I think its over for me I am starting to spot 11 post et.I am on progesteron pessaries aswell but its not helping.

Holly, I'm spotting also today and cramping. But that could be a good sign of implantation of an embrio. Don't give up yet.

I guess I've been more depressed. I seem to get the holiday blues. I believe it's all hormonal. Our poor dh's...

I'm very moody.

I wish AF would just come show her face so I could get going with my life. My clinic shuts the IVF lab down for 2 weeks in Dec - Jan so I'll have this next cycle off but will start back on a microflare cycle in Jan.

AF arrived today. So, I go see RE tomorrow to plan out my next IVF in January. How are you doing?

I think af is here but every time I put progesteron pessaries in it holds it off for another 11 hours. I was spotting this time yesterday and again tonight.I have talked with my husband and I will not be taking any more meds tonight and get things over with.

Holly, sorry to hear that. When will you meet with your doc again? I went today and I am already stimming again tonight. I was really surprised that I would get to do IVF this month but RE said everything looked ok. Take care of yourself!

I have no frosties the letter came yesterday.So I will see next year, Iam on holiday in feb so maybe march.

AF stands for "Ant Flow" or menstrual cycle (period).

Hi Gilrs

I am sorry I haven't been posting here of late (or anywhere for that matter). I just got so fed up of this whole merry go round - rollercoaster of emotions and had to take some time out!

Jovigal and Holly - my you two have been through the mill have you not? Jovigal you had IVF right? and are having another cycle right now and Holly you were going to but it got reverted to IUI is that right?) I am sorry to hear that we are all still waiting on that elusive BFP,

I have now had 5 DI's (intra cervical insem rather than inta uterine) - all BFN

I really want to progress to DIVF but can't as the remaining 5 ampules of donor sperm we have are only allowed to be used for DI/DIUI and not allowed to be used for DIVF. This is because of law changes and donors having a capped limit on the number of families / pregnancies they produce so if I did go through IVF and got a BFN I wouldn't be allowed to use any frosties as this would count as a potential pregnancy in the future and they want to use the donor again in June 2007 if he has not reached his limit og pregnancies. So for now I am stuck with going through more DI's until all the ampules are used up. Dh and I have made an appt to go for a consultation at another hopsital about it as our local unit have said they can't offer us DIVF at all because there are no donors! So plan is to go straight onto DIVF around May time if need be.

Gilrs why do you think IUI (DI for me) isn't working for us?? I am totally bewildered as to why I am still here, not pregnant 5 months down the line.

Anyway hope you are both feeling a bit better and hello to anyone else who posts here now too xxx

Hey Lis! Good to hear from you again. I'm sorry your not pg yet. IUI's just don't work for everyone. If anyway that you can move to IVF, I would.

I'm on CD10 (IVF) with EC to be on Saturday. Last cycle I tried for IVF but only had 2 follies mature so we did IUI instead. This time, RE maxed out my menopur dosage (6amps per night). U/S today only showed 2 mature follies so far with 4 or 5 smaller follies. I'm stimming for 1 more night to try to push the small ones. GROW FOLLIES GROW! I'm afraid that this is the most that my poor old ovary can produce so we're going for IVF no matter.

How is everyone else doing? Ready for Christmas?

jovigal, do you know why your ovarys are not producing many follicles? the folly fairy is doing her dance for you, sending you best of luck for some big follicles, how many follicles are actually needed in ivf??

We will try IVF in 2007, not sure when exactly.....

Lisa, honey you know what, iui still may work for you? You have 5 sperm vials left so dont give up hope yet!! You might not even need ivf...

Good luck for your IVF aptm on the 19th, let know what happens!!
