Amanda -- I hope you have a nice vacation. You need it after the stress of a cycle and the way yours ended. My DH and I took a nice trip a few weeks after I miscarried. It was just what we needed to regroup.

Lauren319 -- LOL... your posts are hilarious! I bet you are a laugh a minute. BTW... I'm fat as f**k too!!!

Jenna -- Pulling sensations and being dry and thirsy sound promising to me! All you have to do is get through the weekend now.

Tiger -- Aw, don't get discouraged hun. I've been scouring these boards for 2ww bfp symptoms and over and over I keep reading how women had AF symptoms and were sure AF was coming. I know you did an IUI, but why not put you on PIO? PIO doesn't interfere with a HPT... it's the trigger shot that does. I hope you're right and that I am pregnant! And I'm hoping and praying that you are too! We could use the company on the pregnant side of the boards!

Sher -- We will certainly miss you here. You are more than welcome to stay and there will be many of us cheering you on when you do your next cycle. BTW... I have a friend who did 3 fresh IVF's = BFN. Then did a FET and transferred two. Guess what? She had b/g twins last December! You've got a great chance with your frozens.

amaut -- I know! I envy those women who get pregnant just from looking at sperm!

Es -- Your follie numbers sound great! I guess it's possible you could have a 19. I had one that was quite a bit larger than the others. RE said "when that happens, we just sorta ignore it". Well, it was 23 on ER day and still had a good egg in it! You're going to get some great eggs and this time is your time! I hope you're right and my symptoms mean something good... but who knows? I had cramping on my first IVF that was BFN. I didn't make notes but I think it was only 1-2 dp3dt though. My BFP cycle it was 4,5,& 6 dp3dt adn this time it was on 3&4dp5dt. I don't think a side effect of PIO is cramping, is it?

Teresa -- Love love your ticker! Way to stay positive. I'll be cheering you on like mad in Sept.

AFM -- I'm working a double today. I used to do this all the time, but stopped when I was pregnant last March. Now I agreed to this because none of my co-workers know I'm doing IVF. Except now I can barely keep my eyes open. Still with a bit of mild cramping but definitely less than yesterday. With my BFP cycle, I had a few days of cramping and then NOTHING for the last 4 days before my beta. I thought for sure it worked because the cramping was pretty severe that something had to be going on in there. But then when it stopped, I convinced myself it didn't work. I'm also going to the Jimmy Buffett show tomorrow with DH and friends. It's always a big party with a lot of drinking involved. How do I explain to them why I'm not drinking? I thought about mixing myself a non-alcoholic cocktail as a cover. I can't believe I'm stressing over this! Everyone knows I love beer and that's usually my "go to" drink.

Lou - They want to see my numbers before we do the u/s (make sure they're high enough to see something by that point, which they should be if they continue to double.) So we'll get the b/w numbers back Monday afternoon then do the u/s Tuesday morning. Luckily the RE is only like 10 miles from my house so it's a quick trip. Hopefully Tuesday will be a great day for both of us!

klinger -- We were posting at the same time! Yes, I have everything crossed that Tuesday will be a great day for us both. I hope you're beta number on Monday is fantastic.

Jenna- hopefully that dryness is a sign - you seem to be getting lots of positive insight onto a possible BFP - crossing my fingers for you girl!

Ester - sounds like your follies are growing nicely - hopefully trigger will be soon!

Tiger04 - keep your PMA going - I keep feeling things that I'm not sure are signs I'm about to get my period or hopefully pregnancy cramps... I'm hoping for the latter of course - I've heard they are similar so don't get too down if you feel PMSy!

AFM - I made it through so far today without POAS but think I may have to break down tomorrow morning - I'm SO curious!! Although the last couple weeks I am up 2-3 times a night peeing so will that 1st time in the morning really be any better than the others? I'm going to go shopping tonight to keep my mind off POAS - have a 30% off coupon and Kohl's cash so gotta use them

Lou - That's so funny about Jimmy Buffett! You should get some empty beer bottles and fill them with water lol. I was thinking the same thing about my cruise. There are like 30 ppl going, so if I get a positive I am going to drink soda and tell ppl it's Vodka/Tonic. I would hate to get a low beta and have to have all those ppl thinking I am pregnant!

I have one week to go til beta. Right now I am fine with not POAS, but mainly because I know it's early. I wonder if I will buy them Wednesday on my day off?

AFM... I went for my b/w and u/s this morning and just got a call saying I must be a slow starter. They don't see anything happening yet and my levels are not where they would expect them to be. They are upping my dose of Gonal-f and want to see me Monday morning.

triggering tonight at 10:15!!! er is scheduled for 9:15 am on monday, have to be there at 8:30. my re will actually be doing it. he's been away on vacation this week, so i haven't seen him, but i guess he's been logging into the computer system & going over my file & checking things off...i'm assuming i'm not that special, lol, & he does that w/ all his patients. but that's nice that he's that dedicated that even while he's on vacation, he's checking in on his patients. the re who did my u/s this am said i have some nice follies in there. she also asked me if i was ok b/c i looked uncomfortable sitting on the table before she was about to start doing the u/s...i told her i feel really full & there's pressure where the ovaries are. after the u/s, she did say that i have some fluid & my ovaries are very big, so just to keep an eye out for any ohss symptoms, especially after tonight's trigger shot. i'm bringing dh to get his tesa done tomorrow...he has to be there at 7:30 am. it's in the same building as the re, so i can also get my b/w done to check for trigger shot, & deliver dh's goods. i know there are so many other obstacles in the way...right now my big concern is getting sperm & the fertilization. last time, we had 14 eggs that were icsi's & 2 fertilized. we'll most likely be doing a 3dt, but won't know for sure until it gets closer to that day & they may tell us to wait & come in for a 5dt, but i doubt it...the other 2 times it was a 3dt.
well i'm off to my niece's 7th birthday party!!! beautiful day here today!

Tiger - I'm sure I will be questioning everything just like you are. I wish I knew more, but all I can say is that pregnancy symptoms are much like AF symptoms, so all is definitely not lost.

Klinger - what movies did you get? I need suggestions for my bed rest.


AFM - Drumroll please..... 3 embryos came back with a normal report!! I'm doing my ET tomorrow at 10 am. I don't know if I'm going to do one or two yet (they don't do any more than that with PGD because of the good quality and chances of multiples). I can't believe I only had 6 to begin with and 3 of them made it all the way through the process and are normal!! I'm so excited. Please think good thoughts for me. Also, I wanted your opinions. Because of PGD, they know the sex of the embryos. If you were told that the RE's recommendation was to implant two embryos and you could choose the sexes to implant, would you???? Would you choose if it was just one???

Lauren I followed your posts and I just had to crash in. I would absolutely choose the sexes if I could. If I had no children I would put back a boy and a girl but since I have a son I have dreamed about having a little girl for years so that would be my choice. Of course that is just me and you have to do what is right for you and DH...congrats and best of luck

Hi Everyone,

I apologize for the MIA-ness. I've been on this roller-coaster ride and really trying to keep my mind clear and stress free. However, I'm more than ready to come back. Today is my mother in-law's 60th birthday bash, so everything is busy and crazy (well for everyone else, I'm getting a pedi right now ). I need to make time to catch up with everyone's status.

But AFM, I had my beta this past Thursday and it was a BFP! My HCG was 317 and I'm scheduled for my second beta Monday. Praying for the best.

I have been suffering from a mild case of OHSS. Well, they say mild, bit I look 5 mths preggo with a bunch of pressure and discomfort. I'm trying not to be a whiny baby, cause I'm so happy but this swelling and boosting has been draining me.

Anyways, I pray you guys are doing wonderful and baby dust to everyone.

Moorebaby- that’s great that they are adjusting your meds. Sounds like you are responding beautifully to the meds. You also have 8 follies right there! You’ve still got a few days, so they could grow a lot more too! Yeah! Triggering tonight! Awesome news. Everything is going to go great. I am praying and thinking of you tons my friend.

Teresa-I got teary-eyed reading your cheering for me! It’s exactly what I needed. Sometimes you just need to feel like someone has your back. Your support means more to me than you know. You start on Tuesday! I can’t wait to cheer you on! Can you believe it’s already here?

Cakes – YES! You are pregnant! Hooray! It’s so early that a beta of 21 should be expected. So, when do you go in for your next beta?

Klinger- thanks for not giving up on me! How are you feeling? What movies do you have planned?

Lou- Thanks! I keep trying to settle down and not drive myself crazy, but I am crazy! I just went to Costco to try and buy an economy size of hpt. DH was laughing hysterically…but he knows better to judge me during my craziness. He even helped me look for them! No luck…couldn’t find them at Costco. I did however stock up on cotton pads…9 packages of them…I think it will take me at least a year or two to use them all up! But, it was a great deal! I don’t know why I’m not on pio, RE said I didn’t need it, but if this cycle doesn’t work, I’m going to ask about it. Lou, I just know you are prego. I really hope I get to join you in the other side! I’m sorry you had to work a double…ugh. But, the concert will be great! I’ve been doing club soda and lemon…looks like a vodka soda…you’ll get tricky. If not, tell them you have a bad headache!

Kbill- tell me about it. I have one HPT left and I cant keep my mind off that stinking thing! Thanks for cheering me on! I’ll be waiting by the computer to see if you POAS tomorrow! If you get up in the middle of the night, the first pee is the best, not necessarily the morning pee. You just want the pee that’s been sitting in you the longest.

Lauren1171- see we’re drinking the same thing! Congrats on making it through the first week. Hopefully the second goes super quick for you!

Rebecca- that’s totally fine. The first IVF they always have to tinker with your doses to see how you respond. Everyones different, so it’s all good.

Lauren319-thanks for your encouraging words. Oh my gosh! See I knew this was going to be great and that you’d have lots of wonderful embies to choose from! Gosh, that’s such a tough question. I think for the first one, I would be happy with a boy or girl. Maybe if it was my second and I had a boy or instance, I would guess. I guess the first question is to go with the best looking embryo regardless of the sex. What do you think?

Renee – congrats! That is so very exciting! YEAH! I love all of the great news we are getting on here today!

AFM: Alright, you girls are going to tell me I’m crazy. So, for the first time late last night I had a lot of soreness in my boobs and I’m starting to feel something down there…but not like AF at all. I’m feeling completely different, so, now my hopes are back up! I keep telling myself that I just won’t know until a few days, but something feels different. I just really hope this is it this time. Please God! I’ve been keeping myself busy and started a new series called “house of night” it’s similar to the twilight series and it’s written by P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast. So, I highly recommend it for anyone’s 2WW. It’s totally addicting and I’m on my 4th book so far! It’s just great. Anyways, Monday and Tuesday are huge days for a bunch of us! Talk with you all soon!

Tiger - Thanks for the advice - I was up at 4:30 this am and figured it had been 5 hours and that was probably the longest stretch I would get so I tested then. It was negative but I was sort of expecting that. Crossing fingers for tomorrow am!

Klinger - glad to hear the bleeding is stopping. How are you feeling otherwise?

Lou - glad you survived the double! have fun at Buffet! I love guacamole - just had some for lunch. I bet if you don't draw attention to what you are or aren't drinking, others won't even notice.
