Karian -- Welcome to this IVF community. GREAT group of gals here. You have come to the right place. Unexplained infertility totally stinks. To encourage you, I have a friend that had unexplained infertility and she now has a beautiful baby girl that is 8 months old. No explanation as to why she couldn't get pg and then as to why she "suddenly" did (after 8 years of trying)

Babyblu73 -- How are you feeling since ET?

Teresa -- so sorry you have had more bleeding. I can only imagine how very stressful that must be.

Ryann -- so sorry about your headaches w/ the Lupron. That totally stinks but YIPPEEE for getting started.

Quick post....my sns this morning yielded 3 follies size 16,16,14 and 5 less than 10--on my left side (the side with a tube!) My other side isn't really doing much--1 size 13, and several smaller than 10--but who needs that side anyway! Nurse said I may inseminate as early as Thursday or Friday, which would mean trigger tomorrow-right? This IUI thing is new to me. I thought I'd be stimming for longer for sure...wow...this is a lot easier than IVF! I know it isn't a lot of follies, but I am trying to remain positive...it just takes one, right!

I have my HSG in a couple hours...so hopefully that one lone tube will be wide open!!! It darn well better be after all that I have been through...please, please, please...I can't take any more disappointment....wish me luck ladies...

Has anyone had injections of HCG during the 2ww? I was told to do one every 3 days. Of course, this will make it difficult/impossible to get an accurate urine pregnancy test result and I'm bummed about that. Finding out from the RE seems like a painful way to find out. Thoughts?

AFM - I trigger tonight!!! Woo-freaking-hoo I am sooo excited!! My 7 follies looked gorgeous today, so I am just over the moon and very proud of my ovary. It's nice to be heading into ER with a great PMA. So I'll do my trigger shot tonight at 11pm and have ER Thursday at 11am. OMG, how am I going to concentrate on work today?? LOL

AFM- I went in to RE today..I have been spotting as I told u guys no AF so they took my bloodwork and also did u/s my linng was still thick(not sure) what that means im not sure...the doc really wouldnt elaborate on the AFC she said it was good and that I will get a call today if I am to start..my meds are follistim 450 and menopur (2) not sure of the exact dose w/out looking at bottles! So I am hoping its time...not really sure! I dont want to start if my body is not ready bc I want the best results possible!!

Hi everyone,

Still pretty sad about my BFN on Saturday. Not sleeping well at all. I just lay there and wonder if we'll ever have a child. I've now done 3 fresh and 2 frozen cycles for a total of 5 transfers that resulted in a pregnancy that ended in miscarriage and 4 BFN's. I'm just at a loss. There's nothing wrong with me! Other than that I'm nearly 38 years old. DH has a low count and poor morphology. He FINALLY (after over 2 years) went to a urologist and got diagnosed with a varicocele. He's following up on Nov 12th and will have it repaired if it's recommended. It is causing him some pain. This should improve his fertility (we hope). He thought he had a hernia. We have a consult with RE on Friday afternoon. I'm going to ask about a bunch of things to possibly improve our results for our final cycle including DHEA, estrogen priming, and growth hormone. We will cycle once more. Probably late December/early January. If that ends in a BFN as well, then we will have to try on our own and hope for the best. Or maybe do IUI if DH's sperm quality is better. We shall see.

I wish you all the very best of luck in your cycles. I'll read along and post occasionally so know I'm cheering you all on. I will update after our appts for sure.

Lou; I understand where you are coming from. I have two grown sons from my younger years, absolutely no 'issues' whatsoever as far as the doctors can find; great quality and quantity for eggs; excellent lining - DH has no sperm issues - doctors said we are ten years' younger as far as our reproductive systems go. And we've had a natural miscarriage at 9 weeks... a couple chemical pregnancies on our own (we get pregnant pretty easily), transferred two fresh - bfp, then blighted ovum, then three frozen - bfp, then ANOTHER blighted ovum. We would find this all a lot easier to accept if there were something WRONG with us..... I know you are hurting, I am too.. and scared to death to try again. I hope you guys are successful, I really, really do.

Tammy; sorry things didn't work... I'm admiring your strength to jump back into the saddle so quickly. You won't even miss a beat, and so many women are successful the second time around.

Tess: as for poas - I am an admitted, known and proud poas junkie. I despise getting bad news all at once; I would much, much rather get the story a tidbit at a time. I will test out my trigger (I am currently 2dp5dt) and if I don't see a line by 5dp5dt I know I am out. I've done this for three years and always get a line by 10dpo if I am indeed pregnant.

Klinger: yay for triggering!!! Cheers on to your seven follies!

Lou.....My RE talked about growth hormone too. I didn't get into the details because we surrendered and went to DE. I did estrogen priming and it didn't help me, but it did help Franny....I think. I hope that you can find one that works for you. I know that sometimes you feel like you're at your whits end and then you somehow find the strength to go for it again. You will...I know you will....we're all praying for you.

Someone had asked when I got my BFP, it was 9dp3dt. I had negatives leading up to that.

Beta came back as 143 for 12dp3dt, so it looks like it is in line for a singleton. Hoping it's super sticky!

Sorry to leave you all hanging this morning...when the nurse called me back, I asked if I could go in for a baseline this morning and she said yes, if we hurry...so we took off real quick to get there in time. If E2 level comes back good today...I start stims tonight!! I have 13 follicles growing and lining was a 6mm. This is wayyy better than my last 2 cycles. So I'm feeling pretty good about everything.

I really need to catch up with everyone...but will have to do so in just a bit.
