK!! Ive also heard of companies not having to offer it bc if they have less than a certain amount of employees they dont have too and thn others who only offer insemination...like mine where we needed strictly IVF!! I feel like AF will be here by tomorrow I am spotting...oh and so pleasant as my DH says!! haha thxs cheering those follies!!!!

MACfamily-YAY!!!!!!! I ams o happy for you! Football game...sounds like my DH. What an awesome surprise I wouldnt be able to hold it in I would be calling him like crazy!! haha Thats awesome cant wait to see your beta tues! How many days post are you? Forgive me I forget!

Ryann-HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Have an awesome day..love wings if I could I would eat them all the time! 25 is NOT that bad...you are still very young..enjoy it girl!

Franny-thinking of you..

RIO-your DH doing that reminds me of my DH he would do something like that! I am so sorry you have to deal with that. You know that your a good person and a good mom and that your not defined by your messy house or anything like that! As long as you and your DH are happy w/eachother as far as Im concerned that mess will still be there and can wait to be cleaned up! your family is whats important and todays families are very busy! hang in there girl..

AFM-Lazy day! Getting anxious..trying to figure out what I should do about work. How do you ladies handle that? I work 3 12hr shifts...and you know how we never know exactly when ER is or ET will be...oh well guess Ill figure something out!

Not doing so good today. Folls growing ok but my ES is too high 18000 as of yesterday. If they don't go down then they may have to cancel my cycle. Waiting for the results of today's bloods. Think I will take a nap, depressed!

Krys - I'm so sorry hun. It's so hard to have that happiness of a positive beta and then go through beta hell. Keep us posted on how you're doing.

Osi - No!! I'm sorry you're having this added stress now. I sure hope your level goes down so you can continue on with your cycle. Let us know how your b/w comes back today.

Ryann - Happy 25th Birthday!!! OMG, 25 seems like so long ago LOL!! I'm glad Boots and Sox are loving each other and glad to hear your dad is home again. And woo-hoo on having an approx ET date (and 11/11 is my grand-daughter's b-day so it's a great day!)

macfamily - Awesome news on the BFP this morning!! Can't wait to hear what your beta result is on Tuesday!

Lauren - So cool that you're not that far from me! Yeah, usually my meds get shipped from Alexander's and Freedom Pharmacy, but I was glad to be close to Alexander's when I found out I was going to need more meds for Sunday night. And UGH that's a crappy loophole you got dealt too. Double UGH!!

Good afternoon ladies!

riogirl - Just wanted to let you know that in my opinion, it sounds like your mom is just a miserable person herself and you know what they say about misery... So be strong and resist the temptation to give her the company!

lou - My heart goes out to you and your dh... Stay strong and positive, girl! Praying for you...

meinemo - Congrats on the successful ET! Can't wait to hear first Beta #s!

osi - Sorry to hear about your news, is there anything they can do to get the level down? Prayer said for you...

macfamily - So happy for you! Looking forward to hearing official Beta results, fingers and toes crossed for you!

afm My ET went well, I think. Out of the 12 fertilized, only 2 made it to the transfer. I guess it's a blessing in disguise cuz they were only gonna transfer 1, but opted to do both of them since they were the only ones that made it. My MIL was gonna give the doc the business if he tried to do only one  She said I've been thru too much to take that chance. She's such a sweet lady. Either who, feeling hopeful and relieved... I'm gonna just chill for a few days and take it easy.

I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers! :D

I'm gonna just chill for a few days and take it easy.

I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers! :D
I'm so happy you got to transfer two embies... that's wonderful news. Kudos to your MIL - awesome to have people stick up for you at times like this. Much luck with your beta. I had my ET today as well.

I had my ET today. We ended up with 8 good embryos and transferred 3.
1 3AA
1 3AB
1 2AB
The embryologist thinks the other five will make it to freezing, so we are thrilled with the outcome. My doctor talked me out of transferring three the first time we did IVF.... this time I would not be swayed. I want to take my chances. I will be, of course, testing out my trigger starting on Tuesday, which will be 7 days past retrieval.
