I'm new to the forum, hope I can join in.
I'm stimming right now, and like Nimble, have the slowest follicles. ER has been tentatively pushed back from Wed/Thurs to the weekend.

10dp2dt = 10 days passed a 2 day transfer ..... (i hope LOL) which is what i am now - only 4 more sleeps lol

About the HPT in the other thread, i was asking Ems if her clinic had not given her one to come home with after her ET as they did with me. As she said she has t go out and buy one!!
I think its awful that u have to go out and buy one, after all the money u pay for the treatment u would think they wud give u a measley HPT!!

AND

I would think that a blood test would also be in order (my clinic doesnt do blood test after hpt) i think we should demand one lol

I wouldnt worry about slow growing follies (or urself Jackie) mine were also slow growing and i had to go an extra day of ther menupour (which made me extremley pi**ed off, an extra £60 too!!! lol) but im glad i did, cos when i went back for EC i had 12 eggs - so dont worry, there could also be a few wee ones hiding behind ur big ones that dont wont to come out to play yet, (if u know wot i mean lol)

Ems your clinic are tight arses arnt they..i get a blood test my clinic wont go by a HPT at all they poopoo them... i know if i had a BFP on a HPT i wouldnt care what my bloods said...LOL

Re: the HPT - the thing is, we're are NHS funded on this first attempt so I don't think its too bad that we have to buy our own HPT. I am however concerned that the clinic don't do blood tests especially as lots of people on here say the HPT isn't 100% trustworthy! Mind you, I am sure our clinic know what they're doing...?
Had a major stress tonight - had to scream into a pillow! My mum said on the phone that she is not sleeping and worrying for us and that if we have a bad result on Friday she will be devastated. Its bad enough that me and DH will be devastated but knowing that others are going to be upset too is not helping. I tried to talk to her about it but she didn't seem to understand where I was coming from. One way or another on Friday we'll know though, and can move on, whatever the outcome.

Here Here - i almost cant wait untill its here (for a BFP obisouly) but also so we can move on and start living again, wotever the outcome - i feel the past 2 weeks from EC onwards has been so stressfull. I really dont know how all u ladies can go thru this time and time gain, i dont think i would be strong enough! Altho DH and i have already decided that IF (a big if (PMA) lol) this doesnt work, we will give it another shot - im not ready to give up on our dream yet

Hi tigergirl and welcome - seems we are on similiar dates so hopefully we can go through our 2ww together, thats if our follies play ball!! Grow follies grow...

Ems - oh dear sounds like the last thing you need - my in-laws said something similiar when we first told them that we were having difficulties. When my DH told me their response, you nearly had to peel me off the ceiling !!
Focus on yourselves at the moment although I'm sure by Friday you will be celebrating

Good to see your PMA up Becky - keep it that way during the week...not long now - just hold out if you can and no more HPT's, you know they are evil

Off for some good protein food for follies and will check back later to see if there is any news on newbie rose.

Thanx for the welcome, everyone!

My clinic says I'm doing fine, on the low side of "normal", but fine for my age.

I started the Follistim on Sat, Sept 2. As of this morning, I have 6 follies on the left ovary, ranging in size from 9.2mm to 14.7mm, and 5 on the right side, ranging from 9.6mm to 10.4mm. The ones on the right side seem to in arrested development; every time I go for a scan I have more, but they all seem to be not growing past the approx 10mm stage. Has this happened to any one else?

Nimble, if I'm not being too nosy, how many follicles do you have, and what size are they? When did you start stimming?

Hi gals...it is nighttime here on the pacific coast of the USA...and I am getting ready for bed.

My PMA is all over the place. I have good moments...then bad ones.

Hey...are you guys being careful not to pick up anything heavy or are you beleivers that if it is going to stick it is going to stick. My mom tries to alleviate my concerns by saying...and I quote..."You cannot pop this off yourself...women have been throwing themselves down staircases for decades trying to cause them to 'not be preggo' and it doesn't work (except on soap operas)'

That makes me feel better cause I am not treating myself as fragile as I think my clinic would like.

What are your thoughts?

I SOOOO know what you mean about what your mum said on the phone!! My sister is a great one for stupid comments. I read on another board and they call these comments FUCA (friends and family unwanted comment or advise)....I'm sure all you ladies have had that at some stage!!!

As for me.. I had my first BT after starting Gonal F today and E2 is rising was 462 today. Have BT and scan on Friday and appear to be on schedule for EC sometime next week.
Finish up work on Thursday for 2.5 weeks.....can't wait.
