Hey Lady's
well for me the party was fab went like this
started in the hotel at 6pm until 8 the hotel had a shuttle service so they took us all to the party at 8pm until 12am then they came and took us to the clubs until 3am picked us up we went to a diner had cheese burger and chips and gravy (fry's and gravy)mmmmm on a drunken tummy LOL they picked us up took us back to the hotel at 4am
you can imagine how much alcohol was consumed we didn't play that trick because when we got back to the hotel the guy was wondering up and down the hall way knocking on doors asking people (unknown to us) to play shots with him so we left him and went to bed...LOL

i cant believe we didn't have a hangover at all nothing just very very tired....

Finally feeling well enough to get on computer. ER done! Yipee! No pain med except one lortab when woke up...but i was breathing!! To make it worse, RE had to go THROUGH uterus to get to a few follicles on the left. owwweeee! So in some serious pain right now. BUT... 16 eggs retrieved!!! wooohoo! (told RE he can go through my uterus ANYTIME if he gets me 16 eggs heeheehee). killing me to sit here, back to the couch... maybe 3rd time will be a charm for me??!!! Will know ferts tomorrow...

Sassy WTG on those eggs how wonderful ouch at the collection but i agree with you whatever it takes your Dr is fab for doing that for you i cant wait to read your fert count sending prayers for your littleones and cheering on your DH's swimmers (something i never thought id ever do...LOL) i hope you feel better soon and its not all too sore for you

Hi Ladies,

Hope you don't mind me barging in here this late in the game, but I was only recently fortunate enough to stumble upon this site. Thanks Tex for letting me know about this forum. Everyone has such a wealth of knowledge I wish I had been privvy to all this when I started my cycle.

I had my ER today, 11 retrieved. I'll get the stats on them tomorrow from the dr. This is my first IVF cycle after 2 failed IUI's. Scheduled for my ET on Tuesday. Fingers crossed. My age is my big concern here, medically all seems o.k. , but quality of the eggs is the concern.

I didn't bother doing one today so I will have my blood test tomorrow and as Bec so beautifully put it, will hope and wait to see if the Fat Lady has laringitis! Let's hope she does for both of us! Sonya -I am so sorry re-your EC. Sounds like they really messed up for you. Hopefully things will turn out fine tomorrow but I would be asking them to do my next cycle for free (hopefully you'll not even need but just in case...............) If you don't ask then you don't get. May be your dh could talk to them about this for you so that you can focus on you & your EC tomorrow. Big hugs

Mom - If you have waited a year & that is what they told you to do then I am sure that there should not be a problem with the iui. I feel so scared when going to the consultant as they have so much control over our lives. fingers crossed

Now last but not least, Angie. HPTs are from hell. I have everything crossed that tomorrow will bring you your dreams and a stork to the board. We so need it.

No fairytale for me I'm afraid. Just the same as last time. Spotting has pretty much turned into full on bleed for me. Hard for me to say but AF here on Day 12 as last cycle. I shall go for the blood test on Tuesday as my clinic will not book me in for follow up until I have attended. Follow up is at least 2 weeks later so will be after Xmas now. Dh and I are going to try to get a last minute holiday to somewhere sunny as we don't want to put a downer on Xmas for the rest of the family or pretend that everything is alright when it is not. After 2 cycles and 2 ops in the last 8 months, we need some time out together as well. Dh will not talk yet about what next but we have snow babies from cycle 1 so could try a FET. My clinic makes you wait at least 3AFs so guess the earliest that I could cycle again would be February whether we go for a FET or another Fresh cycle.

You have all been fab and I would really be losing it if I did not have you girls to lean on.

carolyn and my other xfactor buddies - oh my god!!! how good was the show last night?? i've always found leona great but last night i thought she was outstanding!!! really surprised that the person who left left (for those ladies who have not seen it yet)...how you doing??

bec - i was pushing it, wasnt i? how did your EC go today? cnat wait to hear how many lovely eggies you have. 16 seems to be the magic number on here so thats a minimum!! ok?? lol

tc - technical sex, eh? the problem was that my dh has a very low count, in the last couple of tests he only had a count of about 300 000 rather than 23 million!!! so i guess 6 is good in any case. i think i'm going to phone them tomorrow and just ask what his count was...hope you're having a good weekend!

sassy - 16 eggss!!!!!!!!!!!! woohoooooo! thats great!

mom20 - i really hope they say you can have iui tomorrow. it is such a dilemma because of the money, i know. we're trying to sell my dh's motorbike to pay for most of it and in the meantime a very good friend of ours has leant us the money for what we should get for the bike. but its the wrong season to sell something like that. god knows what we'll do though if it doesnt work 1st time and we have no frozen embies!! i'm a graduate going on to do a vocational postgrad next sep (i deferred from this year coz of the ivf) and my dh is on a low income. so i really feel your dilemma. hugs to you!!

aunty - your party sounded great!! and i've just been on your myspace and the music and the background...wow!!!! thats so cool. i might try and do something with mine later!

lara - thanks for the best wishes for the 13th. i'm very doubtful though as they said they are full and also coz they mucked up one of dh's blood tests, which they then had to repeat this week and it takes nearly 2 months to come back. but hey, you never know.

as for me, i have a rotten cold.... so i'm gonna go and lay on the couch and do nothing! hehe

Anyway I read what you wrote about the party and sounds like you had an absolute blast. I cannot stay up past 11pm anymore let alone keep going until 4am!!!

Just wanted to say thank you for all the effort that you have put into this thread and the board. You have done a terrific job. I so appreciate it and sure that all the other ladies do to.

Please know if I cannot come here much over the next few days it is because I am picking up the pieces and trying to pull myself back together. It is not because I have forgotten you or any of the other terrific ladies on here. I just feel in need of a bit of space to re-group as feel a little punch drunk.

carolyn - i am so sorry! please dont give up hope just yet though until the clinic confirms on tuesday. i know i keep saying it but the lady on the dr winston programme this week had her af show but she was very positively pregnant! did you see it? thinking of you loads and i'm not going to talk about holidays and not wanting to be here for xmas until you have a defnite answer on tuesday!!!
