Yes, the OHSS has made me feel pregnant way before my time!

I can't imagine two sets of twins. It just doesn't seem possible. On my OHSS ultrasound today, the doctor saw one definite little bean but just maybe a second. He asked me about cramping and bleeding (I've had none) and then said it was too early to be sure and changed the subject!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to pop in and say congrats to all the BFP's this week! You all have been busy.

I have been reading your posts, but just didn't feel like posting. Today is better. I think we are going to try again, but not until January or Feb. I keep pushing it farther and farther away. Even though IVF only lasts a few weeks, when its over it feels like i've had the last 6 months sucked out of me. I just want Dh and I to be normal for a few months and get through the holidays. I started to think over the last year and I counted how many months this year we got to try to make a baby on our own and it was July. One stinkin month. I thought wow- we need a break!!

I'll keep reading and post when I can. Take care everyone and thank you for all your support over the last months!
Jenn

October BFP

Post by txpacotaco »

Hi -

I'm also new to this board and haven't gotten to know any of you... we got a BFP last Wed at 11dp3dt and I go in for my 2nd beta tomorrow.

I'm so happy to have found so many women going through IVF!!! What a great place to find support.

We've been so lucky - we have both male and female factor and if we hadn't decided to go down this road I'm pretty certain we would never have been able to have children of our own. But I can't shake the feeling that this is all going to fall apart. I don't feel worried or stressed so much - just don't want to get too excited yet.

I guess part of it is that I'm not experiencing any morning sickness; in fact, other than very sore breasts (which is normal for me anyway) and a few twinges in the area of my uterus I don't feel pregnant at all. It'll be a relief to find out what my numbers are tomorrow!!!

Good luck to all the October Buddies!!

Welcome Rachel and Congratulations!
Your post sounded exactly like me. I feel the same way. I'm trying not to get too excited and still cant believe I got a BFP. I'm sure you will feel better after your test tomorrow. You are among friends here so whenever you feel like you need to talk just let us know. This is a wonderful place I am so happy I found it.

Jen - It is nice to hear from you and that you are doing ok. I am happy to hear that you are going to try again. You are often in my prayers. Keep in touch.

Malinka - How are you doing?

Take care everyone.

Rachel- Congrats on your BFP and for finding this great group of ladies... they have helped me through so much already. Also just a side note... there is a board created for BFP's awaiting scans! Maybe go there....

Well I can tell you I'm 7 weeks now and I just started feeling slight morning sickness last week so no worries if your not feeling anything just yet. Give it time... 4 weeks is still kind of early.

Alright BecP, Xrayem, and Jill, it's all down to us!!

How you are guys feeling?! I am having some weird "sensations" around my ovaries every now and then today. Wouldn't call them cramps. My boobs don't hurt anymore which bums me out...but oh well!
Have y'all been tempted to do a HPT??! I have some at home that I have had since my FET but haven't used them yet.
I'll see how long I can wait - will prolly take one for sure Saturday morning before I go to my blood test. It's just torture waiting all day long!

Ok ladies, hope you are feeling good and positive! :)

Hi Ladies!

FOF, hang in there. These last few days will creep but you will soon have that answer. I'm saying prayers that you will get the news you so deserve!

Rachel, welcome to Oct. Buddies and congratulations! You have come to the right place for support and encouragement. I wish you a very exciting and healthy 9 months ahead!

Brit10, I love watching your numbers go up! I'm so happy for you. Keep us posted on how you're feeling.

Jen, I'm so glad to know you are taking some time for you. I felt the same way, this past year has just been consumed by this process. I hope that you will come back and visit and when you are ready, we will be here to cheer you on!

Well, I went in for my 2nd blood workup yesterday and I went from 132 to 1,365 in 4 days!!!! I was so relieved! I go in next Monday for my first scan so I'm hoping we will be able to see something. I feel like a lot of you in that I haven't had any symptoms yet. Other than being a little more tired than normal, which I attribute to my cold, I feel fine. My doc says give it time and it's still early. I guess it just won't feel real until I feel different. My doc said to be careful what I wish for though.

I gotta get back to work but just wanted to say hi. Hope everyone on the 2ww isn't going crazy. Hope all of you expecting are feeling good!!

Hey Allison, I am also going crazy wanting to know if this worked. I have to wait until next Monday for my test and am trying really hard to not take a home test. We'll see if I actually make it. I am not really having any symptoms other than twinges in abdoman. But I keep reminding myself that there have been lots of women on this site that have not had any symptoms and still got a BFP so hopefully we are like them. Stay strong and grow babies grow!!

Well ladies a lot of BFPS since I last checked!! Wonderful news!!!

I haven't been able to type much recently as I've been laid up with food poisoning. Of all the things to get when I'm trying to grow some embies. I'm pretty upset about it. I've spoken to the hospital and they say if it's meant to be, they will stick and not be affected by the food poisoning, but I can't believe my bad luck. I've avoided all the risky foods and think it was a bog standard pepperoni pizza that gave it to me!!!

Anyway, the better news is.... I did a HPT yesterday ( a few days early I know!)..... 11dp2dt.... and got a BFP!!! So I rang the clinic and went in this morning for my bloods, waiting on the phonecall to confirm it.... so at the moment it's a cautious BFP for me. Please don't update your list till I post my numbers later. I don't want to tempt fate with this food poisoning bug in me.

Anyway, off back to bed. Will post when I know my numbers....
xx

Good Morning Everyone!

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing this morning.

BecP - I'm so sorry about the food poisioning. That must be awful. But I am so excited regarding the HPT results. I'll pray that your numbers are good. Let us know as soon as you hear something. Are you sure it is food poisioning and not pregnancy symptoms?

Jstrandlund & FOF - Just a few more days. Hang in there. I'm praying for you both for BFP!

Believebaby - Wow! I can't believe how much your numbers increased. That is great. Congratulations!

Everyone - How are you all feeling?

As for me I have an appointment tomorrow to see how my numbers are. Hopefully they went up like they should. I'm feeling ok. Just a little yucky (if that makes any sense, I just don't know how to describe it). I am a little tired and my stomach feels a little woozy but my stomach usually gives me trouble so I dont know if it is just acting up again or if it is preg. symptoms. I still can't let myself get my hopes up yet. I know it is still very early and so many things can happen but I am doing my best to have a PMA.

All my best,
Nance
