21 bat- I am sorry, was the "F" word fragmented? Is today day 3 for the embies? on day 3, I had 1-10cell, no frag, 2-8 cell no frag, 1-5 cell minor frag and we transfered 4 on day 3. I had 10 follies, 7 eggs, only 4 mature enough for ICSI. Remember it only takes one fighter! I don't know why some fragment or not, I was more aggressive because we are ok with twins and triplets, if you are ok with that you might consider transfering the great ICSI one and a non-ICSI one? I will be praying for your embies! I am sure you will make the right decision, are they trying to do 5 day now? 2 more days? PMA!!!

Bat- Let's not concentrate on why. You have 5 fighters. I don't know much about fragmentation. But I'm sure you will be fine! No stressing. You need to be in top form for Sunday!

Rio- So glad to read you and DH will not have SD when you get that BFP!

I was thinking about you this morning. Has DH mentioned when he would tell SD and ex about your BFP? DH and I had a small fallout about this the other day. And he kind of resents me for pushing his kids away for the past 6 weeks. I simply explained to him, this is my time. A time to concentrate on me and our baby. And I was not going to spend time with kids who constantly call me bi%&h and treat me poorly. Nope, not gonna do it. You have got to post immediately tomorrow. I just have good feelings about tomorrow! I'm cheering for ya

Sage- I know how you feel. My DH is a complete idiot when it comes to all this. I feel like I am CONSTANTLY explaining this to him. And REPEATING! Does it not sink in?

I guess that's just men. Just express yourself to Dh and let him know that there are no difinitive dates. That's why our docs work 7 days a week.

Kbear-Don't get me started! Turn off the waterworks! Be strong. Like I mentioned to Rio, it's the hormones. Don't let them win. Just think, it's Friday!

The weekend is here! Ahhhh. Think about planning something nice. A movie? A romantic dinner? How about doing something corny like getting some cards, or checkers and play games this weekend.

weezie- you are right in this being your time and not all about SD and SS especially when they only treat you poorly. It is your time to be selfish. My stepdaughter (SD) is all attitude now and drama (on top of inconsiderate), it really is irritating for me to watch her friek out over nothing when I am going through so much. DH is amazing and poor guy is trying to be a great dad and husband. We do however, have her this weekend. We are not telling her until about 3-4 months (she will run and tell her mom who works at the hospital we are going to have our baby

I have another test on Monday then I dont know...they just want to make sure it goes up...here is something I found also...for all you that are about to get a BFP!

Donna: Welcome to the madness we call home :0) It is really great to share these experiences with others. I know there are quite a few ppl who just started their stimms but not all of the post a lot, yet. but you aren't alone!

Weezie: Does your dh stand up for you when the skids act out against you? I mean he really needs to be the mediator. And if I remember he has a 6 year old, right?? It is tough to have one that young - maybe he can spend time with them w/o them at the house. Will he be back in HOuston at all?? Just a a thought.

21bat: I am sure your top quality one will still be there on day 5, it has made it this far!! Why would they have to choose between ICSI and non-ICSI batch?? I would just have them transfer 2 of the best! and freeze the rest! My embryos were 4 8cell; 1 4cell. I didn't ask about the ones that she didn't mention. Not sure if they are fragmented or not?? Sorry you are stressed, but this is yet another bump in the road that you CAN get over. YOu and me will have Sunday transfers and post our BFPS together!!!

Cinci: Where are you at in the cycle??

Sage: It prob fits the RE clinics schedule better to start on day 4. They try to juggle all the patients and keep some on similar dates. That is crazy that your dh wants an exact date, ummm as if you are responsible for that! Just ignore him. (If talking to him doesn't work). 10-15 sounds good

Weezie: SO you are a Sunday ET also, right?? Superbowl Sunday :0)

Rinnie: ONE YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it doesn't go to day 6 outside of you it prob wouldn't have gone far inside. SO just take a deep breath and wait ONE more day!! So happy for you hun. There is still hope!!

Kbear: Sorry you had a tough day

Glad your co-workers are supportive, what a blessing! Monday will be here soon, and then you can post your BFP!!!

Yes, fragmented is the word, and today is day 3. they said that there's more fragmentation than they'd like on some embryos. what does that mean exactly for the development of the embryo and pregnancy in general? I'm still really upset...i called the docor to get the actual cell #s to share with you guys, but they didn' call me back. I guess it doesn't really make a difference, it's just a waiting game at this point and we'll just have to see what we have to work with on sunday.

i am feeling really down today..

oh, and my husband and i discussed the situation briefly on the phone today and he's pretty adament abot transferring the one embryo, even if it's ICSI. i would be more comfortable with 2, even 1 ICSI, 1 not. i would be ok with twins....he isn't. i guess that's something we need to discuss tonight. we'll need to be on the same page by sunday.
